Islamic boarding school is the oldest educational institution by the nation that participated in creating literate society. In the midst of this globalization era, Islamic boarding schools maintain both classical and modern education and teaching systems. In educational institutions need to pay attention to the quality management of education in order to improve and develop educational institutions for the future. The reality that we get in guaranteeing the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools is that there are many obstacles that must be resolved. With this the author intends to examine several management systems or quality management based on Islamic boarding schools. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is specifically directed towards descriptive qualitative research design. Trying to solve the problem based on the data concerned with the concept of quality management based on Islamic boarding school. The concept that has been prepared in the management of education quality in Islamic boarding schools is oriented to improving the quality of education by referring to the values ​​of Islamic boarding schools / Islamic society that have been entrenched among Indonesian people, by using tools, techniques and philosophies to create quality education in order to achieve educational goals.

Based on the analysis of educational and regulatory documents, the main pedagogical principles of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQU) are summarized: a) basic pedagogical principles of SSEQU’s activity, which are defined by the legislator as basic principles of state educational policy (people orientedness; primacy of the law; ensuring the quality of education and equal access to education; humanism; democracy; unity of teaching, upbringing and development, etc.); b) principles that determine the legal sphere of the SSEQU’s activity (institutional separation of control functions and functions ensuring the activities of educational institutions; transparency and publicity of management decisions; responsibility and accountability of education authorities and educational institutions to society; public administration; public partnership etc); c) pedagogical principles that guide and structurally organize SSEQU’s activities (universal design and reasonable adaptation; scientific nature of education; diversity of education; integrity and continuity of education; integration with the labor market; freedom of choosing the types, forms and pace of education, educational program, educational institution; academic integrity; academic freedom, etc. Empirical data analysis based on the educational process participants’ views on the factors, which comprise educational quality, revealed that the interviewees valued most the level of qualification, experience, knowledge and skills of their teachers, educational and methodological support, the use of new technologies and innovations in teaching for achieving quality education. Interaction and cooperation between education stakeholders was identified as important by teachers and students, and less important – by parents. Interviews with students - prospective educational experts revealed that they valued the sequence of communication skills, knowledge and skills of expert activity, experience and knowledge of pedagogical activities. Improving the quality of education is a problem that is still experienced by many educational institutions. To improve the quality of education, institutions need a system to help achieve quality education quality. So this study aims to analyze the application of Total Quality Management in the school accreditation program as an effort to improve the quality of education. This research is a literature study by taking data from several books and literature. This data collection technique uses documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using critical analysis which is interesting from several research documents. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of education is carried out by implementing Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management is carried out by continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing culture, changing organizations, maintaining relationships with customers and focusing on customer satisfaction. and have a commitment to change.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. In this case, it is important to carry out management functions in each educational institution. This article discusses the implementation of total quality management in educational institutions to seek to improve the quality of education in achieving a quality standard in education. Every educational institution should show better quality and be able to compete. This is intended so that educational institutions continue to gain the trust of the public and stakeholders. To continue to get this, it must be improved continuously, both physically and non-physically. So as to make a quality educational institution and guaranteed quality. There are several main things that need to be considered in implementing total quality management in the world of education, namely: continuous quality improvement; determine quality standards, cultural change; changes in the organization; and maintain relationships with other agencies and customers and evaluate the system if anything is not appropriate

The purpose of this study was the first purpose of this study to find out how the conditions of leadership in the world of education (headmaster) were described, in addition to knowing the leadership styles in education, to find out the leadership role of principals to face obstacles in carrying out their duties including coordinating their luggage. The research method used is literacy collection in the form of papers, books, articles and other readings. This paper complements the discussion about leadership. The existence of leaders is needed in an organization, this is because leaders will determine where they will be taken to the organization, in this case the author focuses on the field of education. In addition, leadership is needed in supporting the process of improving the quality of education, because the style or characteristics associated with leaders can influence and move individuals or groups within the organization they lead. The current leadership style in school management is no longer a force of coercion but uses commitment based on togetherness so that all parties under educational leadership can contribute to achieving the educational goals to be achieved. While the quality of education outcomes is approved by educational institutions at a certain time period. Supportive achievement or educational outcomes (student achievement) can consist of results of academic ability tests, or achievements in sports, senior or certain skills, and can also involve complexity or conditions that are not tangible (intangible) such as discipline, comfort, value respect noble values and so on. In improving the quality of this educational institution, the leadership role has a very strategic function. A leader from an educational institution will be a support for other educational institutions, especially communities, where educational institutions can get quality educational institutions.

