A research entitled Ethnobotanical Studies of Medicinal Plant of Topo Uma Tribe in Berdikari Village Sigi Regency Central Sulawesi has been carried out from December 2016 to February 2017. The research objective was to obtain species of plants used by community of Topo Uma tribe. This research used qualitative and quantitative method. The result showed that there were 56 plants species from 30 families that used by Topo Uma Tribe in Berdikari village. The highest percentace that use in the part of plants were 56,33% of leaves. The processing method is crushed, roasted, pulverized, fried, baked, shredded, boiled, brewed, boiled made cigarette, chewed,  cooked as a vegetable, direct attached parts of the body. Types of diseases that are treatable infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases and health care.

A study of nutritious herbs etnopharmacy has been done to Banggai ethnic from March to June 2015 in Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research aims at identifying every kind of herbs parts used as traditional medicine, types of diseases cured using herbs by Banggai ethnic in Banggai Laut Regency, and the percentage of the usage by the informant about herbs as a traditional medicine. This is a descriptive research that uses qualitative method and take the sample purposively through open-ended interview involved 7 informants asked by questionnaire. The result of this research revealed that there are 54 types of herbs divided into 31 family used as medicine. The most widely used herbs is from 5 species of Zingiberaceae family and Lamiaceae family. Interview result revealed that there are 10 types of chronic diseases, 3 infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases 27, and 5 used for health care body. The parts of herbs used are leaf (49 percent), stem, sap, fruit, rhizomes, roots, tubers, herbs and bark. The Banggai ethnic precede the herbs through boiled, mashed, squeezed, shredded, soaked, brewed and then consumed, drunk, rubbed, pasted, applied directly. Processing methods most often done is boiled and drunk the herbs straightly. The higher belief the society has in the herbs ability to cure the diseases the higher use of herbal medicine as an alternative of diseases healing.

Abstract. The Clean and Healthy Behavior Program (PHBS) is a government effort to promote improved quality of life aimed at making Indonesian people live in clean and healthy environments. The PHBS program in the household setting has a very important role in the incidence of infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases. Whereas diarrhea itself is a condition where a person's stool is soft to runny and the frequency is more than three times a day. Acute diarrhea is a case of diarrhea that appears suddenly for approximately fourteen days. Acute diarrhea can be caused by gastrointestinal infections caused by viruses, bacteria, or parasaites that accidentally enter the body through media such as food, water, or direct contact with patients. So that it is expected that by implementing clean and healthy life behaviors, the community can overcome acute diarrhea cases easily.

Abstract Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are prevalent in the migrant population with increased years of residency in the host country. In this regard, health education and lifestyle interventions have proven to be cost-effective modifying risk factors. The Spanish pilot of the Mig-HealthCare project directly aims to reduce the prevalence of NCDs reducing the well-known “healthy migrant effect” by increasing the levels of health literacy and also turning the lifestyles of the participants into healthier habits in the host country. The Mig-HealthCare pilot in Spain is a one-month group-based Health Education and Lifestyle Intervention to prevent the incidence of non-communicable diseases in Migrant and refugee populations addressing their Acculturation Process (HELP-MAP). Consequently, the pilot intervention addressing 4 topics: health literacy, physical activity, dietary patterns and strategies for coping with stress. The implementation of the pilot will be carried out in two different community services (i) one NGO providing care and accommodation for asylum seekers and (ii) three social care units within primary health care centres. Furthermore, following the Mig-Healthcare study protocol evaluation will focus on acculturation strategies, level of health literacy, physical exercise, change in diet, use of health care access and Quality-Adjusted life-years (QALY)

Health problems in Indonesia are very serious challenges. The main problem is that there is a triple burden or three important health problems related to the eradication of infectious diseases, an increase in cases of non-communicable diseases and the re-emergence of types of diseases that should have been successfully resolved. Infectious diseases such as diarrhea, tuberculosis and dengue fever were the most common health cases; now there has been a marked change in the number of cases of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer and coronary heart disease. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia at the Ministry of Health in 2017 launched GERMAS or Healthy Living Community Movement. GERMAS is a movement that aims to promote a culture of healthy living and leave unhealthy habits and behavior of society. The GERMAS action was also followed by promoting hygiene and healthy living habits and support for community-based infrastructure programs. This program has several focuses, such as building access to meet drinking water needs, community health installations and the construction of habitable settlements. The three of them are the basic infrastructure that is the foundation of the healthy life movement.

