AbstractThe research entitled Implementation Evaluation of the Results of the 2019 Tsanawiyah Madrasah Teacher Training was conducted in 10 BDK regions. The results showed that after the training, teachers experienced a very high increase in competence, obtaining scores above 80. Generally, science teachers, alumni of education, and training felt that after attending the training, there is an increase in incompetence in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Among the three competency supporting variables, the attitude variable has the highest contribution, followed by the knowledge and skills variables. The increase in the high competence of science teachers after attending this training was observed by their ability to implement them in learning. However, the results of this training have not had a significant impact on improving the quality of madrasas, because, in most madrasas, the results of training are still challenging to implement due to many factors, including unavailability of laboratory facilities, the uneven ability of science teachers both in learning and in utilization. science equipment, the number of science teachers who have received training is still very few, and madrasah policies that do not support science learning. AbstrakPenelitian berjudul Evaluasi Implementasi Hasil Diklat Teknis Guru Madrasah TsanawiyahTahun 2019 yang dilakukan di 10 wilayah BDK, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pasca diklat guru mengalami peningkatan kompetensi sangat tinggi, dengan memperoleh skor di atas 80. Umumnya para guru IPA alumni diklat merasakan bahwa setelah mengikuti diklat, ada peningkatan kompetensi baik dari sisi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Diantara ketiga variabel pendukung kompetensi tersebut, variabel sikap mempunyai kontribusi tertinggi, disusul variabel pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Peningkatan kompetensi guru IPA yang tinggi setelah mengikuti diklat ini sebenarnya juga diikuti oleh kemampuannya mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Namun demikian, hasil diklat ini belum berdampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu madrasah, karena pada sebagian besar madrasah, hasil diklat masih sulit diimplementasikan karena terkendala banyak faktor antara lain: sarana laboratorium yang belum tersedia, kemampuan guru IPA yang belum merata baik dalam pembelajaran maupun dalam pemanfaatan peralatan IPA, jumlah guru IPA yang pernah memperoleh diklat masih sangat

This research aims to identify the difficulties of science learning among sixth grade students as determined and estimated by science teachers and students. To achieve the aims of this research, the researcher depends on the analysis descriptive approach. It identifies the percentages of the difficulty aspects included in questionnaires. For this purpose, the researcher designed two templates of questionnaires. First questionnaire consists of 20 items regarding the difficulties of science learning from students' perspective. Second questionnaire consists of 22 items regarding impediments of science learning from teachers' perspective. The validity and reliability of questionnaires were established. A random sample of 24 science teachers and 295 sixth grade students was used in Mubarak Al-kabeer area. The study was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2018-2019.The findings reveal that there are no significant differences in the responses of students in different schools about the difficulties of science learning listed in the questionnaires such as the required topics quantity that forms a common difficulty for the student and the teacher in the same time , and some topics that needs longer time more than the given time in the lesson plans to explain and simplify them for the students. In light of the findings of the research were presented a number of recommendations and proposals, including: the need for attention to quantity and quality of academic content, where suitable for students in the sixth grade level and the specificity of the stage they are going through, the need to use teaching methods, activities and teaching aids, and to train in-service teachers on modern trends in science education.

