AstractInformative supplements are one of the most exploited resources used by the institutions to keep contact with the external world through the diffusion of their significant actions, so they can obviously overcome communication barriers and show external transparency. They are therefore supposed to be a very useful tool to run and maintain the corporate image of the organization / institution and create a positive atmosphere among all its stakeholders. In this article, we aim to establish which is the nature and the type of Auditorium the supplement weekly issued by the University of Alicante on the Informacion newspaper. Through content analysis, we try to define the messages from the point of view of its purpose, its theme and the public aimed to establish the fundamental premises that give influence on the configuration of the Institution’s agenda setting.Since this is a temporal analysis including the last five years of regular publication, it enables to establish what the significant changes in the timescale and the evolution of his character are. It also allows an assessment on general trends in corporate communication and defines where the communication of the organization is addressed, especially at public universities. Palabras clave: Comunicación institucional, prensa, análisis de contenido, agenda setting, Universidad de Alicante, suplemento. Key words: Institutional communication, media, content analysis, agenda setting, University of Alicante, supplement.

This chapter addresses the different roles played by the mass media in its relationship with policymaking within the Turkish case, including agenda-setting, framing and the panoptical reflected by public policy. Based on Pierre Bourdieu's field theory, this chapter demonstrates that media as a semi-autonomous field can reflect and refract public policy with respect to varying conditions and argues in particular that this role depends on the level of consolidation of the governmental power, the ideological positioning of the media outlet, and the issue area under discussion. Methodologically, a template is established for a media content analysis of the Turkish media and its role in policymaking. This template has been implemented by collecting data across five different Turkish newspapers between 1995-2013 as a framework for future studies and the analysis confirms the expectations.

Abstract This article analyses the situation of higher education courses in theology in Brazil, from a political and institutional point of view. It notes the need to adopt the epistemological status of theology itself as a parameter of institutionalization, in order to overcome the exclusively political criteria that have governed the process of accreditation of those courses, as well as the construction of curriculum guidelines. It affirms the ‘public’ aspect as inherent to theological reflection. Theology being a logos of faith structured originally within the university may, in the same space, be recognized as legitimate and established knowledge, according to the academic rules of the scientific community.

This research offers a review of the online news content in Bulgaria, related to school aggression, violence, and sports initiatives tackling those behavioral problems. The aim is to provide an understanding of the phenomenon and the societal attitude towards its dimensions and possible solutions through sport. A media content analysis of online articles, dated January 2019 – April 2020, was used as a research methodology. Thirty-three articles on aggression and violence in school were reviewed, based on their frequency, timeline, place of publication, topics, and spokesperson. For the same time period, sixteen articles related to dealing with aggression through sport were reported. The results show that most of the media content on violence and aggression among students was related to raw statistical data and reports of cases. A relatively small section in the news was dedicated to opinion articles. It was observed that those who witness cases of aggression do not understand the seriousness of the situation and see it as entertainment. As a result, a major part of the video content, related to aggression, is being uploaded on the Internet by students and parents. However, the public focus is mainly shifted towards the school authorities and the figure of the teacher. At the same time, aggression in schools is spread among all students. It has a constant value and is provoked by numerous factors. On the contrary, initiatives and events aiming to disseminate information and to reduce aggression through sport were organized in many Bulgarian cities by nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and schools. The majority of events were organized as a part of European or national projects. It is suggested a more centralized national approach towards reducing aggression through different sports activities in school.

Palabras clave: Vinculación, Universidad, Empresa, Gobierno   ABSTRACT In the contemporary world, knowledge is increasingly becoming a fundamental element for development processes, which has been transforming the role of universities in their links with society. In this context, the participation of the government, as well as of the industry, becomes equally relevant, giving rise to diverse models of linkage between all these actors. Taking into account the above, the present work has as its fundamental purpose the systematization, from the theoretical-methodological and historical point of view, of the conceptual bases for the university-industry-government linkage, as well as of the linking models derived from the international experience. Both topics are addressed in the two sections that make up the article.   Key words: Linkage, University, Industry, Government

Just as in the private sector, the public communication activities of state institutions have gained increased weight and significance in our media society. In contrast to the public relations of private institutions, however, the communications of public authorities are subject to severe constitutional restrictions. Promotional activities by state institutions can pose a serious threat to the free process of forming a political opinion in a democratic society. At the same time, public authorities are facing increased demands for transparency and increasing difficulties in gaining acceptance for their decisions, which has been underlined in particular by recent protest movements. Against this background, this thesis, which was supervised at the University of Frankfurt, analyses the informal communications of state institutions and public acceptance of their decisions from a constitutional point of view. It identifies the legal scope within which public institutions are justified in promoting their decisions by means of public communication activities.

