<p><em>Telah dilakukan studi komparasi untuk menguji keandalan model EMZHA dibandingkan model Langmuir dan Freunlich dalam penyerapan ion logam Cu(II), Cd(II) dan Pb(II) oleh beberapa biosorben. Model EMZHA adalah model adsorbsi baru yang diusulkan oleh peneliti Indonesia sebagai upaya mendapatkan model yang lebih bersifat universal (berlaku untuk semua tipe data) sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengungkap mekanisme adsorbsi secara lebih lengkap dan mendasar. Model Langmuir dan Freunlich dipillih sebagai pembanding karena kedua model ini paling banyak digunakan dan memiliki karakter yang cenderung berlawanan. Penelitian ini digunakan data ekperimen dalam bentuk aslinya,  tidak diubah kedalam bentuk linier terlebih dahulu, dengan tujuan untuk menghindari error yang timbul akibat proses linierisasi. Regresi yang digunakan adalah regresi non linier. Metode penelitian ini dibagi dalam dua tahapan yaitu tahap pengumpulan data eksperimen yang berasal dari berbagai penelitian adsorbsi ion logam berat oleh berbagai biosorben dan pengolahan data komparasi model. Pengusul model EMZHA telah melaporkan keandalan prediksi model ini untuk penyerapan beberapa ion logam tapi hanya menggunakan satu jenis biosorben, yaitu kulit buah atap, sedangkan penelitian ini menggunakan 11 biosorben yang berbeda. Pada penelitian ini berhasil dibuktikan bahwa model EMZHA memiliki koefisien determinasi rata-rata 0,9034 yang lebih tinggi dari rata-rata koefisien determinasi model Langmuir (0,8485) dan Freundlich (0,8483).</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em><em>Comparative studies have been conducted to test the reliability of the EMZHA model compared to the Langmuir and Freunlich models in the absorption of Cu (II), Cd (II) and Pb (II) metal ions by several biosorbents. The EMZHA model is a new adsorption model proposed by Indonesian researchers in an effort to obtain a more universal model (applicable to all types of data) so that it can be used to uncover the mechanism of adsorption more fully and fundamentally. Langmuir and Freunlich's models are chosen as a comparison because these two models are the most widely used and have opposing characters. This study used experimental data in its original form, not converted into linear form first, with the aim of avoiding errors arising from the linearization process. The regression used is non linear regression. This research method is divided into two stages, namely the stage of collecting experimental data derived from various studies of adsorption of heavy metal ions by various biosorbents and the processing of comparative data models. Proponents of the EMZHA model have reported the reliability of the prediction of this model for the absorption of several metal ions but only use one type of biosorbent, namely the skin of the roof, while this study uses 11 different biosorbents. In this study successfully proved that the EMZHA model has an average determination coefficient of 0.9034 which is higher than the average coefficient of determination of the Langmuir model (0.8485) and Freundlich (0.8483).</em></em></p>

Estimation of concrete strength is an important issue in ready-mixed concrete industry, especially, in proportioning new mixtures and for the quality assurance of the concrete produced. In this article, on the basis of the existing experimental data of compressive strength of normal and recycled aggregate concrete and equation for compressive strength calculating given in Technical regulation are compared. The accuracies of prediction by experimental data obtained in laboratory as well as by EN 1992-1-1, ACI 209 and SRPS U.M1.048 are compared on the basis of the coefficient of determination. The determination of the compressive strengths by the equation described here relies on determination of type of cement and age of concrete with the constant curing temperature.

