The comparative study on analysis of RCC Frame structure supported on a single column and multi-column is done in this project. Cost comparison , Ground space comparison is done between RCC single column and RCC multi column structure .This paper presents structural modelling, stress, bending moment, shear force and displacement, deflection design considerations for a structure and it is analysed using STAAD-Pro. Various steps involved in designing of RCC Frame structure supported on a single column and multi-column by using software are Geometric Modelling, providing material properties and sectional Properties, fixing supports and boundary Conditions, providing loads & load combinations, Special Commands, Analysis Specification , Design Command and Report. The influence of plan geometry has an important role in static analysis. Maximum values of stresses, bending moments, shear forces and displacements and deflection are presented. The acting loads considered in the present analysis were dead load, Live load, floor load, and wind load. The project is to planning & analysis by using software for a multi storied building and single column building of G+3, G+7, G+15 floors. The design is done by taking in to account the requirements and standards recommended by IS code and national building rules.

This study analyzes the performance of wooden structural floors equipped with the self-tensioning system patented by the authors, consisting of a force multiplying mechanism connected to a self-tensioning tendon, which is activated automatically when the load is applied to the structural element. The paper describes the system’s difficulties when the structural floor is subjected to asymmetrical loads. The proposed solution consists of anchoring the tendon by an adhesive connection in the central part of the piece yielding a favorable redistribution of the bending moments and an effective performance in terms of deformations. The comparative study focuses onπ-shape cross section pieces with spans of 12 m and 15 m, using sections without prestressing and with initial prestressing and self-tensioning system.

Modern construction techniques and good architectural views of building come with the concept of floating column. FC gives good architectural views to the structure also for the space requirement for parking or movements of vehicles floating column is delivered at the ground floor. Two models of six storey building structure with FC and structure with regular columns for the comparative study on the parameters such as flat displacement, storey drift, time period and base shear. RSA has been completed using ETABS 2016 software.

Shear wall is a structural member that provides stability to structure against lateral loads. These walls play important role in multi-storey building situated in seismically active zones. They can resist large horizontal loads and simultaneously support gravity loads owing to its higher stiffness and strength. In this study, we have focused on the comparison between the effects of earthquake and wind loading on G+5 storey building with different positions of shear wall in Zone III. Twelve models were prepared and then analyzed for earthquake and wind loading in +X direction with the help of STAAD.Pro v8i software. These models include different position of full height shear wall and also include partial shear wall at different floor levels. Results were prepared in terms of maximum lateral displacements in the whole structure, nodal displacements at particular node and bending moments at corner column. The results were accurate and displayed acceptable performance in terms of lateral displacement and bending moment. From the analysis, it was found that lateral nodal displacements and bending moments are reduced in building with shear wall as compared to building without shear wall. Also, building with shear wall has more earthquake and wind resistance as compared to building without shear wall

Structural Analysis is a branch which involves in the determination of behavior of structures in order to predict the responses of real structures such as buildings, bridges, trusses etc. Under the improvement of expected loading & external environment during the service life of structure. The results of analysis are used to verify the structure fitness for use. Computer software’s are also being used for the calculation of forces, bending moment, stress, strain & deformation or deflection for a complex structural system. The principle objective of this project is “The Comparative Study on Analysis Results of Multistoreyed Commercial Building (G+12) by STAAD.Pro and ETABS”. STAAD.Pro is one of the leading software’s for the design of structures. In this project we had analyzed the G+12 building for finding the shear forces, bending moments, deflections details for the structural components of building (such as Beams, Columns & Slabs) to develop the economic design. ETABS is also leading design software in present days used by many structural designers. Here I have also analyzed the same structure using ETABS software for the design. Finally I made an attempt to define the economical section of G+12 multistoried building using STAAD.Pro and ETABS comparatively.

The existing methods (design directory) recommend using nomograms depending on the eccentricity of bending moment and numbers of piles while acting only vertical loads. These methods have a number of shortcomings and are inconvenient, because of lack of adequate alternatives and they do not provide the greatest efficiency. The convenient method of pile foundation designing (grillages and fields), depending on the load values, is the foundation proposed by the authors in this article. The results of numerical investigations determined the optimal grillages dimensions and numbers of pile in "bush" of pile, showed that this method gives optimal options for pile foundation under single column with large bending moments and minimum material expenditures and also provides its bearing capacity

Abstract: This research is a comparative literary study that uses Malay and Javanese versions of Mahabarata text sources. The research objects used were the text edition of Pandhawa Gubah (PG) by Sudibjo Z. Hadisutjipto and the text of Cheritera Pandawa Lima (CPL) by Khalid Hussain. The research method used is descriptive-analysis method. In the comparative study used a comparative literary theory proposed by Endraswara (2011). The results of the text comparison reveal the similarities and differences in the image of Bima figures in the Javanese and Malay versions. The equation as a whole is that both texts contain the same heroic storyline and heroic character, Bima. In addition, Indian influence is still evident in the two texts seen from the nuances of Hinduism that exist in both texts. While the difference is seen in the events that accompany Bima's struggle in achieving his victory. Based on these similarities and differences, it can be seen that the authors attempt to represent the concept of metaphysical interactions vertically and horizontally expressed through PG text.
