Learning of reading short stories currently requires media that are in accordance with technological developments. In addition with distance learning because of the Covid-19 pandemic, learning media is needed that supports the target of reading short stories learning. Therefore, this research develops a learning media called Virtual Class. This research aims to (1) develop a learning media called Virtual Class in learning of reading short stories; (2) describe the results of the effectiveness trial of using Virtual Class media in learning of reading short stories for IX grade. This research uses a development method that adapts the waterfall model. The development procedure begins with needs analysis, design, testing, and usage. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation and interview techniques. Data are analyzed using interactive techniques. The results of the research indicate that the Virtual Class media is an effective learning media in learning of reading short stories. In addition, the Virtual Class media contains content/material, a clear display presentation, and practice questions. So, Virtual Class media can be used as an alternative media for learning of reading short stories for grades IX via online. According to media experts, there are several things that must be improved from this media, including (a) improving greetings in the introduction to learning; (b) improve the use of language again because there are still errors in writing capital letters in the material on the blog; (3) the material should be added with examples.

At this time, it is very difficult to introduce culture to students in school, and this is also involved to children do not recognizing their own culture. Many schools have so limited funds to go to museums or cultural performances, especially school which are far from the capital city. Therefore, it is necessary to make an android-based application using Virtual Reality. This writing describes about a method of designing and making Central Javanese cultural learning-application for elementary and secondary school students by utilizing technological developments, one of the fields is education. In the field of education, Virtual Reality can be used as a learning media which is able to make it more attractive. This Virtual Reality technology can be applied in regional cultural learning systems, one of this is the introduction of Central Javanese culture. The use of Virtual Reality technology is expected to be able to display objects in the form of musical instruments, traditional clothes, traditional houses, paintings and traditional weapons in virtual 3D using images which can used to be markers. This making of cultural learning application using Unity, Blender, and SketchUp. The development of this application uses the waterfall model where this method pays close attention to the design of the analysis, design, implementation and testing. With this research, it is hoped that it can help students in Central Java to get to know their culture. This application is specified for students specifically for elementary and secondary schools based on Android. This application is expected to be used as an interactive alternative media besides books, so it’s able to make students more interest on learning Central Javanese culture. This application will be made by using Unity and other assistive software and finally it will be refined with VR Box hardware to make it more real. The development of an application for the assessment of learning outcomes in this aspect will help teachers in the teaching and learning process, as well as make it easier for teachers to assess learning outcomes because the rubric is already available for application and there will be output of learning outcomes on the affective aspects of students. In this study using the waterfall model development method. As for what is needed data analysis, needs analysis, technology analysis, user analysis. Design, all data that has been collected in the system design process, so as to facilitate the description of the system and clarify the description of the existing system. Implementation, after doing the analysis and design, then the implementation is carried out, namely the development of the system, in this case starting the program. This application uses three users, namely the TU user, the Teacher user, the Homeroom user to view student data reports and student affective learning outcomes reports. The result of this research is a desktop-based application for assessing student learning outcomes in the affective aspect.

This research aims to produce products such as module, which supporter statistics courses in IKIP Budi Utomo Malang institutions. It can be used to enhance the students' ability to solve problems. This research development method using ADDIE models which include analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Methods of data collection in this study include legibility test. Results of this study we concluded the step wrote statistics module that determining competency standards, specify the title of the module, arrange the contents of the module, cover design, legibility test, revision and production. Based on the conclusion that thelegibility test for aspects of language, presentation, and graphic declared valid while the worthiness aspect of the module is very valid. So based on student legibility test module does not need to be revised.

Tourist place navigation application becomes more important for travelers, especially backpackers. Previous research had produced applications which can only show the route from the position of traveler to tourist place with map shown. The goal of the research is to use the radius and rating method that is still rare in the community to navigate tourist place. Output of the research is a GPS-based application that can display the search results of tourist sites based on rating and radius method, route from the traveler to the destination place, and description of the place. Development method used waterfall that contained user requirement, analysis, design, coding and testing, implementation, and maintenance. Conclusion of the research has shown that the developed application provided convenience in searching tourist places based on radius and rating, displaying route, and description of tourist places.

Abstract This study aimed at determining the design stage of the augmented reality-based learning media for sensors and transducers course. This study employed the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This article focuses on the design stage during the process of media development. The developed learning media can be used among vocational students by visualizing the sensor and transducer components like in the real laboratory setting. The design of the developed learning media contained application storyboards and animation storyboards for practicing the six sensors. This augmented reality learning media is designed to support online learning and students’ autonomous learning in the practical course of sensors and transducers.