This study is entitled Analysis of the Effect of Debt Capital and Equity Capital on the Remaining Operational Results of Cooperatives. The research is descriptive quantitative, the population used as the unit of research analysis is the Cooperative in the City of South Tangerang with the category thirty large cooperatives in the City of South Tangerang, with the criteria of having more than one business unit, and routinely carrying out RATs  the last three years in a row. The number of cooperatives that will be sampled in this study are thirty cooperatives. The research method used is causal analytical associative meaning a causal relationship where the variable x will affect the variable y. This method aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables, by explaining, predicting and controlling a symptom. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Debt Capital and Equity Capital on the Remnants of Cooperative Business Results in the City of South Tangerang. From the results of the study note that Debt Capital partially has a significant effect on the Remaining Operating Results, with a coefficient of determination of 72.29%, the remaining 27.71% is influenced by other factors. Equity Capital partially has a significant effect on the Remaining Results of Operations, with a coefficient of determination of 74.67%, the remaining 25.33% is influenced by other factors. Debt Capital and Equity Capital simultaneously have a significant effect on the Remaining Operating Results, with a coefficient of determination of 81.81%, the remaining 18.19% is influenced by other factors.Keywords: Cooperative, Debt Capital, Equity Capital, Remaining Operating Results

Telatang Mandiri Cooperative West Merapi Lahat Regency is one of the new cooperatives. In maintaining its business for the welfare of its members, Telatang Mandiri Cooperative West Merapi Lahat Regency has economic rentability problem, where the ratio of economic profitability from 2011 to 2015 always decreases. One of the  cause is the inefficient of working capital management. Therefore, the research was conducted with the aim to find out how the effect of working capital efficiency on the achievement of economic profitability in the Cooperative Telatang Mandiri West Merapi Lahat regency. The research method used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. Sources of data used in this study are the financial statements recorded by the Telatang Mandiri Cooperative West Merapi Lahat Regency period 2011-2015. Based on the research results obtained regression equation Y = 0,008 + 0,919X + e. The correlation coefficient obtained r = 0.977 which has a very strong relationship, this is supported by the analysis of coefficient of determination of 95.4% and the rest of 4.6% influenced by other factors. Also supported by t test obtained t calculate 7,861> t table 2,353 which mean working capital efficiency have an effect on signifikan to economic profitability. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of working capital efficiency on economic profitability in Telatang Mandiri Cooperative West Merapi Lahat Regency.

AbstarctTo support the strategic objectives and facing the challenges of a constantly evolving organization, it needs employees with high performance. If the performance of employees increased the effectiveness and productivity of the company will increase as well. Competence and training are factors that lead to employee performance improvement. Competency can help organizations create a culture of high performance. While, the training that has been developed through phases planned and programmed process will have a direct impact on employee performance. This study aims to analyze how strong the influence of competence and training to employees performance of PT Adaro Energy Tbk, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used was survey with the design of associative research. Research hypothesis had been tested using multiple linear regression. From the research results proved the competence contributed significantly strong positive effect on performance. However, training gave weakly significant positive effect on performance. Simultaneously, competence and training had a  dominant significant positive effect on employee performance, which is showed by a coefficient of determination of 73.6%.

This study investigated the adsorption of cellulases onto sugar beet shreds. The experiments were carried out using untreated, as well as dried and not dried dilute acid and steam pretreated sugar beet shreds at different initial enzyme loads. Both dilute acid and steam pretreatment were beneficial in respect of cellulases adsorption providing 8 and 9 times higher amounts of adsorbed proteins, respectively, in comparison to the results obtained with the untreated substrate. Although the use of higher solids load enabled by drying of pretreated substrates, could be beneficial for process productivity, at the same time it decreases the adsorption of enzymes. The obtained experimental data were fitted to five adsorption models, and the Langmuir model having the lowest residual sum of squares was used for the determination of adsorption parameters which were used to calculate the strength of cellulases binding to the substrates.

