The high-speed growth in the global population has resulted in a deficit of foods, which has stimulated the development of technologies for planting agricultural products and fattening domestic animals. However, these processes are supplemented in many cases by worsening of the quality of foods and their pollution by foreign substances. To guarantee the proper quality and safety of foodstuffs for health, the International Organization for Standardization developed the standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018. At the same time, businesses fabricating foods, especially meat-based ones, have to observe the norms of the international standard ISO 14001:2015. Finally, because treatments of raw materials and ingredients used in food products contain in many cases substances harmful for health, enterprises must introduce the norms of standard ISO 45001:2018. To simplify management processes, enterprises introduce so-called ‘integrated management systems’. This study proposes one variant of such a system recommended for use in food-producing organizations including those that treat raw meat and produce products based on its use.

Therefore, internship training is one of the necessities for the students to be equipped with the important knowledge and skills related to the workplace and their gained experience. The study was conducted to ascertain the useful English language skills for tourism course which was from the Tourism Management course in Politeknik Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. The research was specifically designed to focus on students’ lacks and needs of linguistic skills in order to prepare them for occupational purposes. Good English communication practice during the study will contribute more benefits to students’ education and mastery level. This research was also conducted to investigate whether what the industry needs are aligned to the students’ needs.  Therefore, a needs analysis had to be done to recognize the needs of the students and the industry personnel representing the future employers of the students. The researcher sees the importance of needs analysis to be done as only 49.5 % of the polytechnic graduates were employed after they had completed their diploma course (Graduates Tracer Study, Malaysia Higher Education Statistics 2011: 118). </em>

This paper offers a new conceptual model, the integrated stakeholder relationships management model based on the principles of systems thinking and integrated management approach. This research is unique in its scope by considering all management functions while trying to integrate the stakeholders into the strategic decisions of the management. The model is tested on a sample with 303 respondents from software companies (175), hardware companies (100) and a sectoral association (28) in Turkey to explore how stakeholder relationships are managed based on the perceptions of the managers and the employees. Whereas the pilot study showed us the feasibility of the model, the main study results indicated how the stakeholder relationships are managed in a group of sample IT organizations when compared to the ideal criteria given by the proposed model. The model may prove to be a managerial guide for the managers at all levels for their attempts to integrate stakeholder interests into the management processes.

Although logistics activities have been carried out by individuals for many centuries, only a few decades ago, logistics has been seen as a new area of integrated management, that is, to think about products and services flowing seamlessly from the sources of raw materials to the final consumers (Ballou, 1999). The supply chain management (SCM) consists of the integration of the business logistics management processes involving not only units within an enterprise but also across units belonging to both upstream and downstream partners, such as suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers.

The analysis, dissemination and adaptation of good practices have been a reality for a long time, carried out by various sectors of the public and private sectors. In the case of Integrated Coastal Management (ICM), this scenario is incipient and lacks conceptual and methodological development. Good practices in Integrated Coastal Management are fundamental for the sustainability of these areas. Although Brazil has a legal and executive framework for GCI established over 30 years ago, there is no instrument to identify and share these good practices. In this context, this article presents and analyzes the development of the Integrated Coastal Management Best Practices Assessment Model, which was tested in three assessments of specific management processes. The first two evaluations were carried out with the managers of the ‘Costa Sul’ Program, an integrated management experience on a regional scale in the South of Brazil. The third evaluation of the model was carried out at the Federal Conservation Unit ‘Estação Ecológica do Taim’ and analyzed the management of this protected area from the perspective of Integrated Coastal Management. Priority was given to the elaboration and application of the model, where its results were presented and analyzed as the main locus of the research, leaving the analysis of the results of the management processes (specifically) in the background. The Good Practice Assessment Model is a pioneering initiative in terms of systematic assessment of good practices in ICM in Brazil and can contribute to the definition of integrated strategic bases for decision making and support for adaptive management. Keywords: Conceptual modeling; Integrated coastal management; Good practices; Management Instruments; Good practices; Evaluation processes.

Introduction: This research derives from our experience of support groups since 2006. In seeking to understand the way in which a co-operative organization works, it is necessary to find out how and by whom it is managed. In order to put this organization into context, this project needed to establish a perspective that addressed the relevant points: society, exclusion, garbage, job insecurity. The research aims to show how support groups in a social intervention project develop a dual role for beneficiaries: 1) as institutional agents who use their respective institutions to direct decisions and actions to make changes in the work place of the beneficiary, 2) to influence the liberation of geographic space in the work of beneficiaries (cultural, educational, ideological, social and psychological). The hypothesis is that those who bring this about are the support groups because the original co-operative perspective sprang from them, and all management processes for more than ten years have taken place through this group. Our thesis seeks to find the evidence and investigate whether there is a real problem. It will be carried out through a systematic analysis of management over the last ten years. Methodology and development: An in-depth analysis will require not only a review of the literature concerning different studies of Cooperlix in Presidente Prudente, SP, but mainly the institutional articulation mechanisms which characterize the geography of the work, with the aim that the study will lead us to a socio-organizational structure that goes beyond the co-operative and its members. Once all the research involving the collection of data from various sources has been completed, we will make use of a research practice involving intensive direct observation (observation and interview), and also extensive direct observation (questionnaire). The research will be exploratory, aiming to identify and systematize current information concerning the scope of work and its influence on the behavior of those involved. Documentary research will be carried out within the different organizations involved with the intention of mapping influence and interaction between them and Cooperlix. Individuals who make up the support groups, selected according to certain criteria, will be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted with the co-operative in order to identify and interpret their perceptions of the changes it has undergone, influenced by the support groups. It will be possible to identify the management model adopted in the last ten years from this information. Analysis will take place at different times as each stage of the research will require individual analysis. Final thoughts: The results of this research will contribute to establishing an understanding of the actions and practices of the support groups.