Masa sekarang ini, pendidikan menjadi prioritas menanamkan nilai-nilai moral pada generasi di Indonesia, sehingga menjadi urgen menemukan cara bagaimana meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dalam meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan harus menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang mampu memecahkan masalah global dalam dunia pendidikan. Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah konsep manajemen sekolah dalam melaksanakan pendidikan serta diharapkan bisa memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik sesuai dengan pembangunan, tuntutan dan dinamika masyarakat. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba’ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik telah menerapkan empat konsep dalam TQM untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan: pertama, mutu dalam proses penerimaan siswa di lembaga ini; kedua, kepuasan pelanggan yaitu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik; ketiga, perbaikan terus menerus dalam rekrutmen guru yang berkualitas dan mempunyai keahlian lainnya dan setiap akhir semester melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil kinerja guru, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran; dan keempat, melibatkan seluruh komponen yang ada di lembaga pendidikan. Kata Kunci: total quality management, mutu pendidikan, madrasah Nowadays, education is a priority to instill moral values ??in generations in Indonesia. So it becomes urgent to find ways to improve the quality of education. Therefore, in improving the quality of education, it must create human resources capable of solving global problems in the world of education. Total Quality Management (TQM) is the concept of school management in implementing education and is expected to provide a better change in accordance with the development, demands, and dynamics of the community. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba'ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik has applied four concepts in TQM to improve the quality of education quality, first, the quality of the student admission process at this institution; second, customer satisfaction is to meet the needs of students; third, continuous improvement in the recruitment of qualified teachers and other experts and at the end of each semester evaluates the performance of teachers, improving the quality of learning; and fourth, it is involving all components in educational institutions.

Abstrak—Improving the quality of education must be improved continuously and continuously. Total Quality Management is one model or method used to improve e the quality of education in educational institutions. Total Quality Management is one of the keys to the success of the most effective educational goals. Because TQM prioritizes the integration of all functions and processes and empowers and involves all the elements in the education institution. Abstract Pesantren or as usually assosiated to an Islamic boarding school is one kind of typical Indonesian Islamic education established by the community. In the process, most of the islamic boarding school seeks to respond to the demands of the times by modernizing its institution by establishing formal educational institutions ranging from pre-schools to higher education level. Besides, several islamic boarding schools try to remain its original characteristics as islamic educational institutions that focuses on tafaqquh fi al-din (religion deepening), which teaches the students how to understand the content of yellow book. Islamic boarding schools that seeks to combine the two dimension, while maintaining its identity as an educational institution that tafaqquh fi al-din but on the other hand also adopted the formal education system, especially higher education is then popularly known as integrated boarding school. This study was interesting to get further investigation in order to analyze and find the concepts and models of management of integrated educational between islamic boarding school and college and the implications for improving the quality of its graduates. This study used a qualitative approach with multisite study as its research design. Finally, the study concluded that the concept of integrated education initiated by Ma'had Dalwa Bangil and Pondok Ngalah Purwosari consist of two different concepts, namely "the concept of systemic integration" that defined as an idea that want to integrate all components of the education system in both institutions, by integrated the educators, learners, curriculum, and the building or other facilities. The second concept is "organic integration”, it is about the idea that want to integrate the spiritualistic value inside the pesantren education and the values of college intellectuals. The concept of integrated education both systemic and organic has been implemented in two models: "structural model" and "cultural model". Structural model is a model that try to synthesizes boarding institution's organizational structure, while the cultural model is done by creating a culture in the two institutions that show balanced condition between spirituality and intellectuality. The two models have improved the quality of graduates at both institutions. Keywords: Integrated