The extensive use of tape recordings has been employed to assist in training science teachers. Benefits observed included an increase in personal awareness of the classroom atmosphere for both teacher and listener, an increase in the quality of teaching, and an increase in the quality and efficiency of supervision. The tape exchange system, between student teacher and college supervisor, was used to supplement regular classroom visits. Besides providing the student teacher with the operational skills and potential innovative classroom use of recorders and tapes, the exchange program allowed the teacher to share his best teaching efforts with his peers and the college supervisor. The college supervisor was able to benefit by using the “dead time” resulting from travel between schools to listen to the tapes and become familiar with the classroom environment and the progress for that particular student teacher. Each tape included an introduction and the objectives for the lesson taught, a recording of the actual class taught, and the recorded comments of the college supervisor.

AbstractThe research entitled Implementation Evaluation of the Results of the 2019 Tsanawiyah Madrasah Teacher Training was conducted in 10 BDK regions. The results showed that after the training, teachers experienced a very high increase in competence, obtaining scores above 80. Generally, science teachers, alumni of education, and training felt that after attending the training, there is an increase in incompetence in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Among the three competency supporting variables, the attitude variable has the highest contribution, followed by the knowledge and skills variables. The increase in the high competence of science teachers after attending this training was observed by their ability to implement them in learning. However, the results of this training have not had a significant impact on improving the quality of madrasas, because, in most madrasas, the results of training are still challenging to implement due to many factors, including unavailability of laboratory facilities, the uneven ability of science teachers both in learning and in utilization. science equipment, the number of science teachers who have received training is still very few, and madrasah policies that do not support science learning.

Central to the educative process is the transaction which takes place between the learner and the teacher. The main concern, therefore, of teacher education programmes is to improve the quality of future transactions by helping teachers (in-service and in-training) to understand the learner, the dynamics of learning, and their own roles in the transaction. The case study presented in this article is based on the premise that student-teachers will continue to grope in the dark until they have developed the necessary understandings and insights. It is imperative that our student-teachers receive such help as will enable them to reach the stage where teaching becomes a deliberate meaningful act. This breakthrough can be quickly effected when the student-teacher is made to come to grips with the realities of life in the classroom directly through actual teaching, and indirectly through appropriate room directly through actual teaching, and indirectly through appropriate supporting materials in the local idiom, which reflect circumstances and experiences with which he is familar.

Initiative is an attitude that makes a person compelled to do something without any outside force. Every student-teacher should take initiative in order to teach and serve their students well. This student-teacher attitude appeared to develop during the students’ first internship. By taking initiative, student-teachers can learn more and enjoy every process of learning outside the classroom environment, which currently happens directly in the school. In addition, through this attitude, student-teachers can more easily interact with and adapt to the school environment in which they are placed to carry out this first internship. In line with the development of the attitude and character of the student teachers, the call to service as a teacher is even more fortified.

BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Inisiatif merupakan sikap yang membuat seseorang terdorong untuk melakukan sesuatu tanpa adanya perintah terlebih dahulu. Computerized auditory training (CAT) is a convenient, low-cost approach to improving communication of individuals with hearing loss or other communicative disorders. A number of CAT programs are being marketed to patients and audiologists. The present literature review is an examination of evidence for the effectiveness of CAT in improving speech perception in adults with hearing impairments. Six current CAT programs, used in 9 published studies, were reviewed. In all 9 studies, some benefit of CAT for speech perception was demonstrated. Although these results are encouraging, the overall quality of available evidence remains low, and many programs currently on the market have not yet been evaluated. Thus, caution is needed when selecting CAT programs for specific patients. It is hoped that future researchers will (a) examine a greater number of CAT programs using more rigorous experimental designs, (b) determine which program features and training regimens are most effective, and (c) indicate which patients may benefit from CAT the most.

Quality outcomes from vocational education and training (VET) are fundamental to ensuring a skilled workforce and supporting a productive economy. The quality of vocational training from the demand’s perspective is defined as meeting the customer specification, needs or requirements. Using the method of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Multiple Regression Analysis to get the analytical results of 275 respondents as graduates of University of Transport and Communication, University of Transport Technology (the two universities training on transportation in the North of Vietnam), the results show that factors are measured by the observed variables in the study that ensure reliability and relevance. The descriptive statistics result of vocational training quality is 3.28, while all independent variables are at average level (between 3.1 to 3.48) with the highest value related to the quality of the teacher and the lowest are facilities and training programs and management capacity of university. However, the regression results show that the qualification of the teacher, material facilities and training program, management capacity and job opportunities at the training school do not affect the quality of the training while “Learners-NH” have a great positive effect and the labor market information has a negative effect on the training quality of the school significantly. Base on those data, some policy recommendations have been given out in order to improve the training quality of transport technology universities in the north of Vietnam in particular and the vocational training quality of Vietnam in general.
