The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the role of academic supervision and interpersonal communication. research place at public elementary schools in the administrative city of South Jakarta. This study used a survey method with path analysis techniques and a causal quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 81 teachers who were taken using simple random sampling technique or simple random sampling and the teachers who were the object of the research were determined using the sample technique formula from Slovin. The data analysis technique was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics by first doing the prerequisite analysis, namely population normality and regression analysis. The findings from the study that academic supervision activities and smooth interpersonal communication play a major role in improving teacher performance. Professional teachers will be able to manage learning activities well and will be able to provide motivation to students so that the goals of learning will be achieved and produce students who excel in their respective fields.

Abstract. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the growing interest in learning of students in Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school in class 4.1. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive survey method. The population of the research was 74 fourth grade students of Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school, consist of 4 classes, the sampling using simple random sampling technique, so that class 4.1 was chosen as a sample of 20 students. Data were analyzed using statistical data analysis technique which consisted of editing, data tabulated stages, then presented and then presented in table form and described descriptively. The result showed a percentage of learning method 14,41%, the geographical location of the school 12,56%, phisycal indikator 11,78%, learning models 11,74%, talent 9,18%, learning models 8,54%, indikator of needs 6,28%, social competence 5,97%, building indikator 5,77%, personality competence 5,43%, and pedagogic competence 5,30%. It was concluded that the learning method was the most influential factor in the growth of student`s interest in learning at Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school grade 4.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas 4 SD  Islam Athirah Baruga Makassar berjumlah 74 orang siswa yang terdiri dari empat kelas, penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas 4.1 sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik yang terdiri dari tahap penyuntingan, input data, dan tahap tabulasi,selanjutnya dipersentasekan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase metode pembelajaran 14,41%, letak geografis sekolah (12,56%), indikator fisik (11,78%), model pembelajaran (11,74%), bakat (9,18%), model pembelajaran (8,54%), indikator kebutuhan (6,28%), kompetensi sosial (5,97%), indikator bangunan (5,77%), kompetensi kepribadian (5,43%), dan kompetensi pedagogik (5,30%).Disimpulkan bahwa, metode pembelajaran adalah faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.

This research is aimed to explore and find out the effect of military ethics and motivation on the national commitment of the soldiers of the Indonesian Army. The research is conducted on the soldiers in the rank of non-commissioned and enlisted soldiers at one of the Indonesian Army units in Jakarta. The data is collected with the survey method on the sample that comprises of 83 respondents which are taken with a simple random sampling technique. The data is analyzed quantitatively from an organizational behavior perspective with the Path Analysis technique utilizing SPSS 22 software. The test of normality and linearity of each regression between variables results in a normal distribution of residual and linearly related. The results of this research show that (1) military ethics has a positively direct effect on national commitment; (2) military ethics has a positively direct effect on motivation; (3) motivation has a positively direct effect on national commitment; (4) military ethics has an indirect effect on national commitment through motivation.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of work motivation and professional competence in improving the performance of Vocational High School teachers in Soppeng Regency, as well as which variables are most dominant in influencing the improvement of teacher performance. Researchers took a sample of 72 teachers from five vocational schools in Soppeng Regency with the sampling technique, namely random sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, meaning that if the work motivation is higher, the teacher's performance will also increase. In addition, professional competence also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, so that if professional competence is getting better, teacher performance will also increase. Researchers also found that work motivation is the most dominant variable affecting the improvement of teacher performance in schools. Keywords: Work Motivation, Professional Competence, Teacher Performance  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Soppeng, serta variabel manakah yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru. Peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 72 orang guru yang berasal dari lima SMK di Kabupaten Soppeng dengan teknik penentuan sampel yaitu dengan random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, artinya jika motivasi kerja semakin tinggi maka kinerja guru juga akan semakin meningkat. Disamping itu, kompetensi profesional juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, sehingga apabila kompetensi profesional semakin baik maka kinerja guru juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Peneliti juga menemukan bahwa motivasi kerja merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru di sekolah. Bandung is one of the cities which has many potentials in shopping tourism. Year after years the number of the shopping center in Bandung is increasing. Although shopping tourism in Bandung become the main destination for shopper but the customer loyalty is in a low state of condition. The customer more interest to try something new. So many new products that the competitors offered has caused the customers difficult to be loyal. By Creating the store attribute strategy is expected could increase the customer loyalty and could be more understand the shopper motives. This study is a descriptive and verificative and used explanatory survey method and cross sectional approach. The number of sample in this study were 111 respondents, those are the tourists who shopped in Bandung. The sampling technique that is used was simple random sampling. The Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The independent variable in this research is the store attribute (X) which has three dimensions, those are store atmosphere (X1), convenience (X2), merchandise (X3), promotion (X4), interpersonal communication (X5), while the dependent variable is the loyalty (Y). Tourist’s responses to store attribute and loyalty considered sufficiently high, the majority of tourist has a hedonic shopping motives.  Based on the result of this study, it shows that store attribute is influencing the tourist’s loyalty controlled by shopping motives.