Aluminium corrosion inhibition in 1.0 M hydrochloric acid solution by caffeine has been studied using mass loss technique and quantum chemical calculations based on DFT. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increasing concentration of caffeine but decreases with a rise in temperature. The molecule shows the highest inhibition efficiency of 74% at 10−2 M for T=303 K. The experimental data were used to fit isotherms including Langmuir, Temkin, Freundlich, and El-Awady. The best fits were obtained with the Langmuir model and the kinetic-thermodynamic adsorption model of El-Awady. However, it was found that the adsorption parameters suit well with the isotherm of El-Awady which was chosen as the appropriate isotherm. To distinguish between physisorption and chemisorption, the Dubinin-Radushkevich adsorption model was used. The thermodynamic parameters governing the adsorption of caffeine onto aluminium and that of the metal dissolution were calculated and discussed. DFT study gave further insight into the mechanism of the inhibiting action of caffeine.

This research explaints about organizational culture and leadership style on teacher performance at Yayasan Nasional Perguruan Brigjend Katamso Medan. The theory used in this research includes the theory of organizational culture, leadership style and performance. The population in this study were teacher at Yayasan Perguruan Nasional Brigjend Katamso Medan as many as 53 people. The data analysis model used is multiple regresion analysis. This research method uses descriptive quantitative supported by a survey and is explanatory. The results of the research by testing t-test hypothesis show the organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at Yayasan Perguruan Brigjend Katamso Medan. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at Yayasan Perguruan Brigjend Katamso Medan. F test results show that the organizational culture and leadership style have positive and significant effect on teacher performance at Yayasan Perguruan Brigjend Katamso Medan. The value of the coefficient of determination of organizational culture and leadership style is able to explain the teacher performance variable of 82.6 % and the remaining 17.4 % is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Instagram account @bekasifood is an account that often shares various culinary informations. This information can be used as a basis and reference for the tendency of the community or followers of the account in choosing the type of culinary. This study aims to determine the effect of exposure to the Instagram account @bekasifood on preferences in choosing culinary in Bekasi. The research method used is a quantitative method with the main theory of Uses and Gratification. Determination of the sample size in this study uses the Taro Yamane formula. Based on the result of hypothesis testing, namely the T test and F test, the result shows that preference in choosing culinary in Bekasi can be influenced by exposure to the Instagram account @bekasifood. Aimed at the simple linear regression test and t test that motives affect preference in choosing culinary in Bekasi. The hypothesis which states that “there is a significant effect of exposure to the @bekasifood Instagram account on preferences in choosing culinary in Bekasi for followers is accepted. In this study, it can be seen that the value of the coefficient of determination R Square is 0.733. These result explains the ability of the account exposure variable (X) to influence the preference variable in choosing culinary (Y) followers of the @bekasifood Instagram account, which is 73.3%, while the rest is explained by other factors not found in this study.

This research was conducted to examine the effect of career development on employee performance at PT Bank CIMB Niaga Pondok Indah Branch. The research method used is a quantitative method with the use of primary and secondary data. Population and sample are 40 respondents, who are employees of Credit Card Division of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Pondok Indah Branch. The results of research using the Pearson Product Moment correlation show that career development has a weak relationship with employee performance, by obtaining a correlation coefficient of r = 0.2487. The contribution of the influence of career development on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of r2 is 6.18%, while the remaining 93.83% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The results of the significance test show that tcount <ttable is 0.3820 <2.0262, so it can be concluded that career development (X) does not have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at PT Bank CIMB Niagan Pondok Indah Branch. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Bank CIMB Niaga Cabang Pondok Indah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan penggunaan data primer dan sekunder. Populasi dan sampel adalah sebanyak 40 responden, yang merupakan karyawan Divisi Credit Card dari PT Bank CIMB Niaga Cabang Pondok Indah. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukan bahwa pengembangan karir memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan kinerja karyawan, dengan diperolehnya koefisien korelasi r=0,2487. Kontribusi pengaruh dari pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai koefieien determinasi r2 sebesar 6,18%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 93,83% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti di dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukan bahwa thitung < ttabel yakni 0,3820 < 2,0262, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan karir (X) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) pada PT Bank CIMB Niaga Cabang Pondok Indah.
