creative economy becomes one of priorities which is feasible to develop because the strength of creativeeconomy does not depend on the exploitation of natural resources instead of human resources. Art works,architecture, technology innovation, animation, and other creative products are derived from creativeideas of human thoughts. These phenomena have encouraged people’s enthusiasm to create innovationand require support from Creative Economy Agency which is specifically responsible for monitoring andguiding the creative economy.The Central Building of Creative Economy Agency is planned and designedin Surabaya as an effort to provide facilities for developing the Office of Creative Economy Agency.The facilities are designed in such a way so as to support Surabaya as the metropolitan city which isenvironmentally friendly and interesting for business doers particularly start-up business. Designing the buildingarchitecture is carried out through a series of phases beginning from project identification, precedent study,design program, concept, and development. The approach of Out of the Box theme is used as the point ofview which is different from the usual in terms of land order, shape, and space configuration. So as to producebuildings Is carried out by continuing and changing or transforming the office building from the standardized andrigid characters into flexible and relaxed office without altering the culture of behavior inside. The author compares several quantitative and qualitative approaches to forecasting to find appropriate methods to incorporate technological change in long-range forecasts of the world economy. A?number of long-run forecasts (with horizons over 10 years) for the world economy and national economies is reviewed to outline advantages and drawbacks for different ways to account for technological change. Various approaches based on their sensitivity to data quality and robustness to model misspecifications are compared and recommendations are offered on the choice of appropriate technique in long-run forecasts of the world economy in the presence of technological change.

The Sri Lankan Ministry of National Coexistence, Dialogue, and Official Languages published the work “People of Sri Lanka” in 2017. In this comprehensive publication, 21 invited Sri Lankan scholars introduced 19 different people’s groups to public readers in English, mainly targeted at a growing number of foreign visitors in need of understanding the cultural diversity Sri Lanka has to offer. This paper will observe the presentation of these different groups of people, the role music and allied arts play in this context. Considering the non-scholarly design of the publication, a discussion of the role of music and allied arts has to be supplemented through additional analyses based on sources mentioned by the 21 participating scholars and their fragmented application of available knowledge. In result, this paper might help improve the way facts about groups of people, the way of grouping people, and the way of presenting these groupings are displayed to the world beyond South Asia. This fieldwork and literature guided investigation should also lead to suggestions for ethical principles in teaching and presenting of culturally different music practices within Sri Lanka, thus adding an example for other case studies.

Discrimination of immigrant groups is an important social problem in many societies around the world. This study examines the moderating role of cultural diversity beliefs on the relation between dual identity and the intention to protest against immigrants’ discrimination. An experimental study was conducted among national samples of the three main immigrant-origin groups in the Netherlands. It was found that dual identity predicted the intention to protest against discrimination more strongly within a context of multicultural recognition compared to a context of assimilation or interculturalism. This demonstrates that multicultural recognition is a facilitating condition for dual identifiers to get involved in collective action for social change.

The research aimed at finding out two questions: 1). what are rural English teachers’ beliefs about English in a rural school in facing the modern era?; and2). to what extent is English important in a rural school related to its global role viewed from teachers’ belief?. This paper utilized qualitative method in the form of case study. The respondents of the study were three English teachers from a rural school. The data were gathered through observation and interview then analyzed through the interactive model which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion: drawing/verification. The data analyzed reveals that: 1). English is crucially needed in rural school to develop human resources and to lead students to get the latest information; 2). English takes the global role in the rural school for helping students to learn internet and computer, to balance human resources and natural resources and as a foundation for making the connection with other people around the world in the wider scope. Natural wealth is an invaluable resource so it must be preserved. Indonesia as an agrarian, archipelago and maritime country located on the equator is one of the countries in the world that has abundant natural resources compared to other countries. To manage these crops, the community and the government support each other in the process of conservation through a positive management process. Institutions related to the process are expected to be able to join hands with the community, so that the community, government and the state can enjoy the results in the long run. One way to help the community, especially in areas far from the center of government, or the community wherever located. Cooperative allianz is one of the solutions that is considered in accordance with the conditions and culture of the community. Because Cooperatives allianz are a form of business that has long existed and been run by Indonesian people since ancient times. As a supporting effort for the development of cooperatives, the government should provide support in the form of training for human resources manager of cooperatives and communities around cooperatives, so that the initial purpose of forming cooperatives can be achieved well and satisfactorily.

Tourism is an important economic activity in most countries around the world. As well as its direct economic impact,the industry has significant indirect and induced impacts.The outlook for the Tourism sector in 2017 remains robust and will continue to be at the forefront of wealth and employment creation in the global economy, despite the emergence of a number of challenging headwinds.In tourism, GDP growth is expected to accelerate to 3.8%, up from 3.1% in 2016. As nations seem to be looking increasingly inward, putting in place barriers to trade and movement of people, the role of Tourism becomes even more significant, as an engine of economic development and as a vehicle for sharing cultures, creating peace, and building mutual understanding.