Non-communicable diseases have become the leading cause of death worldwide, the origin of which remains unclear. At the same time, in the methodology of hygienic diagnostics and socio-hygienic monitoring, the search for good indicators testifying to the influence of environmental factors on human health is of considerable difficulty. 85-90% of management errors are recognized due to the unreasonable choice of these indicators. The continued growth of non-infectious morbidity in the Russian population indicates the inefficiency of the existing system of socio-hygienic (epidemiological) monitoring and, in general, the state of hygiene as human health science. To obtain reliable monitoring data, it is necessary to introduce a systematic homeostatic indicator that reflects changes in human health, regardless of the nature and origin of external factors, including vital and social factors. In this regard, the goals of this review were to analyze the systemic homeostatic action of the body’s associated water phase and the mechanisms of its electronic exchange interaction with the environment in a relationship that reflects the root causes of metabolic disorders in cellular structures and the subsequent occurrence of chronic non-infectious human diseases. According to quantum notions, an organism is a macroscopic quantum system, each organ and each cell of which is in electronic interaction with each other and with similar structures in the environment. It is precise because of non local connections that health and diseases are significantly dependent on the electrophysical state of the environment. A systemic indicator that reflects the effectiveness of electronic metabolic processes and human health is the proportion of the associated water phase in the body and the associated intensity of electromagnetic emission in the low-frequency and high-frequency spectral regions. In pathological conditions of organs (disease), adaptation is disrupted, which from a physical perspective is regarded as a “gap” in quantum correlation with external sources of electrons. During this process, a sharp decrease in the proportion of the associated water phase occurs, accompanied by the release of excess heat and metabolic shifts. Electron-deficient environmental conditions require the early introduction of measures to counteract dangerous trends in the nation health and the social and hygienic monitoring methodological aspects revision, which can have a significant impact on the “water factor,” through which realized one of the main ways of electron-deficient states the body compensation is implemented.

Non-communicable diseases (PTM) are a group of chronic diseases, not contagious and can attack all organs of the body, so PTM has a large impact both in terms of morbidity and mortality on public health. Based on information from community leaders from the Sukarami Village, many people experience hypertension, diabetes, rheumatism or pain in the joints so that people are very much expecting help from health workers to provide counseling and health checks in order to prevent disease or attempt to find the cause of the disease. Residents who attended the PKM activities amounted to 138 people. The results of glucose level examination obtained a normal category of 111 people, Prediabetes category as many as 21 people and diabetes category as many as 6 people while the examination of uric acid levels obtained normal results as many as 101 people, abnormal category as many as 36 people and not examined as many as 1 person but the results the measurement of people's blood pressure that came showed 67 (48.6%) more than normal meaning that quite a lot of people tended to suffer from hypertension. It was concluded that community awareness of the importance of checking blood sugar and gout, especially for those aged> 40 years, still needs to be improved through regular education and blood tests to prevent (preventive efforts), especially non-communicable diseases.

Historical records evidenced of urban landscape changes, and environmental transitions brought by the improper growths and urban development’s of the urbanisation and industrialization in the developing countries, especially in India, significantly chaotic urban sprawl and industrial growths, and the development of its allied activities for the recent decades, invites new, emerging, re-emerging, and triggers the tropical infectious diseases including vector borne diseases (VBD) as well non-communicable diseases. Urban sprawl has a multiplier effect of growth of unplanned a crowded housing, and industrialization has an impact on the urban landscape with commercial and market development, and roads over large expanses of urban land while little concern for appropriate urban planning. The union government of India is launching to promote 100 mega smart city projects / metropolitan / urban agglomeration across the nation for betterment of the standard of living infrastructure facilities by 2030. The large scale urban landscape architectural changes, land use / land cover changes, environmental transitions, and micro climatic changes in the heart of the urban landscape, and its fringe areas on the consequence of built-up structures, construction of roads transport networks, drainages, commercial buildings, human dwellings, educational buildings, legal and medical health services, income tax professionals, small scale to large scale industries, etc., The census of India, reports highlighted that people mass movements / migration from rural to the urban, and small towns to mega cities are notably accelerating trends for the recent decades mainly for the purposes of occupation, education, trade and commerce, and professional services, generally reasons for male migration, and marriage is the absolute reason for female adults migration. The spatial and temporal aspects of malaria and dengue has been declining trends in rural settings, however, it has been accelerating trends in the urban settings due to the urban buoyant migrants. Urbanization and industrialization effect on urban landscape environment leads to breakdown of sanitations, water-borne diseases associated with inadequate  and unsafe drinking water supply, tendency to use metal, plastic, and mud pots water storage containers, discarded domestic waste misshapen to vector breeding habitats containers, urban heat island, garbage waste disposal, liquid waste from dwellings, and industries, air pollution (dust, pollen and spores suspended as particles, Sulphur Dioxide-SO2, nitrogen oxides-NO, Carbonate-CO3, depletion of Oxygen O2, Ozone-O3, Methane  Gas- CH₄, Lead- Pb,  Mercury- Hg etc.,), exonerated by the industries and urban transport emissions, modern transport / shipping goods and services, and collectively hazard to human health through erratic infectious diseases and vector borne diseases immediately.

Strengthening Primary Health Care Systems is the most effective policy response in low-and middle-income countries to protect against health emergencies, achieve universal health coverage, and promote health and wellbeing. Despite the Astana declaration on primary health care, respective investment is still insufficient in Sub-Sahara Africa. The SARS-CoV-2019 pandemic is a reminder that non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which are increasingly prevalent in Sub-Sahara Africa, are closely interlinked to the burden of communicable diseases, exacerbating morbidity and mortality. Governments and donors should use the momentum created by the pandemic in a sustainable and effective way by pivoting health spending towards primary health care.
