Abstract Background: Education informatization is still in the early stage in China. The sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic led medical educators passively incorporating information technology for remote medical teaching, in which challenges and opportunities have co-existed.Objectives: The objectives of this study were to (1) explore the medical educators' perception and experience of online teaching in medical education before and after emergency remote teaching (ERT) experience during the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) illustrate the medical educators' satisfaction on the contribution of online teaching on medical teaching, and (3) reveal the main challenges medical educators met when they conduct the ERT during the COVID-19 epidemic, and to demonstrate whether the challenges are a different by age or gender including some other factors.Methods: A web-based questionnaire was disseminated to the faculty of medical education departments at higher institutions in China. The collected quantitative data of the questionnaire were analyzed by using the SPSS software package. Descriptive statistics were conducted on demographic data and the perception and experience of medical educators before and after the COVID-19 were shown as the frequencies and percentages, while the teachers' opinions on contribution of online teaching on medical education were analyzed by descriptive statistics with means and standard deviations. Multiple response analysis combined with crosstabulation chi-square test was applied, and a P-value <.05 was considered to be statistically significant to exams the relationship between age as well as gender and difficulties met in online teaching respectively.Results: A total of 26 medical educators (65.38%, n=17 female and 34.62%, n=9 male) were valid participants. Total 57.69% (n=15) of them had used web-based teaching before the COVID-19 pandemic, whereas 43.21% (n=11) had not. The agreement level on the teaching effect of online teaching was medium, with a mean value of 2.55 (range from 1-5). The first two difficulties medical teachers came across in online teaching were the web-based instructional design (27%), and the unfamiliarity with web-based teaching tools (25 %). No significant difference in the types of difficulties encountered by different ages (P=0.969) or gender (P = 0.873) in online teaching.Conclusions: The majority of medical educators are open-minded to incorporating online teaching into their teaching practice in the future. However, medical educators in China commonly faced shared difficulties when they adopted online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. Identify these challenges and proposing some relevant suggestions to promote a further increase in the active adoption of information technology in medical education.

This study aimed to examine the effect of changes in status, employee engagement, and the utilization of information technology on the quality of financial reporting. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to examine changes in the status of Bogor Agricultural University. Moreover we employ a multiple regression analysis to examine the effect of employee engagement and information technology in performance financial of report.  In addition, Ultrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) was used to examine the financial human resource mapping. The results of ANOVA test showed that there was no significant difference of the financial management of Bogor Agricultural University before and after the implementation of Public Service Board (BLU). Furthermore, multiple linear regression test results showed that the factors that affect the performance of financial reports are employee engagement and use of information technology. However, it is found that the factor that really affects the performace of financial reports is the use of information technology. Finally, the test results of the mapping showed that employee engagement of human resources staff of Bogor Agricultural University are in medium position indicating that it needs to be maintained and improved.

Nowadays the education system has dramatically changed from traditional classroom teaching to remote online teaching due to this COVID-19 crisis. This study aimed to estimate the challenges in Online Learning among undergraduate l students studying in various Aided colleges during this lockdown period due to the COVID-19 crisis. The study was conducted by employing a questionnaire prepared using 'Google form'. An aggregate of 136 undergraduate students participated in this survey. For hypotheses testing both descriptive statistics such as 'Mean, SD' and inferential statistics such as t – test' were employed. Analysis showed that there is no significant difference between Problems faced by UG students in terms of gender, place of living, and academic year. The study confirms that girl students have more than boy students in the online learning process.

This study aimed to determine whether digital the use of folktales increases the vocabulary mastery of the seventh-year students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru. This research was a quantitative study by using experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The samples consisted of 20 students from a total population of 320 students and were determined through a one-stage cluster sampling technique. Fiftyitems of multiple-choice tests were used to measure the vocabulary mastery of the students in the pre-test and post-test. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the mean score and standard deviation between the pre-test and the post-test. A paired sample t-test through SPSS Version 20 was utilized to determine differences in the students' vocabulary mastery before and after receiving treatment. There is a significant difference between the mean scores in the pre-test and the post-test, namely (1.172 &lt;1.438), which indicates that there are differences in students' vocabulary mastery before and after treatment. The results of hypothesis testing proved that the value of t count = 7.528 is higher than t table = 2.093 (p = 0.05, df = 19). The comparison between the two values shows that the value of t count is greater than T table, which means that Ho: digital folktales does not improve vocabulary mastery of the seventh year students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru, is rejected, and H1: digital folktales increase vocabulary mastery of the seventh year students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru, is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that digital use of folktales improved the vocabulary mastery of the seventh-year students’ of SMP Negeri 9 Buru.

