Abstrak Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menghasilkan sebuah modul pembelajaran menulis puisi. Selain itu, penelitian dan pengembangan ini juga bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan modul menulis puisi berbasisi experiential learning untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP, mendeksripsikan kelayakan modul berdasarkan penilaian dan validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan uji coba terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan modul berdasarkan penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, perencanaan, pengembangan format produk, uji coba skala kecil, dan revisi akhir serta penyempurnaan produk memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,43 dengan persentase 88,6% bekategori “Sangat Layak” berasal dari penilaian dan validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari uji coba terhadap siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,58 dengan persentase 91,6% berkategori “Sangat Layak”. Dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan skor rata-rata penilaian dari ahli media, ahli materi, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan uji coba terhadap siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran menulis puisi berbasis experiential learning untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP sangat layak digunakan secara mandiri sebagai media pembelajaran tambahan bagi siswa. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, modul, menulis puisi, experiential learning Abstract This research and development aim to develop and produce a learning module to write poetry. In addition, this research and development also aim to describe the process of developing a poetry writing module based on experiential learning for junior high school eighth-grade students, describing the feasibility of the module based on assessment and validation by media experts, material experts, Indonesian teachers, and testing of students. This research includes development research using quantitative descriptive. The results of research and development modules based on research and initial information gathering, planning, product format development, small-scale trials, and final revisions and product improvements obtained an average score of 4.43 with the percentage of 88.6% of the category "Very Worthy" coming from assessment and validation of media experts, material experts, and Indonesian language teachers. The results of the trials on students obtained an average score of 4.58 with a percentage of 91.6% categorized as "Very Worthy". It can be concluded based on the average score of assessment from media experts, material experts, Indonesian language teachers, and trials on students. It can be concluded that poetry writing learning modules based on experiential learning for junior high school students are very suitable to be used independently as additional learning media for students. This research was conducted to develop an integrated science practicum guide with the theme of inquiry-based photosynthesis for junior high school students with student learning outcomes and activities. This research is a Research and Development research with small-scale trials in class VIII A and large scale at VIIIB. The results showed that the practical guide was valid and feasible to use by obtaining an average score of> 3.2 from each expert. After calculating the n gain formula, the classical gain n value is 0.56 (moderate), with the classical completeness percentage is 100%. The results of the analysis of students' understanding using practicum guides have been developed with an average of 83.84. Meanwhile, the understanding of students who did not use the practicum guide that had been developed obtained an average of 62.20. This shows that the understanding of students using the practicum guide that was developed is higher than without using the practicum guide that has been developed. The results of student activity increased after the second meeting with an average of 85.47% of students belonging to the "active" and "very active" categories. So it can be concluded that the integrated science practicum guide for inquiry-based photosynthesis for junior high school students has proven valid and suitable for use in learning. The research and development of Indonesian textbooks is very important especially for the textbook which integrates character education using communicative approach. Many textbooks have been published, but they are often only for reference in assignments and exercises. The existing textbooks do not fully use text that is a genre in learning Indonesian, namely the pedagogic genre. This research aims to produce forms of competence, material forms, forms of tasks, and forms of assessment in the development of Indonesian Language and Literature textbooks integrated with character education based on communicative approaches for junior high school. The method used was research and development with reference to the Borg and Gall model. The showed that learning devices, teaching books, are feasible to implement. In addition, practitioners' assessment of the implementation of this textbook is 3,526 categories "Good". Likewise, the assessment of students in the three aspects occupies the highest category of Good. Therefore, the development of the Indonesian Language and Literature textbook can already be said to be feasible to use for the teachers and the students of Junior High School, especially for SMP Pangudi Luhur 1  in Yogyakarta.