Natural Sciences learning laboratory activities are an integral part of teaching and learning activities, This shows how important the role of laboratory activities to achieve the goals of science education. Through laboratory activities, students will be given the opportunity to encourage curiosity and the desire to try, test and reason the theories obtained. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of a science laboratory in SMP Negeri 4 Sojol. The research method uses qualitative methods and descriptive analysis. The research subjects were the head of the laboratory and the science subject teacher and the students at SMP Negeri 4 Sojol. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and student learning outcomes.  Based on the results of the study, the availability of natural science practicum tools in SMP Negeri 4 Sojol, the average availability of practical tools and materials 68.33% classified as complete categories, the average presentation of the feasibility of practical tools and materials 90.67% included in the excellent category based on the Ministry of Education number 24 of 2007. the effectiveness of practicum implementation in SMP Negeri 4 Sojol is classified as effective category with an average presentation of practicum at 85%. Coupled with an average increase in cognitive competencies average preetest 58 increase in posttest by as much as 87 in addition to the average value of competence in the areas of psychomotor average preetest obtained 60 and posttest 90 showed a significant increase competency knowledge and skills of learners. Success in the cognitive domain will also have a positive impact on the development of the psychomotor domain (skills) of students. Management of laboratory facilities and infrastructure planning in improving the quality of learning in schools must be planned by the head of the laboratory, planning science teachers by preparing learning tools and identifying the subject matter to be practiced in the laboratory, laboratory administration governance supported by good organization from the leadership of policy makers in school. Implementation of laboratory facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of learning in schools including procurement, inventory, storage, structuring, use, and maintenance. Supervision carried out by the principal is in accordance with the provisions, to be more efficient the school should make a program or schedule of supervision processes to be more controlled and run well and smoothly.

To improve the quality of learning and reflect on learning outcomes are things that really improve science teacher profesionalism. That is the biggest motivation for Universitas Negeri Padang’s community service team to make a training session about science learning on Padang Pariaman’s. Understanding the classroom action reaserch, science teachers can solve the learning problems and write their own scientific work. The purpose of this training are teachers can make their own classroom action research and do their own research untill they can make theirown journals. The result shows that the training was good and reach the target that reaserchers make. 16th proposal finished are more than enough. Proposal are the result from traning, with a lot of revition before the proposal really finished.

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan melaksanakan pendampingan pengembangan alat peraga mekanik aplikatif bagi guru IPA. Sebagai pendukung alat peraga yang dikembangkan, dalam kegiatan PKM ini juga dilakukan pendampingan pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Mitra kegiatan PKM, yaitu Madrasah Aliyah NW Sepit, Kecamatan Keruak, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, dan anggota kelompok guru mitra yang terlibat sebanyak 12 guru IPA pada rumpun mata pelajaran fisika, biologi, dan kimia. Metode pelaksanaan PKM melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dirinci menjadi empat tahap, mulai dari persiapan, pelatihan dan pendampingan, konsultasi dan presentasi produk hasil pendampingan, sampai dengan implementasi produk hasil pendampingan ke peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Hasil kegiatan PKM secara umum, yaitu guru IPA sebagai kelompok mitra telah memiliki kompetensi dalam mengembangkan alat peraga mekanik aplikatif dan LKPD berbasis keterampilan proses sains sebagai pendukung implementasi alat peraga ke peserta didik. Produk alat peraga aplikatif yang dikembangkan guru menjadi fondasi pembelajaran inovatif guru IPA dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang atraktif dan menarik untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih optimal. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini dapat menjadi referensi pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM serupa untuk dapat dilaksanakan pada kelompok guru IPA di kabupaten lain sebagai kegiatan suplemen bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran IPA di kelas. Kata kunci: Alat peraga; kelompok guru IPA; lembar kerja peserta didik; mekanika aplikatif. ABSTRACTThis community service (PKM) activity aims to assist in the development of applicative mechanical props for science teachers. As a support for the props that were developed, in this activity there was also assistance in the development of student worksheets (LKPD) based on science process skills. PKM activity partners, namely Madrasah Aliyah NW Sepit, kecamatan Keruak, kabupaten Lombok Timur, and members of the group of partner teachers involved were 12 science teachers in a group of physics, biology, and chemistry subjects. The methods of implementing PKM through training and mentoring activities are carried out in four stages, starting from preparation, training and assistance, consultation and presentation of mentored products, to implementation of mentoring products to students in science learning. The result of PKM activities is that science teachers as a partner group have been competent in developing applicative mechanical props and LKPD based on science process skills as a support for the implementation of props to the students. The applicative props product developed by the teacher becomes the foundation of innovative learning of science teachers in creating attractive learning processes to achieve optimal learning outcomes. The results of these PKM activities can be a reference for the implementation of similar PKM activities to be carried out in groups of science teachers in other districts as a supplementary activity for teachers in improving the quality of the science learning process in the classroom. Keywords: Applicative mechanical props; student worksheets; science teachers group

