In present studies mental anxiety was studied between art and science students. A group of 80 students was taken in which there were 40 girls and 40 boys and each group included from both art and science students. 20 subjects were taken in each treatment and each subject was treated individually. Two ways ANOVA was applied on the data obtained. The mean of art students and science students were calculated. The anxiety of Science students was found to be more as compared to Arts students.

Abstract Objectives The study aimed to evaluate and compare various commercially available local anesthetic solutions. Materials and Methods A total of 150 commercially available local anesthetic cartridges of similar composition (2% lidocaine with epinephrine 1:100,000) were randomly collected and divided into 3 groups. The designations of groups were selected from their product names such that each group consisted of 60 cartridges. Group S (Septodont, France) Group M (Medicaine, Korea) and Group H (HD-Caine, Pakistan). The samples were divided into five sub-groups, each consisting of 10 cartridges from each group to investigate each parameter. Results The acquired data was statistically analyzed and compared (using SPSS version 12). Compositional analysis revealed a non-significant (P>0.05) difference when the three Groups were compared with standard lidocaine and epinephrine solutions. The mean pH values of samples from group S, M and H respectively fell within the range of pH values of commercially available solutions. Non-significant difference in EPT values of Group S and H was found when efficacy was compared (p = 0.3), however a significant difference (p < 0.01) was observed in contrast to Group M. Anti-bacterial activity was observed in all the group and a non-significant difference in cell viability values of Group S and M was found (p = 0.6), while the difference was significant in comparison to Group H. Conclusion Within the limitations of these investigations, it appears that the properties of different manufacturers fall within the recommended ranges as mentioned in literature and do not appear to be statistically different in the variables we have tested.

AbstractBACKGROUNDNumerous minimally invasive approaches to the skull base have been successively developed. Knowledge of the surgical nuances of a specific approach may facilitate approach selection. This study sought to compare the nuances of an extended version of the minipterional craniotomy (EMPT) with those of the transorbital endoscopic approach (TOEA) to the anterior and middle cranial fossae (ACF and MCF, respectively).OBJECTIVETo quantitatively analyze and compare the area of exposure and surgical freedom between EMPT and TOEA to the ACF and MCF.METHODSEMPT and TOEA were carried out in 5 latex-injected cadaveric heads, bilaterally (10 sides). For each approach, the area of exposure, surgical freedom, and angle of attack were obtained with neuronavigation and statistically compared.RESULTSNo significant difference was found between the mean area of exposure of EMPT and TOEA at the ACF and MCF (P = .709 and .317, respectively). The mean exposure area at the ACF was of 13.4 ± 2.6 cm2 (mean ± standard deviation) and 13.0 ± 1.9 cm2 for EMPT and TOEA, respectively. Except for the crista galli, EMPT afforded a larger area of surgical freedom at all targets. EMPT also achieved significantly greater attack angles in vertical axis except to the crista galli. The horizontal attack angles to all targets were similar between approaches.CONCLUSIONEMPT and TOEA offer a comparable area of exposure at the ACF and MCF in the cadaver; however, the instrument maneuverability afforded by EMPT is superior. Further studies are necessary to better define their precise surgical application.

Despite of lots conservative and surgical methods of treatment, the problem of anal incontinence is relevant today and remains unresolved. Since the beginning of the 1990s attempts ofimplantation of bulking agents in order to increase the basal pressure in the anal canal were begun. Domestic product “ДАМ+” used in the study. OBJECTIVE. To determine the indications for injection of bulking agents for the treatment of anal incontinence. Research the possibility of using the drug “ДАМ+,” with assessment of treatment outcomes. During a period of 2014 to 2016 there were 30 patients with anal incontinence of various etiologies involved in research. The mean age was 47,5 ± 6,5 years. Injection of bulking agent “ДАМ+” were performed by the punction of submucosa of the anal canal in 3 points, andfollowed by a comparative analysis of the survey after treatment. Average follow-up was 12,1 ± 0,97 months. The study we have identified indications for the implementation of bulking agents for correction of anal incontinence, and the estimation results.

Background: Covid-19 pandemic disease, which affects the world, causes serious mortality rates. In addition to medical studies worldwide, various restriction rules have also been developed by countries in order to slow the pace of the pandemic and achieve normal living conditions. In order to reduce the sorrowful consequences of the pandemic process, home quarantines were decided and although social distance rules were applied in outdoor environments, hygiene conditions were tried to be increased at the maximum level and education was suspended for an indefinite period. A total of 39 students participated in this study, which aims to examine the recreation perceptions of sports science students in the Covid-19 process through metaphors. Aim: To analyze the situation of recreation activities in the covid-19 process through literature review, data analysis, and observations. Methods: Qualitative research method was used in this study. In this regard, our study was conducted using a (phenomenological) pattern, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Results: When Table 1 is examined, it is seen that the participants of the study consisted of 9 (23.1%) female students and 30 (76.9%) male students. The majority are around 21 (38.5%) and 22 (35.9) years old, the mean age of the total participant is 21. Only 1 (2.6%) person was infected with the Covid-19 virus, and the rest of 38 (97.4%) people were not infected. 2 (5.1%) of the participants reside in the village, 13 (33.3) in the district, and 24 (61.5) in the province. The situation of doing sports actively, on the other hand, 24 (61.5) people are doing sports actively, 15 (38.5) people are not doing sports actively. Conclusion: When the research results were examined, it was concluded that the participant students were exposed to various negative psychological situations such as their anxiety and stress levels increased, they became intolerant of uncertainty as their recreational activities stopped during the Covid-19 period. Keywords: Covid-19, recreation, metaphor

This study introduces a comparative analysis of the gender wage gap decomposition methods with the Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS) data for 2018. To decompose the differences in average wages, approaches based on the Oaxaca–Blinder decomposition are used. Apart from the mean wages, the study focuses on other distribution statistics. Using the quantile regressions, the wage gap between men and women is decomposed for the distribution parameters such as median, lower and upper deciles. The decomposition estimates of conditional and unconditional (based on recentered influence functions) quantile regressions are compared.
