The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between the relationship between instructional videos and students' understanding of the learning material. Researchers create digital learning materials through video material (VBL), especially math in RPTRA. The researchers used correlation analysis to examine the relationship between the learning material in video form and the level of understanding of the students in the material. The method used by the researcher was to experiment with elementary-level children from various primary schools. Then, based on the experimental results, the correlation analysis test was performed to see the relationship between the student's understanding and the learning material through video. From the results of the assessment, it can be seen that the video material can help the understanding of the students and can also increase the motivation of the students in learning mathematics. Therefore, video learning can help students understand mathematics and help teachers teach mathematics in a more interesting way.

SummaryAs part of a population study on chronic lung disease in the Netherlands, an investigation is made of the relationship of both age and sex with indices describing the maximum expiratory flow-volume (MEFV) curve. To determine the relationship, non-linear canonical correlation was used as realized in the computer program CANALS, a combination of ordinary canonical correlation analysis (CCA) and non-linear transformations of the variables. This method enhances the generality of the relationship to be found and has the advantage of showing the relative importance of categories or ranges within a variable with respect to that relationship. The above is exemplified by describing the relationship of age and sex with variables concerning respiratory symptoms and smoking habits. The analysis of age and sex with MEFV curve indices shows that non-linear canonical correlation analysis is an efficient tool in analysing size and shape of the MEFV curve and can be used to derive parameters concerning the whole curve.

This article is a brief introduction to some of the issues that teachers of programming may find helpful. It starts by presenting a fairly idiosyncratic view of teaching programming which makes use of mechanistic analogies and points out some of the pitfalls. The article goes on to examine certain errors based on the misapplication of analogies as well as certain interaction errors. The main emphasis is on the notional machine both at the general level of understanding (and misunderstanding) the relationship of the terminal to the computer as such, as well as at the more specific level of understanding assignment. Notation and mistakes that poorly-designed languages can induce novices to commit are discussed.

ABSTRACTThis study is descriptive analitik, aims to describe the relationship of perceptions about the physiotherapy profession with the motivation to learn students of the Academy of Physiotherapy UKI. Data collection through questionnaires to students of Physiotherapy Academy UKI level 1, 2, and 3 with a sample of 53 students, then give a score of each statement of questionnaire. The result of correlation analysis shows that p = 0,584> α (0,05) ho is accepted, so there is no significant relationship between the two variables. To measure the closeness and intensity of the relationship between the two variables, test of correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. The result of correlation coefficient test (r) obtained by -0,077, lies below the value of -0.30 (very weak) thus can be said there is no relation between perception about physiotherapy profession with motivation learn student Akfis UKI. Result of linear regression analysis obtained equation: Y = 73,52 + (-0,088) X. This means that every 1 point decrease of perception value will influence motivation value equal to 0,088 times. Keywords: Perception, motivation, physiotherapy profession, and learning achievement. THE RELATIONSHIP OF STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING LEVEL OF ANIMAL MORPHOLOGY CHARACTERISTICS WITH THE ABILITY TO MEMORIZE ANIMAL LATIN NAMES IN GRADE 10 IPAAbstractAnimal taxonomy subjects often use animal's Latin names. Many students think that this subject is annoying because it is dominated by memorizing animal's Latin names, even though memorizing becomes a prerequisite for understanding. Meanwhile, most of the language materials memorized need an understanding before the memorizing process. This study aimed to find a relationship between the level of students' understanding of an animal's morphological characteristics and the ability to memorize animal's Latin names at the Xth grade of IPA students in SMAN 3 Jember. This study used a quantitative approach with a type of ex post facto. The test obtained the data. Then it was descriptively and inferentially analyzed by Kendall correlation. This research indicated that 56 students who answered test of the level of understanding animal's morphological characteristics and the ability to memorize animal's Latin names resulted in a correlation coefficient of score 0.673, and significance 0,000 < 0.05. Therefore, if the level of students’ understanding of an animal's morphological characteristics increased, the ability to memorize animal's Latin names at the Xth grade of IPA students in SMAN 3 Jember also increased, conversely.

This article describes the development and evaluation of an online workplace stress reduction toolkit for use by managers of 9-1-1 emergency communication centers (ECCs). A three-step process for development and testing of digital learning resources was used: (1) establishing need and focus through ECC manager stakeholder engagement, (2) pretesting of the toolkit with the target ECC manager audience, and (3) toolkit utilization and evaluation. The toolkit was developed in close partnership with stakeholders throughout the entire process. Toolkit usage was documented via registration data. The evaluation utilized an online survey that included closed and open-ended questions, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative thematic analysis. Over a 20-month period, 274 people registered for the toolkit and, of those, 184 (67%) accessed the content. Respondents to the evaluation survey (N = 156) scored the toolkit highly on satisfaction, self-efficacy, and perceived utility measures. Survey respondents reported intent to apply toolkit content through the following: providing organizational resources to help workers take better care of themselves (41%); creating a lower stress worksite environment (35%) and sharing resources with staff to (1) reduce stress (19%), (2) support conflict resolution (21%), and (3) prevent and/or stop bullying (17%). In delivering actionable content to ECC managers, the toolkit shows promise in addressing and mitigating occupational stress in ECCs. Further research needs to determine the relationship of this strategy for reducing ECC stress.

This chapter investigates the problem of connecting advanced domain knowledge (from geography educators in this instance) with the strong pedagogic descriptions provided by colleagues from the University of Southampton, as described in Chapter IX, and then adding to this the learning materials that together comprise a learning object. Specifically, the chapter describes our efforts to enhance our open-source concept mapping tool (ConceptVista) with a variety of tools and methods that support the visualization, integration, packaging, and publishing of learning objects. We give examples of learning objects created from existing course materials, but enhanced with formal descriptions of both domain content and pedagogy. We then show how such descriptions can offer significant advantages in terms of making domain and pedagogic knowledge explicit, browsing such knowledge to better communicate educational aims and processes, tracking the development of ideas amongst the learning community, providing richer indices into learning material, and packaging these learning materials together with their descriptive knowledge. We explain how the resulting learning objects might be deployed within next-generation digital libraries that provide rich search languages to help educators locate useful learning objects from vast collections of learning materials.

For women, the perineum is very important stretching and lubricating the perineum during labor can weaken the pelvic floor muscles in the vaginal wall, trauma to the perineum also causes discomfort and pain during sexual intercourse and an estimated 85% of maternal mothers experience birth canal lacerations (Kettle and Tohil 2008). One of the fears that are often felt by pregnant women, especially third timers, is fear of being torn and afraid of sewing. Especially for mothers who have experienced it, this can make their own trauma when facing the birth process later (USU, 2006). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parity to the degree of laceration of the birth pathway in Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. The design or design in this study is correlation analysis, with the "retrospective" approach. This study analyzed the relationship of parity with the degree of laceration of the birth path in Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. In this study, the population was all mothers giving birth at Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. The samples in this study were all mothers giving birth at Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. In this study by looking at the last 1 year data. In this study the independent variable is parity. In this study the dependent variable is the degree of laceration of the birth canal. Based on the calculation results of SPSS 11.5 for Windows, it was found that there was no relationship between parity and laceration degrees in the Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan Subdistrict, Pacitan Regency, from the results of probability (sig. 2-tailed) 0.22 <0.05.The researcher hopes that the mother will seek information and increase knowledge about the labor process, so that with good knowledge will reduce lacerations on the birth canal