The COVID-19 outbreak started late 2019 has systematically changed the lives of people around the globe. Medical schools have to implement changes in the teaching methodology to observe social distancing order. The pandemic perpetuates a paradigm shift in medical teaching, from face-to-face to virtual and online teaching. Virtual teaching has become the new learning norm but limited in replacing clinical teaching. It has been considered as one of the most viable options for the long-term durability and continuity of medical education. The fluidity of such educational changes, especially during the pandemic warrants preparation of the online infrastructure learning, literacy of the learners and preparation by the teachers during this period.

From year to year the number of cases of people with HIV/AIDS has increased. This increase is also experienced in Indonesia, where adolescents infected with HIV/AIDS show a number that tends to rise. It is characterized by a teenager's ignorance about reproductive health and knowledge of his sexual state. So many teenagers are at risk for early marriage problems, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and also HIV/AIDS. To look at the influence of HIV/AIDS education on the knowledge, attitudes, and Practice of Adolescent girls. Use Pre-Experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design. Sampling technique using purposive sampling and obtained the number of 47 students. The research was conducted in Senior High School 12 Makassar in September-October 2021. Data analysis using the McNemar Test. And statistical test results showed there was an influence on the use of HIV/AIDS education using web-based She Smart on knowledge where p-value = 0,000, attitude with a value of p-value = 0.000, and no significant difference in action with p-value = 0.500.  There is an influence on the use of web-based HIV/AIDS education using She Smart on knowledge and attitudes but no significant influence on actions before and after an intervention.

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Web-Based Simulation (WBS) on Physics learning to enhance digital literacy skills of Grade XI students in high school. The level of digital literacy skills of the students in the experiment and control group before and after they study using WBS learning and none was determined respectively. The comparison of their levels before and after the study was done to determine the effectiveness of the WBS learning. The participants of this study were 49 students of science class, with 14-16 age. The research design in this study were descriptive-comparison and pretest-posttest experimental design. Data analysis using Anova mixed design with significant 5%. The result of this study are level of students' digital literacy skill before learning process is generally very low; but after the treatment these skill was comparatively increased. In addition, there was a significant difference in the level of digital literacy skill of the classes where the WBS learning is the more effective than direct learning to enhance students’ digital literacy skill.

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE: Nonverbal communication has been overlooked in medical education. The purpose of this study was to explore student-teacher perceptions regarding impact of nonverbal behavior of medical educators on educational environment. METHODOLOGY: A qualitative exploratory study was conducted among purposively chosen final year students (n=150) and medical teachers (n=73) from three dental colleges of Islamabad. A web-based survey concerning three domains of kinesics (Facial expressions, Gestures, Head movement and postures) was developed and validated before execution. Comparison of participant’s responses to closed-ended questions was done by applying Fisher’s Exact Test and open-ended questions were thematically analyzed. RESULTS: Response rate of students and teachers was 46% and 63% respectively. Five out of nine closed-ended questions gave statistically significant difference among student’s and teacher’s responses (p≤0.05). Twenty-seven subthemes emerged from three domains of kinesics. Students revealed that happy mood of their teachers reduces boredom in the classroom and a teacher’s smile lets them freely express anything, whereas anger produces fear among them. According to the educators a happy instructor inspires students to study and makes the environment friendly and an undemanding smile helps build a rapport with students. Moreover, positive gestures used by teachers encourage students to clarify concepts and upright posture brings energy and motivation to the classroom. CONCLUSION: A teacher’s nonverbal behavior has a profound effect on educational environment. A smile on a teacher’s face creates a friendly and fearless environment whereas anger creates barriers to communication. A happy teacher can generate a pleasant and motivating learning environment.

Laku Pandai is a program without financial office services (Branchless Bangking) formed by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan in the context of financial inclusion, can be done in collaboration with other parties (bank agents), supported by the use of information technology facilities. This study aims to describe whether there are significant differences in banking financial performance between before and after the implementation of the Laku Pandai’s program, measured by solvency ratio (CAR), profitability ratios (ROA, BO/PO,GPM and NPM), and liquidity ratios (LDR/FDR). The population used are banks that implement the Laku Pandai’s program. BRI Bank and BRI Syariah Bank are the samples chosen using purposive sampling. The method of data collection in this study is the documentation method. Testing the hypothesis that is by non parametric statistical analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in CAR, LDR, ROA, BO / PO, GPM and NPM at BRI Bank before and after the implementation of Laku Pandai’s program. At BRI Syariah Bank there are significant differences in CAR, FDR and GPM but in ROA, BO/PO and NPM there is no significant difference between before and after the implementation of Laku Pandai’s program. In addition, between BRI Bank and BRI Syariah Bank after the implementation of the Laku Pandai’s program there were significant differences in LDR/FDR, ROA, BO/PO, and NPM, but there were no significant differences in CAR and GPM.