ABSTRAKMayoritas guru IPA Fisika saat ini masih menggunakan cara-cara konvensional dalam pembelajaran IPA Fisika. Pendekatan pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kelebihan dan pendekatan ini adalah dapat mengajarkan materi yang relatif banyak dalam waktu yang singkat, tetapi pembelajaran ini memperlakukan siswa hanya sebagai objek sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan hanya menerima pengetahuan dari gurunya saja. Pembelajaran konvensional hanya menyajikan materi IPA Fisika secara tekstual sehingga siswa kesulitan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA Fisika dibutuhkan pembelajaran yang merangsang siswa untuk melakukan pengamatan, penyelidikan serta mengolah informasi sehingga pada akhirnya siswa dapat memahami konsep secara bermakna. Pembelajaran yang menekankan keaktifan siswa dan berpusat pada siswa merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran IPA Fisika.Salah satu proses pembelajaran yang sesuai adalah pembelajaran Cooperative Learning.Oleh karena itu penulis perlumelakukan penelitian tindakan dengan judul Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar IPA Fisika dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Kelas XI TKR SMK Negeri 1 Narmada  Kab.Lombok Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 Kata kunci: problem possing; cooperative learning; prestasi belajar. ABSTRACTThe majority of Physics Science teachers currently still use conventional methods in learning Science Physics. This learning approach is carried out using lecture and question and answer methods. The advantage of this approach is that it can teach relatively a lot of material in a short time, but this learning treats students only as objects so that students tend to be passive and only receive knowledge from the teacher. Conventional learning only presents physics science material textually so that students have difficulty applying it in everyday life. To improve the quality of science learning physics requires learning that stimulates students to observe, investigate and process information so that in the end students can understand concepts meaningfully. Learning that emphasizes student activity and is student-centered is one of the efforts that can be made to improve the quality of learning science physics. One of the appropriate learning processes is cooperative learning. Therefore, the authors need to conduct action research with the title Improving Physics Science Learning Achievement by Applying Cooperative Learning Model Class XI TKR SMK Negeri 1 Narmada Kab. By having a challenge to escalate quality at course and training institutions (LKP) which is appropriate to 8 National Education Standards, it is necessary to have an approach related to managementfunctions; planning, implementation, evaluation and improvement on institution management related to quality. Due to that reason, Plan Do Check and Act (PDCA) approach is implemented toward courseand training institutions. Problem statement proposed is in what ways Plan Do Check and Act (PDCA) approach can escalate effectiveness in supervising the quality control at course and training institutions.The objective is to describe the implementation of PDCA approach at the institutions. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting data observation to collect the data, interviews, andsome related literature. PDCA approach which is useful for supervisors, can be used as work patterns, to implement quality changes, measure them, and improve the quality sustainably. Activities run by supervisors as quality controllers are making a commitment together with managers, planning, implementing, and assessing. The extensive use of tape recordings has been employed to assist in training science teachers. Benefits observed included an increase in personal awareness of the classroom atmosphere for both teacher and listener, an increase in the quality of teaching, and an increase in the quality and efficiency of supervision. The tape exchange system, between student teacher and college supervisor, was used to supplement regular classroom visits. Besides providing the student teacher with the operational skills and potential innovative classroom use of recorders and tapes, the exchange program allowed the teacher to share his best teaching efforts with his peers and the college supervisor. The college supervisor was able to benefit by using the “dead time” resulting from travel between schools to listen to the tapes and become familiar with the classroom environment and the progress for that particular student teacher. Each tape included an introduction and the objectives for the lesson taught, a recording of the actual class taught, and the recorded comments of the college supervisor.

