Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan panduan pembelajaran yang layak digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar biologi di tinjau dari aspek materi/isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan; (2) mengetahui keefektifan panduan dalam memunculkan karakter positif peserta didik (bersahabat/komunikatif, tanggung jawab, dan peduli lingkungan) selama kegiatan; dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman lichen dan tumbuhan paku serta lingkungannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data hasil penilaian panduan, keterlaksanaan kegiatan, dan kemunculan indikator karakter peserta didik dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Saran pengembangan produk dan saran untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Data skor pemahaman dinalaisis dengan teknik gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) panduan belajar layak digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar biologi ditinjau dari aspek materi/isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan; (2) panduan belajar secara efektif memunculkan karakter peserta didik (bersahabat/komunikatif, tanggung jawab, dan peduli lingkungan) selama berkegiatan; dan (3) panduan belajar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman lichen dan tumbuhan paku serta lingkungannya. Kata kunci: panduan, edutourism   DEVELOPING EDUTOURISM GUIDES HUTAN WISATA TLOGO NIRMOLO TO ACTUALIZE STUDENT CHARACTER OF GRADE X Abstract This study aims to: (1) developing a suitable learning guides which used as an alternative source of learning biology in terms of the material/content, presentation, linguistic, and graphics components; (2) determine the effectiveness of the guides in eliciting positive behavior of students (friendly/communicative, responsibility, and care for the environment) during activities; and (3) determine student’s improvement understanding of diversity of lichen and ferns as well as the environment. This study is a research and development with the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data assessment the guides, activities enforceability, and the actualization of a character indicator learners analyzed quantitatively. Product development advice and suggestions for the implementation of analyzed qualitatively. The results show that: (1) the learning guides was considered very good in terms of material/content, presentation, linguistics, and graphics components; (2) during the activities, learners could actualize character of friendly/communicative, responsible, and care for the environment very positively; and (3) the learning guides could improve learner’s understanding of biodiversity of lichen and fern as well as its surroundings. New Product Development (NPD) is vital in assisting Research and Development (R&D) based organizations to adapt to the changes in markets and technology for competitive advantage. Ensuring the success of new products and optimization of new product performance is critical and essential for Research and Development based organizations.  Hence, this study is carried out to explore does organizational background in term of company’s ownership (i.e. local or multinational companies) and operational scales (i.e. number of Research and Development staffs) affect NPD performance of Research and Development companies in Malaysia. In line with this, 8 New Product Development performance attributes were identified from literature review. These attributes were subsequently formulated into a survey questionnaire and responded by 186 respondents. Thereafter, the effect of organizational ownership and operational scale toward NPD performance are examined separately via Independent Sample t-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Finding from the study revealed that the level of NPD performance in multinational R&D companies is higher than local R&D companies. Findings from this research also implied that NPD performance can be further improved by increasing number of R&D staffs.

<p>Motivasi belajar siswa SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar fisika masih rendah dibandingkan saat mengikuti kegiatan belajar mata pelajaran produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menentukan karakteristik modul pembelajaran elektronik berbasis kontekstual untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa; 2) menentukan kelayakan modul pembelajaran elektronik berbasis kontekstual untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa; 3) menganalisis efektivitas modul elektronik fiska berbasis kontekstual terhadap motivasi belajar siswa; 4) menganalisis efektivitas modul elektronik fisika berbasis kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Pengembangan modul pembelajaran elektronik berbasis kontekstual ini termasuk jenis penelitian <em>Research and Development </em>(R&amp;D) dengan menggunakan 4-D Model Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: tahap pendefinisian (<em>define</em>), tahap perencanaan (<em>design</em>), tahap pengembangan (<em>develop</em>), dan tahap penyebaran (<em>disseminate</em>). Modul divalidasi oleh 2 dosen ahli (ahli materi dan ahli media), 1 guru berkualifikasi magister (ahli bahasa), 2 <em>peer reviewer</em> dan 2 <em>reviewer. </em>Modul pembelajaran elektronik berbasis kontekstual yang dikembangkan diujicoba terbatas pada 10 orang siswa kelas XII TKR 1. Setelah direvisi, modul pembelajaran elektronik berbasis kontekstual diujicoba skala besar pada 35 siswa kelas XI TKR 4. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) karakteristik modul elektronik fisika berbasis kontekstual yaitu berupa modul elektronik yang menggunakan tujuh komponen pendekatan kontekstual yang mampu mengaitkan materi pelajaran fisika dengan materi pelajaran produktif; 2) modul elektronik fisika berbasis kontekstual layak digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi dan dianalisis menggunakan <em>cut off score </em>dengan persentase keidealan 88,0 %, hasil angket keterbacaan modul oleh siswa modul layak digunakan (80,52%) dan hasil respons guru dalam tahap penyebaran modul layak digunakan (91,67 %); 3) modul elektronik fisika berbasis kontekstual efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil N-<em>gain score </em>sebesar 0,61 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang; 4)  modul elektronik fisika berbasis kontekstual efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa berdasarkan hasil N-<em>gain score </em>sebesar 0,55 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang dan 77% siswa memperoleh nilai KKM.</p>