Education, Pesantren, Campus, Improving The Quality of Graduates   ملخص الباسانترين أو المعاهد الإسلامية هي نوع من التعليم الإسلامي الإندونيسي الذي أنشأها المجتمع. في العملية ، تحاول معظم المعاهد الإسلامية الاستجابة لمطالب العصر بتحديث مؤسساتها من خلال إنشاء مؤسسات تعليمية رسمية تتراوح ما بين مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة PAUD إلى التعليم العالي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، تحاول بعض المعاهد الإسلامية الاحتفاظ بخصائصها الأصلية كمؤسسات تعليمية إسلامية تركز على التفقه فى الدين أو تعميق الدين ، والذي يعلم الطلاب كيفية فهم محتويات الكتب الصفراء. المهاهد الإسلامية التي تحاول الجمع بين البعدين ، مع الحفظ على هويتها كمؤسسات تعليمية هي "التفقه فى الدين" ولكن من ناحية أخرى تتبنى نظام التعليم الرسمي ، وخاصة التعليم العالي الذي عرف فيما بعد بمعاهد إسلامية متكاملة. هذا البحث للاهتمام على حصول من التحقيقات لتحليل وإيجاد مفاهيم ونماذج لإدارة التعليم المتكامل بين المعاهد الإسلامية ومؤسسات التعليم العالي الإسلامية وانعكاساتها على تحسين جودة الخريجين. تستخدم هذه الدراسة نهجًا نوعيًا مع دراسات متعددة كتصميم بحثه. وأخيراً ، خلص البحث إلى أن مفهوم التعليم المتكامل الذي ابتكره معهد دالوى بانجيل ومعهد عالاه بورواساري يتكون من مفهومين مختلفين هما "مفهوم التكامل المنهجي" الذي يعرف بأنه الفكرة التي تريد دمج جميع مكونات التعليم. نظم في كلا المؤسستين ، من خلال دمج المعلمين والطلاب والمناهج الدراسية والمباني أو غيرها من المرافق. المفهوم الثاني هو "التكامل العضوي" ، والذي يدور حول الأفكار التي ترغب في دمج القيم الروحية في التعليم المعهدي والقيم الفكرية للتعليم العالي. تم تنفيذ مفهوم التعليم المنهجي والعضوي المتكامل في نموذجين: "النماذج الهيكلية" و "النماذج الثقافية". النموذج الهيكلي هو نموذج يحاول تجميع البنية التنظيمية للمؤسسات المعهدية ، بينما يتم تنفيذ نموذج ثقافي من خلال خلق ثقافة في مؤسستين تظهر حالة متوازنة بين الروحانية والمثقفين. وقد أحسن كلا النموذجين جودة الخريجين في كلا المؤسستين. مفتاح الكلمات: التعليم المتكاملى ، المعهد الإسلامي ، الجامعة ، تحسين جودة الخريجين Abstract Pesantren atau yang biasa diasosiasikan dengan pondok pesantren adalah salah satu jenis pendidikan Islam khas Indonesia yang didirikan oleh masyarakat. Dalam prosesnya, sebagian besar pondok pesantren berupaya merespons tuntutan zaman dengan memodernisasi lembaganya dengan mendirikan lembaga pendidikan formal mulai dari pra-sekolah hingga tingkat pendidikan tinggi. Selain itu, beberapa pondok pesantren mencoba untuk tetap karakteristik aslinya sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berfokus pada tafaqquh fi al-din (pendalaman agama), yang mengajarkan siswa bagaimana memahami isi buku kuning. Pesantren yang berupaya menggabungkan dua dimensi, sambil mempertahankan identitasnya sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang tafaqquh fi al-din tetapi di sisi lain juga mengadopsi sistem pendidikan formal, khususnya pendidikan tinggi yang kemudian dikenal dengan sebutan pondok pesantren terintegrasi. Penelitian ini menarik untuk mendapatkan investigasi lebih lanjut untuk menganalisis dan menemukan konsep dan model manajemen pendidikan terintegrasi antara pondok pesantren dan perguruan tinggi Islam serta implikasinya untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi multisite sebagai desain penelitiannya. Akhirnya, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa konsep pendidikan terintegrasi yang diprakarsai oleh Ma'had Dalwa Bangil dan Pondok Ngalah Purwosari terdiri dari dua konsep yang berbeda, yaitu "konsep integrasi sistemik" yang didefinisikan sebagai gagasan yang ingin mengintegrasikan semua komponen pendidikan. sistem di kedua lembaga, dengan mengintegrasikan para pendidik, peserta didik, kurikulum, dan bangunan atau fasilitas lainnya. Konsep kedua adalah "integrasi organik", yaitu tentang gagasan yang ingin mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual dalam pendidikan pesantren dan nilai-nilai intelektual perguruan tinggi. Konsep pendidikan terintegrasi baik sistemik dan organik telah diimplementasikan dalam dua model: "model struktural"dan" model budaya ". Model struktural adalah model yang mencoba mensintesis struktur organisasi lembaga asrama, sedangkan model budaya dilakukan dengan menciptakan budaya di dua lembaga yang menunjukkan kondisi yang seimbang antara spiritualitas dan intelektual. This of the strategies developed in improving the quality of education in educational institutions is one with the establishment of integrated quality management. one model of improving the quality of education is based on integrated quality management theory. integrated quality management in the context of philosophy of education is a continuous improvement methodology that can provide a set of practical tools for every educational institution in fulfilling the absolute needs of customers for these improvements, there is continuous improvement, containing an understanding of continuous improvement that is shaken in the educational world. Meanwhile, everyone wants quality education. Understanding and views on the quality of education so far are very diverse. There are people who think that quality education is one that has quality and many students become human resources that can improve the nation and the country in the future and are seen with evidence of national and international levels. Quality schools are schools that provide foreign language subjects for their children.