Di dalam GBHN telah ditetapkan bahwa pemerintah bertekad untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan , mulai dari pendidikan tingkat dasar sampai dengan pendidikan tinggi. Salah satu komponen penting yang menentukan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dan mendapat perhatian yang sangat besar oleh Menristekdikti adalah dosen, karena dosen adalah subjek terpenting yang menentukan mutu proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi, dan pada gilirannya merekalah yang dapat menentukan kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan. Di tingkat pendidikan tinggi upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan manajemen pendidikan serta kualitas output pendidikan itu sendiri telah dilakukan dengan berbagai cara. Salah satu masalah utama yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan tinggi adalah masalah peningkatan kualitas dosen perguruan tinggi swasta pada khususnya dan perguruan tinggi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia pada umumnya. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas dosen salah satunya ditentukan oleh kemampuan mereka didalam mengajar. Di perguruan tinggi, mengajar merupakan pekerjaan profesional yang membutuhkan pendidikan dan pelatihan khusus. Oleh karena itu seorang dosen perlu menguasai berbagai kemampuan, baik kemampuan di bidang ilmu maupun kemampuan mengajar. At the tertiary level, efforts to improve the quality of the process and management of education and the quality of the output of education itself have been carried out in various ways. One of the main problems facing the world of higher education is the problem of improving the quality of lecturers of private tertiary institutions in particular and tertiary tertiary institutions in Indonesia in general. To improve the quality of lecturers, one of which is determined by their ability to teach. In college, teaching is a professional job that requires special education and training. Therefore, a lecturer needs to master a variety of abilities, both abilities in the field of science and teaching ability. All of these abilities need to be integrated into a complete insight when a lecturer teaches in front of the class.

There were still many teachers who had difficulty making student learning assessment instruments. The orientation of the learning carried out was still at the level of low-level thinking (remembering, memorizing, and understanding) so that students had low knowledge. This study aimed to develop an instrument for assessing science learning outcomes on Theme 8 based on Higher Order Thinking Skills. This type of research was development research. The model used in this study was 4D which is divided into four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The techniques used in collecting data were observation, interviews, document recording, rating scales, and tests. The instrument used in collecting data was a questionnaire. The results of the study will be analyzed for validity, reliability, discriminating power, and level of difficulty, quality of distractors, practitioner responses, and student responses. Instruments designed to collect data were tested first to find out the instrument's validity. The results of the research were the analysis of the content validity test and the items were in very high criteria. Based on the results of the reliability test, the instrument being tested had a very high consistency. In the analysis of the quality of the distractor, the instrument functions well. In the analysis of practitioners' responses and student responses, the category was very good. It can be concluded that the instrument that assesses the science learning outcomes of theme 8 based on Higher Order Thinking Skills was valid and feasible to be used as an assessment instrument for students.

Abstract: The Biology Science Practicum has a role in improving the quality of science learning, especially Biology material, as well as improving science process skills and students' understanding of science concepts. The Biology Science Practicum requires the availability of plant and animal specimens as the main object of observation, but this is not widely available in the Science Laboratory of SMPN 20 Mataram, thus causing the Biology Science practicum not to be carried out properly. The purpose of this community service is to increase the understanding and skills of teachers to make specimens of preserved plants and animals. The method of implementing community service was to provide training for teachers to make specimens of preserved plants and animals which was conducted in September 2020. The training was guided by lecturers, education staff (laboratory assistants), and students. Questionnaires were given to training participants to evaluate the effectiveness of community service programs. The result of the training was that there were twenty teachers who came from science teachers and other subjects involved in training in making insectariums, herbariums, Mollusca shell preserves, and animal wet preserves, and participants responded that the training had increased the knowledge and skills of teachers in making plant specimens and animal. The conclusion is that the training carried out by providing samples of preserved specimens of living things, demonstrations and assistance in making preserved specimens have an impact on increasing participants' understanding and skills in making preserved specimens of plants and animals. Keywords: Dry and wet preservation of living things; Herbarium; insectarium; Biology practicum; Plant and animal specimens.