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya peserta didik menjadi murid yang pasif serta kurang termotivasi terhadap metode pembelajaran konveksional yang biasa digunakan oleh guru, yang mana pembelajaran dilakukan menyampaikan materi secara lisan lalu mengerjakan soal evaluasi. Dari paparan permasalahan tersebut penelitian dilakukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang mampu memacu peserta didik agar lebih bersemangat dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian pengembanagn ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yakni Research and Development (R&D) serta model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Development dan Disseminate). Uji coba terbatas sebanyak 20 peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan guna meninjau kelayakan media jika diketahui dari penyajian media dan kesesuaian materi, efektivitas media, kepraktisan media serta guna menganalisis respon peserta didik dan perbandingan hasil belajar ketika sebelum dan setelah mengakses media dengan desain uji coba Pre-Test dan Post-Test. Sedangkan hasil belajar dianalisa melalui uji N-Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas diperoleh yakni media pembelajaran diketahui layak karena mendapatkan hasil sebesar 85,7%, efektif sebab diperoleh skor 100%, dan praktis dengan presentase 100% apabila digunakan. Selain itu diketahui peserta didik merespon positif dengan menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran perpajakan memberikan rasa antusias jika digunakan. Hasil belajar juga meningkat secara signifikan setelah mengakses media pembelajaran perpajakan.

Schistosomiasis is an acute and chronic disease that affects over 200 million people worldwide, and with over 700 million people estimated to be at risk of contracting this disease, it is a pressing issue in global health. However, research and development (R&D) to develop new approaches to preventing, diagnosing, and treating schistosomiasis has been relatively limited. Praziquantel, a drug developed in the 1970s, is the only agent used in schistosomiasis mass drug administration (MDA) campaigns, indicating a critical need for a diversified therapeutic pipeline. Further, gaps in the vaccine and diagnostic pipelines demonstrate a need for early-stage innovation in all areas of schistosomiasis product R&D. As a platform for public-private partnerships (PPPs), the WIPO Re:Search consortium engages the private sector in early-stage R&D for neglected diseases by forging mutually beneficial collaborations and facilitating the sharing of intellectual property (IP) assets between the for-profit and academic/non-profit sectors. The Consortium connects people, resources, and ideas to fill gaps in neglected disease product development pipelines by leveraging the strengths of these two sectors. Using WIPO Re:Search as an example, this article highlights the opportunities for the PPP model to play a key role in the elimination of schistosomiasis.

This study developed the attitudes on global awareness instrument of senior high school’s students. It used Research and Development (R&D) design which consisted of preliminary phase, product development, and product implementation (field test). The data were collected from 20 panels, the first phase of field test which consist of 250 students, and the second phase of field test which consist of 265 students . The data were analyzed by using factor analysis with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) method. The result of this study indicated that the standardized attitudes on global awareness instrument consist of 55 items with cognition, conation, and affection dimension with Composite Reliability (CR) was 0,933 and Variance Extracted (VE) was 0,824.

 The development of learning tools for Environmental Education to develop students' environmental literacy skills are indispensable. Methods of research and development using 4-D Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The result of the development of the device include syllabi, lesson plans, modules, and assessment instruments tested in class IV A Lesson Study by performing well. The trial results actually (validation testing) with pre-experiment (class IV B) can improve the literacy skills of students include aspects of environmental knowledge, attitudes, and skills and habituation. The trial results actually (class IV B) obtained N-Score Gain knowledge and attitude tests of 0.64 (medium), and N-Gain Score of the attitude scale questionnaire 0.67 (moderate). While aspects of the student's skills include practical activities seed, move into the growing medium, and the practice of making compost with N-Gain Score of 0.54 (medium) and 0.69 (moderate). Activity habituation maintain plants and credible form of checks compost with N-Gain Score of 0.48 (moderate). The results of research and development is expected to be utilized by the school and can be distributed to other schools.

<p align="center"><em>Cryptography is a branch of mathematics. Asymmetric algorithms such as RSA, including the type of cryptography that is more widely used to be implemented in everyday life because it has an algorithm that is not easy to be misused by others. However, the encryption and decryption process of RSA requires quite a long time. For this reason, RSA - CRT emerged. In this study a time comparison between the RSA algorithm and the RSA-CRT Base On Computer is done. The purpose of this study was to determine the execution time of the RSA-CRT algorithm using PHP.</em></p><p><em>This research uses the Research and Development or R&amp;D method, with the R&amp;D method created by the product development RSA-CRT algorithm application from UIN Walisongo Semarang based on computer. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is that although the manual calculation of the RSA-CRT algorithm takes longer than the others in this case RSA. But have a faster time when using PHP.</em></p><p align="center"> </p>