This research aimed to investigate the effect of (1) personality, (2) motivation, (3) task performance of teachers in private elementary school subdistrict Kelapa Gading North Jakarta. Survey method with a quantitative-causal approach using Path Analysis Technique was used to in this research. This survey involving 84 teachers as a sample using simple random sampling technique by Slovin formula. The findings of this study indicated: first, there is a positive direct effect of personality toward task performance teachers in school. Second, there is a positive direct effect of motivation toward task performance teachers in school. Third, there is a positive direct effect of personality toward motivation teachers in school.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efek dari (1) kepribadian, (2) motivasi, (3) tugas kinerja guru pribadi SD Kecamatan Kelapa Gading Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif-kausal dengan teknik analisis jalur. Survei melibatkan 84 guru sebagai sampel yang menggunakan teknik sampel acak sederhana dengan rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pertama, terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepribadian terhadap kinerja tugas guru di sekolah. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh langsung positif motivasi terhadap kinerja tugas guru di sekolah. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepribadian terhadap motivasi guru di sekolah. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of clinical supervision and self-efficacy on teacher pedagogic competence. The place of research is at State Vocational High Schools in West Jakarta Administration City. This study used a survey method with path analysis techniques and a causal quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 72 teachers who were taken using simple random sampling technique or simple random sampling and the teacher who became the object of the research was determined using the sample technique formula from Slovin. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics by first doing the prerequisite analysis test, namely population normality and regression analysis. The findings from the study show that the success of school principals in the clinical supervision process will determine teacher pedagogical competence. Competent teachers can manage to learn well and increase student learning motivation so that learning objectives are achieved and produce students who excel in their fields. This can be achieved if the implementation of clinical supervision is carried out in the right and proper way.

Gekbrong Village is the only village in West Java designated as a pilot village in adaptation and mitigation of climate change programme called ‘Program kampung Iklim’ by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2013. Adaptation and mitigation to climate change are not gender-neutral as women and men have the capacity, role, and contribution in adaptation and mitigation to climate change differently. However, gender bias in the activities leads to an imbalance in the capacity of adaptation and mitigation across gender to deal with climate change effects. The overall objective of the study was to analyze the role of gender in agricultural households and to analyze the relationship between gender roles in agricultural households with gender equality in adaptation and mitigation of climate change in agricultural households. This research uses quantitative data by survey method by using simple random sampling technique analyzed by cross-tabulation and Rank Spearman supported by qualitative data with an in-depth interview.Keywords : climate change, gender role, Program Kampung IklimABSTRAK Desa Gekbrong merupakan satu-satunya desa di Jawa Barat yang ditunjuk sebagai desa percontohan dalam kegiatan upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi perubahan iklim pada Program Kampung Iklim oleh Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan di tahun 2013.  Pada dasarnya, adaptasi dan mitigasi perubahan iklim tidak netral gender karena perempuan dan laki-laki memiliki kapasitas, peran, dan berkontribusi secara berbeda. Namun adanya bias gender dalam penerapannya, upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi perubahan iklim menimbulkan ketidakadilan, salah satunya beban kerja ganda pada perempuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis hubungan antara karakteristik dan pembagian peran gender dalam rumah tangga pertanian dengan tingkat kesetaraan gender dalam upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif metode survey, diolah dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, dianalisis menggunakan tabulasi silang dan Rank Spearman, serta didukung data kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam.Kata Kunci : peran gender, perubahan iklim, Program Kampung Iklim

This study aims to examine the role of hardiness in moderating the effect of job insecurity on job stress. The research method used is quantitative causality. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The total respondents in this study were 142 honorary teachers at public elementary schools in Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. The data collection technique used a questionnaire consisting of three measuring scales, namely The Job Insecurity scale, The Job Stress Scale (JSS), and The Occupational Hardiness Questionnaire (OHQ). The data analysis technique uses the MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis) test. The results showed that job insecurity had a significant effect on job stress and hardiness could not moderate the effect of job insecurity on job stress. This shows that hardiness does not significantly affect in reducing the effect in the relation of job insecurity toward job stress.

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of stress and job satisfaction toward the Authorities of Education, Youth and Sport of Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Employee’s absenteeism. The research was conducted by using survey method with quantitative approach and path analysis technique. The population of this research is 103 personnel. Research samples selected as much as 82 personnel using simple random sampling technique. The data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed by using path analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis in this research it is concluded: (1) stress has direct positive effect to absenteeism; (2) job satisfaction has direct negative effect to absenteeism; (3) stress has negative effect to job satisfaction

The objective of this research is to know the effect of motivation and leadership effectiveness to productivity at vocational school in the subdistrict of West Cikarang Bekasi district. The research was conducted using survey method with path analysis technique. Research samples were selected as much as 74teachers using simple random sampling technique. The data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis techniques. Based on this research of data obtained the following conclusions: First, the motivation have positive direct effect to productivity. That is, improvement of motivation will lead to increased productivity. Second, the leadership effectiveness have positive direct effect to productivity. That is, improvement of leadership effectiveness will lead to increased productivity. Third, motivation have positive direct effect to the leadership effectiveness. The productivity can be improved by increasing motivation and leadership effectiveness.