The rapid development of new technologies and their impressive communication capacity has fundamentally changed modern democracy by providing easy and universal access to information, as well as increasing participation and accessibility of political involvement tools. One of the electoral participation tools is e-voting which has been used in only a few countries. The main aim of the paper is to explore whether and how e-voting has been presented in Polish mass media (1), as well as to investigate people’s opinions about e-voting against certain political factors (2). The research is based on a media content analysis (quantitative and qualitative), data collected via the Content Analysis System for Television (CAST) and a quantitative analysis of data from a survey conducted by the authors (2018, sample: 1717 Poles). The results of the analyses show that the debate on the implementation of e-voting is rather poor, but the support for e-voting among Poles remains considerable. The public media rhetoric is interlinked with attitudes towards political parties. To some extent, determinants are reflected in the public opinion on the implementation of e-voting since Poles declare both their support for the introduction of e-voting and willingness to vote online.

In lieu of an abstract, this is the article's first page: With classical orientalists, such as Frants Buhl (1850-1932) and Johannes Pedersen (1883-1977), and contemporary scholars like Jørgen Bæk Simonsen, Jørgen S. Nielsen and Jakob Skovgaard-Petersen, Denmark has a proud history when it comes to the study of religion, including Islam and the wider Muslim world (on Buhl, see Læssøe 1979; on Pedersen, see Løkkegaard 1982). Besides these scholars, it is also possible to find others in the fields of sociology, anthropology, political science and media studies who have made, and continue to make, strong contributions to the study of Islam and Muslims (cf. e.g. Tidsskrift for Islamforskning 7(1) 2013). Denmark has also produced a number of strong female scholars, such as Garbi Schmidt, Lene Kühle, Kate Østergaard, Nadia Jeldtoft, Birgitte Schepelern Johansen, Jytte Klausen and Catharina Raudvere (who is Swedish, but holds a professorship in the History of Religions at the University of Copenhagen). Hence it is evident that the study of Islam and Muslims is thriving in Denmark. That said, however, it is also apparent that the academic study of minority religions (not least Islam) is often perceived as a controversial topic. From this point of view Denmark is not unique: studying Islam and Muslims generally causes debate and sometimes even tension within both academia and the public sphere. One important instrument for countering simplistic and populist conclusions about (...)

ABOUT UNIVERSITY LODOTECA UFG/RC: more than where children place to playAbstractIn this article we socialized the results of a research that took place as a discipline of the Physical Education Course at the Federal University of Goias - Catalão. The intention was to understand from the vision of space of Henri Lefebvre (conceived, perceived and lived). The methodological course was based on the accomplishment of a documentary research in the archives of the Ludoteca and the accomplishment of narrative interviews with the playroom workers and the coordinator. The data were analyzed through content analysis (BARDIN, 1997) and the results allow us to perceive the senses produced on the UFG Playroom as a space that brings, in the dimension of the conceived, marks of the university that welcomes it as a extension policy, but which introduce in it the possibilities of teaching and research, enriching it and making it a space for formation. By the dimension of the perceived the space of the playroom has as collective marks the collective, the sharing and the production of subjectivities that transit and explore the reproduction of the social space by means of the transmission of the ludic culture, the traditions and the repertory of the childhood as the production of the space that has in the transgression, tactics and arts to make the chance to create new scripts of person and society. By the dimension of the lived it establishes itself as a living, complex laboratory that has in its genesis the formation by the presence, memory, sharing and playfulness that incorporating the values of the public university extend the understanding of the Labyrinth much more than merely being a "place in what a child plays.
