TQM is one of the essential factors in organizational activities. This research aims to determine how TQM elements and organizational culture can lead to operational performance in a mineral water manufacturer in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. Aside from that, researchers also measure how TQM elements, organizational culture, and operational performance can affect corporate performance. The respondents are 50 people from staff, suppliers, and consumers of the manufacturer. The method used in this research is a quantitative method that uses path analysis. The results showed that there is a significant impact between soft TQM elements towards operational performance. The results also showed a significant effect between hard TQM elements, organizational culture, and operational performance towards corporate performance. This research differs from other studies because the model analysis correlates organizational culture with TQM elements in a mineral water company.

AbstractInterviews with 10 marketing managers of 10 four-wheeled motor vehicle brand in Jakarta that have the highest sales in January up to April 2017 show that the managers do not have enough cognitive understanding of knowledge management (KM). However, the managers, in general, are very eloquent when discussing about practical business aspects such as supply-chain, business competition, products, organizational culture, and company’s performance. Based on previous research, KM was placed as independent or intervening or moderating variable on company’s performance. The aim of this study is to analyze the role of KM on company’s performance. By using stratified random sampling, linear regression, moderated regression, and path analysis, it can be concluded that KM can be as independent, moderating, or intervening variable. KM becomes similar to a “bottleneck” when the managers do not know well what and how to implement KM. Therefore, this study suggests that needed further researches are needed to explore the role of KM and to understand how KM can be implemented in a company in order to sustainably improve the company’s performance.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance and the role of job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research used an explanatory research design. The population of this research were all employees of Bank Indonesia Jember Representative Office consisting of 69 organic and non organic employees. The type of data analysis of this research was path analysis. The result of this research showed that organizational culture (X) having a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (Z) of 50,2%, organizational culture (X) having a positive and significant effect on performance (Y) of 29,2%, job satisfaction (Z) has a positive and significant effect on performance (Y) by 34,4%, organizational culture (X) has a positive and significant effect on performance (Y) through job satisfaction (Z) of 46,4%.

The performance of an employee plays an essential role in an organization because it contributes to the achievement of the performance of every organizational function. Several previous studies showed that human resource competencies and organizational culture can affect employee performance. This study aimed to test and analyze the competencies of human resources and organizational culture on employee performance at Bio Farma both partially or simultaneously. This study was conducted using a quantitative method. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to employees of Bio Farma with samples taken of 300 employees. The research results were tested using path analysis. The results show that human resource competencies and organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance at Bio Farma, either partially or simultaneously.

The contribution of organizational culture to the organization which includes the uniqueness of values, behavior, and psychology is needed by the organization. It also includes trust, experience, ways of thinking, and organizational expectations. Improving employee behavior into organizational citizenship behavior is needed by every organization. To bring OCB to employees, a well-formed commitment is needed. This study uses a quantitative approach to test 3 hypotheses using path analysis to see the role of mediation. Respondents numbered 169 in this study. The results found in this study are that mediators play a maximum role between organizational culture and OCB.

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of leadership on the operational performance of food processing SMEs in Punjab, Pakistan. This study also examines whether the organizational culture plays a mediating role in the relationship between leadership and operational performance. Previous studies explained that visionary leadership and dynamic organizational culture are the key factors for the organization’s success that provide a competitive environment and had an impact on the organization’s performance. The data were collected from 288 food processing SMEs through purposive with snowball sampling techniques. A structured questionnaire was employed for data collection from the Owners/Managers of the food processing SMEs. The Partial Least Square (PLS) approach was used to test the proposed hypothesis. The empirical investigations show that leadership is positively related to organizational culture and operational performance. The study also found a mediating role of organizational culture between leadership and operational performance by adopting the Hayes process of mediation. The findings of the study will help food manufacturers in improving the operational performance of their SMEs. Moreover, by practicing transformational leadership styles, and adopting the quality culture, SMEs can get a competitive advantage.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of organizational commitment in mediating the influence of organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This research was conducted at the Investment Office and PTSP in Badung Regency. The number of samples used in this study were 135 employees. The sampling technique is done by saturated sampling. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and organizational commitment positively and significantly mediated culture organization of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) at the Badung Regency Investment and PTSP Office. Efforts to improve organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employees, organizations should be able to improve organizational culture by increasing calm in the work environment. This reseach aims to examined the role of Self-Control as a mediating variable in the effect of Academic Perfection on Academic Procrastination. Quantitative method was used with data collection techniques by online questionnaire’s. Population in this research were students of Economics Education Faculty of Economics UNJ on 2013-2016 all concentration which they currently doing their S1 thesis. 145 people to be the sample were counted with proportional random sampling techniques. Techniques of data analysis used test for requirement analysis, test for hyphothesis and path analysis. The result of test for requirements analysis showed that data was normal and linearly distributed. Test for hypothesis result concluded all of them were accepted and path analysis result showed Self-Control was able to mediate dependents and independents variables. The ability of Achievement Motivation, Perfectionism and Self-Control to define Academic Procrastination are 31,4%, while the rest were influenced by other variables that are not used. From this research concluded that were need for developing interpersonal skill to avoid procrastination behavior specially on academic realm.