In the form of an assessment guide reading poetry on poetry text material and knowing the process of developing and the feasibility of the product. This research method is a Research and Development (R&D) research and development method proposed by Tegeh et al. Referring to the Borg & Gall model with minor adjustments according to the research context simplified to product trials. Data was collected through validation of material experts, design experts, the responses of Indonesian Language teachers of Junior High School 1 Pancur batu, and 32 students of Junior High School 1 Pancur batu as research subjects. The results of this research and development are teaching materials in the form of textbooks based on contextual approaches in the form of printed media, which have been declared feasible to be used by material experts, design experts, Indonesian language teachers and students as learning resources. The feasibility of teaching materials in accordance with the results of validation. The results of the expert validation of the material include a component of content worthiness with an average of 82.29% in the very good criteria, the feasibility of the presentation obtained an average value of 82.5% in the very good criteria, the feasibility of the language obtained an average value of 86.11% in the very good criteria , and contextual feasibility obtained an average value of 81.25 on very good criteria.

The objective of this study was to develop English learning media based on students’ needs. This research was conducted in SMP N 37 Medan for students in grade VII which consists of 30 students. This study followed the steps of research and development proposed by Borg and Gall (1983), which are 1) need analysis; 2) planning (develop preliminary form of product); 3) Collecting data; 4) designing media; 4) media evaluation; 5) revising (designing final product). It was found that 96.66% students agreed that the existing an interactive learning medium currently used by the students of Junior High School. The more relevant media were developed based on student needs, which can provide opportunities for students to participate in the classroom. The learning media were developed into 4 media based on 4 units of speaking materials. Then the learning media were validated by two experts. The average score of the validation was 90. It showed that the developed learning media were very good, relevant and feasible.Keywords:       English learning media, speaking, visual art media.

This study aims to design Screencast O Matic as media of writing descriptive text for grade eighth students in Junior High School. The research was conducted by Research and Development (R & D) design through six stages; gathering information and data, analyzing the data, designing new writing media, validating to experts, revising writing media, and final product. The subject of this research was grade eighth students at SMP Negeri 27 Medan. The instruments used for collecting the data were interview and questionnaire. The data were gathered by administering interview to the English teacher and distributing questionnaire to 30 respondents to get the students’ needs in learning descriptive text. The writing media have been validated by two experts, English teacher and English lecturer. The average score from English teacher and English lecturer was 90,4% so it was categorized as Very Good. It means the developing Screencast O Matic as media of writing descriptive text is appropriate for grade eighth students in Junior High School. Keywords: Research and Development (R&D), Writing media, Descriptive text, Screencast O Matic

This study was motivated by the low score of the students‘ Indonesian language in national examination that were certainly correlated with the Indonesian language teachers‘ competences. The Indonesian language techers‘ competences can be observed in doing the Indonesian language proficiency test. This study was aimed to determine the Indonesian language teachers‘ capabilities indoing UKBI and to describe about it. The data obtained describe that the Indonesian language teachers of Senior High School (SMA) have the highest scores, then the Indonesian language teachers of Junior High School (SMP), and the last ones were the teachers of elementary school (SD). Moreover, among the Indonesian language techers‘ capabilities of SMA, SMP, and SD in doing UKBI have not shown the significant differences.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai Ujian Nasional (UN) bahasa Indonesia siswa yang tentunya berkorelasi dengan kompetensi guru bahasa Indonesianya. Kompetensi guru bahasa Indonesia dapat terlihat dari Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia (UKBI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di Pekanbaru dalam menyelesaikan soal UKBI dan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam menyelesaikan soal UKBI. Dari penganalisisan data diperoleh temuan bahwa nilai rerata UKBI guru SMA memperoleh skor paling tinggi, nilai rerata UKBI guru SMP memperoleh skor sedang, sedangkan nilai rerata UKBI guru SD memperoleh skor paling rendah. Akan tetapi, kemampuan guru bahasa dan sastra Indonesia dari ketiga tingkatan sekolah tersebut (SMA, SMP, SD) dalam menyelesaikan soal UKBI tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang berarti (tidak signifikan) pada taraf kepercayaan 5 %, hal ini terlihat dari nilai Fhitung lebih kecil dari Ftabel (Fhitung = 0,11 < Ftabel = 4,35)