Current technological developments have an impact on the application of technology in the field of education, especially in the learning process. SMA Negeri 1 Cirenti is a school located in Riau Province, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The learning process in SMA Negeri 1 Cirenti which has been done in a conventional way, namely the teacher explains the subject matter based on books and other supporting media such as material about the introduction of culture in Riau Province. The material is very important for students to preserve culture and customs in the future, and so that the material is more interesting, the use of technology as a learning media that can be accessed wherever students are. Smart phone technology can be utilized in the education sector by creating applications that are capable of supporting learning media. The purpose of this study is to design and create an Android-based mobile phone application as an application for learning introduction to culture in Riau Province. Making this application uses a prototype development method with eclipse software and java programming language, as well as for testing applications with the blackbox method. The results of this study are applications that introduce educative and interactive culture of Riau Province based on Android to students and teachers with applications that can be directly installed on a smart phone.

The problem discussed in this study is designing a system that can be used as an ASI bank. The Posyandu in Bantarsoka Village is very concerned about the importance of breastfeeding for babies. A lot of babies who are not breast fed are a concern. On the other hand, many breastfeeding mothers also have excess breast milk. The absence of a system that accommodates information about ASI at the Posyandu in Bantarsoka Village makes the Posyandu less optimal in helping its residents overcome the problem of breastfeeding distribution. With current technological developments, the idea emerged to create an information system for ASI management, which later could be a solution to the problems. The ASI Bank Management System aims to provide a forum for mothers who have been excess breast fed to be able to donate their breast milk to babies who do not get their mother's milk intake. This study uses the Waterfall method which is carried out with a structured approach, starting from the system requirement's stages, analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is an information system in the form on the ASI Bank website. With this system, it is hoped that it can help with the problem of breastfeeding distribution. The system created can properly manage and record breastfeeding ownership, who is the donors and recipients. By utilizing Internet technology, information dissemination can be accessed quickly and easily.

This Article is based on the waterfall model of software development ,according to the mechanism of information management and knowledge-sharing in the virtual community which has been constructed analyze the platform of information management and knowledge-sharing in the virtual community, from functional and technical to explain the platform; on the count of this analysis the paper make the functional design, and build three-tier architecture about the platform of information management and knowledge-sharing in the virtual community, describe teaching modules, exchange and sharing of modules of education system in two pairs of the ER design, the module function design; finally clarify test content for the platform.Software development of waterfalls model[1] essentially is a software development structure, the process have a series of stage sequence, begin from requirement analysis, design, test, setup, to maintenance, each stage generates circulating feedback, if the some stage appears a problem and then return to guarantee the integrality.

Abstract: Higher Education can exercise management autonomy, that is to evaluate using an information system independently. The case study taken in this study is the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK). So far, ITK has used a survey information system to evaluate ITK, but the information system is static so that it is not following the current needs of ITK. Based on that, this research is developing an evaluation information system at ITK so that this information system is expected to be able to monitor and evaluate the process of activities at ITK. The method used is the waterfall model. Based on the waterfall method, the methodology used in this research is start from the identification of the problem, then study the literature and enter the system building stage, namely the analysis, design, implementation and testing stages, as well as conclusions and suggestions. The results obtained are in the form of an information system for evaluating academic activities and services that have been approved by ITK on the http://evaluasi.itk.ac.id page.            Keywords: evaluation; information system; ITK  Abstrak: Perguruan Tinggi memiliki kemampuan untuk melaksanakan otonomi pengelolaan yaitu dievaluasi secara mandiri menggunakan sistem informasi. Studi kasus yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK). Selama ini ITK telah menggunakan sistem informasi survey untuk mengevaluasi ITK, namun sistem informasi tersebut bersifat statis sehingga telah tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan ITK saat ini. Berdasarkan hal itu, penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sistem informasi evaluasi di ITK sehingga diharapkan sistem informasi ini dapat memantau dan mengevaluasi proses kegiatan di ITK. Metode yang digunakan adalah waterfall model. Berdasarkan metode waterfall tersebut, maka metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dimulai dari identifikasi masalah, kemudian studi literatur dan memasuki tahap membangun sistem yaitu tahap analisis, desain, implementasi dan pengujian, serta kesimpulan dan saran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah berupa sistem informasi evaluasi kegiatan akademik dan layanan yang telah disetujui ITK di halaman http://evaluasi.itk.ac.id. Kata kunci: evaluasi; sistem informasi; ITK

Sidoarjo is one area that deserves to be put forward. The culture of batik and textile creation is interesting to explore further. With current technological developments, making data, information and matters related to information systems is very fast to be obtained and distributed to various layers of society, various circles, and various social layers. The purpose of this study was to find out how to design and build a website-based e-catalog as a medium of information for Batik Sari Kenongo. The research method used by the author in designing a website-based e-catalog as a collection of information media at Batik Sari Kenongo includes two methods, namely data collection methods and data collection methods. system development method. The result of this research with the existence of an e-catalog information system at Batik Sari Kenongo is that it is easy and fast for visitors to get information on Batik Sari Kenongo and with the implementation of the e-catalog, it is expected to be able to attract visitors to come to Batik Sari Kenongo. The conclusion of this study is that it is easy and fast for visitors to get information on Batik Sari Kenongo. With the implementation of the e-catalog, it is hoped that it will attract visitors to come to Batik Sari Kenongo.
