The quality of education is largely determined by good school management by supervisors for a better quality of learning, not least in Vocational High Schools. This type of research is qualitative with a case study research design. The main target of this research is supervisors of vocational schools in Padang city. This research is limited to describing qualitatively the supervision process and identifying the constraints that occur in supervision. The data source of this research is from key informants, purposively. Data collection techniques with interview and observation techniques. Data analysis by coding, linking and, interpreting themes. The results of the research are the low professionalism of school supervisors and the low appreciation of the school supervisor profession. The conclusion is that the constraints were basically the result of improper recruitment patterns and were exacerbated by weak control mechanisms.

This study uses qualitative research, with the type of multi-case study research. The main data source in this study was obtained by snowball sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used three techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The locations used as research sites were State Elementary School Babatan I and State Elementary School Wiyung, which are partnering with USAID Prioritas. State Elementary School Babatan I before partnering with USAID was accredited B, but after partnering with USAID accredited A in 2016. State Elementary School Wiyung was able to maintain its accreditation after partnering with USAID. The conclusion of this study states that improving the quality of education in State Elementary School Babatan I and State Elementary School Wiyung has been reached. This can be seen from the acceleration of changes in both physical development, and human resources, especially teachers and students both in quantity and quality.

AbstractAccreditation is one of the governments to improve the quality of education. Likewise, to ensure the quality of education at the PAUD and PNF levels, the government held an accreditation program. However, it still has issues that need to be resolved. This study aims to identify and describe the problems of accreditation and quality mapping in the Education Office of Kulonprogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. Based on the results of this research, in mapping the quality of accreditation in PAUD and PNF in Kulonprogo Regency, the first activity carried out was to conduct a quality mapping analysis of each institution. And the results show that the average standard kindergarten, KB, Pos PAUD, LPK and PKBM institutions that must be supervised strictly is the standard of financing. After conducting the analysis, a workshop was conducted with the Dikpora and all PAUD and PNF heads. Keywords: Quality mapping, accreditation, PAUD, PNF.

An important role in academic supervision at MA Al Muhmmad Cepu is an effort to improve the quality of education at madrasas, researchers use exploratory case study research methods, through observation, interviews, and document studies on the implementation of supervision at MA Al Muhammad Cepu, the data is analyzed descriptively. The results of the study are; 1. In carrying out supervision, the madrasah principal makes plans, schedules, and instruments, and implements the principles of supervision. 2. The general objective of this research is to support and analyze the management of educational funding in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bandung. The specific objectives in this study, namely: 1) To identify the management of educational funding at SMK in Bandung, 2) To identify the quality of SMK in the city of Bandung, and 3) To find out the role of financial management in improving the quality of education in SMK. This study is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data source is taken from 32 school principals. The results showed that the management of educational funding had a positive and significant effect on school quality that was equal to 58.7%. The regression equation that is obtained linearly means that the higher the management of education funding, the higher the quality of schools in Vocational High Schools in Bandung.

This study assesses the quality of Chinese outbound FDI data. In our case study of the Netherlands, we checked the data quality of the often-used Orbis/Amadeus database and its data source, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel, KVK), which has one of the oldest and, arguably, one of the better databases within Europe. We analysed Chinese investments in the Netherlands and show that six adjustments are necessary to clean up the data. We also show that not making these adjustments can significantly impact the outcome of research. The cleaned-up data show that sampled Chinese firms are young, small, and private.

Abstract One strategy of communities to easily embrace ecological awareness is by involving directly in the improvement of their environmental quality. This paper discusses the case study research of the co-design process of the neighborhood regeneration project in Kampung Tongkol at the Ciliwung riverbank, Jakarta. This project is carried out collaboratively involving residents of the area and facilitated by ASF (Architecture Sans Frontières) Indonesia. The main important object of this regeneration project is the construction of a self-supporting sample house. This house aims as an ideal model which another neighborhood can replicate. Residents are directly involved in the organizing, the design process, to the construction stage. The primary purpose of regeneration is to improve the quality of the residential environment. The principles of sustainable design are employed as the main guidance from the beginning of the process. This study concludes that the final achievement of this project not only results in a higher quality environment but also raises the ecological awareness of the residents of the neighborhood.

Teachers every day face to face with students in the learning process. Therefore qualified teachers are needed by every school. Improving the quality of education in schools requires professional and systematic education in achieving their goals. The effectiveness of educational activities in a school is influenced by the number of variables (both related to personal, operational, and material aspects) that need to get continuous coaching and development. The process of coaching and developing the whole situation is an education supervision study. The principal as the school leader has the obligation to foster the ability of the teachers. Building an effective online course requires an understanding of learning analytics. The study assumes significance in the COVID 19 pandemic situation as there is a sudden surge in online courses. Analysis of the online course using the data generated from the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), Google Forms and Google Analytics was carried out to understand the tenants of an effective online course. About 515 learners participated in the initial pre-training needs & expectations’ survey and 472 learners gave feedback at the end, apart from the real-time data generated from LMS and Google Analytics during the course period. This case study analysed online learning behaviour and the supporting learning environment and suggest critical factors to be at the centre stage in the design and development of online courses; leads to the improved online learning experience and thus the quality of education. User needs, quality of resources and effectiveness of online courses are equally important in taking further online courses.