This reseacrh aims to determine the effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model on the ability to think cretaively in mathematics in class VIII junior high school students in the estuary of students in the estuary of 2018/2019 academic year two-variable linearequation system (SPLDV). Jenis type of research used is true experimental design in the form of Pre-test and Post-test design. The population used was all students of class VIII of  Muara Beliti state junior high school, consistingof 295 students and as a sample was class VIII.6 with 30 students as dick classes and VIII.8 with 31 students as experimental classes. The data collection was carried out using a test technique in the form of four essay questions with a maximum score of 20. Based on the resultd of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students creative mathematical thinking ability were obtained  then  is rejected and is accepted, it means that the average score of students cerative thinking ability using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model is more than the average score of students creative thinking ability using conventional learning, namely in the experimental class at 12.97 and in the control class at 5.47.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kelayakan dan respon guru terhadap Permainan Kartu Kuartet pada materi asam basa, dan garam di SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian dan pengembangan adalah (R&D) yang mengadopsi model pemngembangan ADDIE. Pengambilan data untuk mengetahui respon guru dengan cara memberikan angket kepada 3 Guru IPA di sekolah yang diteliti. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa Permainan Kartu Kuartet yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan Bahasa 100% (sangat layak), media 100% (sangat layak) dan materi 91,66% (sangat layak), dan respon guru sebesar 81,24% terhadap Permainan Kartu Kuartet. Hal ini menunjukkan di SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak tergolong kategori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian Permainan Kartu Kuartet dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran materi Asam Basa dan Garam sebagai media pembantu dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Kartu Kuartet, Asam Basa Garam, Kelayakan, ResponABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the level of feasibility and teacher response to the Quartet Card Game on acid base and salt material Junior High School 9 Pontianak. The form of research and development is (R&D) which adopts the ADDIE development model. Collecting data to determine the teacher’s response by giving a questionnaire to 3 science teachers in the schools studied. The results of data processing show that the developed quartet card game is suitable for use in learning in terms of the percentage of language feasibility of 100%, media is 100%, in the proper category and material is 91,66%, with the very feasible category, and the teacher’s response was 81,24% for the Quartet Card Game. This shows that Junior High School 9 Pontianak is in the very high category. This the Quartet Card Game can be used in leraning of Acid Base and Salt materials as an auxiliary medium in learning.Keywords: Quartet Card, Acid Base Sald, Feasibility, Response

The media serves to direct students to gain various learning experiences. The aim of this study is to know the feasibility of interactive multimedia development in children' story of character education-based. Sources of data in this study were obtained from: 1) Respondents: 7th grade students of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan which amount to 23 students, 2) Informants: validators, students and Indonesian language teachers of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan. The results of the feasibility of learning media validation by instructional media design experts was declared "very good" The assessment of the content feasibility aspect was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 91%. The assessment of the presentation feasibility was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 83%. The assessment of the graphic feasibility was declared "good" with a total average percentage of 77%.

Textbooks are one of the primary sources of input in EFL classrooms (Northbrook & Conklin, 2018). Textbooks cannot, however, suit the needs of every teacher or student who uses them (McGrath, 2002). As such, the principled evaluation of prospective textbooks becomes an important function in EFL contexts. In this small-scale study, three Japanese junior high school textbooks are evaluated to assess the extent to which they meet the requirements set by MEXT and the teachers who use them. Littlejohn’s (2011) textbook analysis framework is employed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the textbooks. The results reveal that the junior high school textbooks are surprisingly homogenous in nature, however, they are well suited to the context for which they are intended and broadly satisfy the requirements of policy makers and teachers. The ensuing discussion identifies a number of strengths and weaknesses that can broadly be applied to all three textbooks. 教科書はEFL教育現場において、インプットの最も主要なもののひとつである(Northbrook & Conklin, 2018)。 しかしながら、教科書は使用者である教師や生徒のニーズをすべて満たしているわけではない (McGrath, 2002)。それ故に、使用される教科書を一定の観点で評価することは、EFL教育においてとても重要である。本論は、日本の中学校教科書が、文部科学省の設定する目標や使用者である教師のニーズにどの程度対応しているかを評価することを目的としている。Littlejohn (2011) による教科書分析の手法を用いて、異なる三社の教科書を詳細に分析した。結果として、当該の教科書は驚くほど同質でありながらも、中学校の英語教育の状況によく適合しており、また文部科学省と教師双方の要求に幅広く対応していることが明らかになった。さらに、先に分析した三つの教科書に共通する長所と短所についても論じる。
