Visual Language is a knowledge that can be used to interpret various images those presented without text. Primadi Tabrani divides this Visual Language into 2 systems, the visual language system called NPM (Naturalist-Perspective-Momenopname) and another visual language system is STP (Space-Time-Plane). At this time which the technological progress has been developing very rapidly, we met many types of images, not just still images, but also moving images such as animated films, one of them is Death Of The Firstborn Egyptians directed by Nina Paley. This research uses qualitative method and uses the Visual Language Theory in analyzing the various visual towards the visuals of this film. The results of a visual study of this film revealed that there was a slice between Modern ‘Tata Ungkap Dalam’ and Traditional ‘Tata Ungkap Dalam’. Meanwhile,  the researh found that Modern ‘Tata Ungkap Luar’ is dominantly use on the film. Thus it can be concluded that the RWD visual language system is not used to produce traditional images only, but also can be combined with NPM visual language system, those could enrich the result of finishing visual.

[Model of a Film Fairy Tale in the Disney Golden Age (with Later Modifications)] The article attempts to determine the constitutive elements of a model film fairy tale in the so-called Disney Golden Age and to examine how it was used in later works, both these created by the studio and those by unrelated creators. After preliminary remarks, the author analyses three feature-length animated films: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Cinderella (1950), and Sleeping Beauty (1959). In these works, as he notes, one can notice a set of features that make up the classic Disney model of a film fairy tale. Next, the author discusses modifications applied to the pattern during the Disney Renaissance and Revival. Finally, he cites examples of cultural texts polemical to this paradigm which point to the cultural vitality and heterogeneity of the studio’s films.

This study aims: To determine differences in learning outcomes of students of class X by using media power point To determine the differences in the results of class X student using animation media. This type of research used in this research that the type of research experiments. The subjects of this study consisted of an experiment I, using media power point and experimental group II were using media animation using animasi.Populasi media in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng. Sampling with purposive sampling technique, so the sample is X.is.1 class and X.is.2 SMAN 2 Bantaengdengan consideration the average value of report cards are not much different for subjects geografi.Instrumen research use tests and assignments, while analysis Data processed by using the t test. The results showed that : Results of study on X.is.1 class based on learning outcomes obtained 28.40 .While X.is.2 33,80. tcount>ttable)(t=5,22and table = 7.42)Dari these data it can be concluded that the use of media is more animated films increased compared to the use of media slides ( power point ).

При помощи сравнительно-исторического анализа автор исследует азербайджанские мультипликационные фильмы, экранизирующие произведения как отечественной, так и зарубежной литературы. В процессе создания каждого рисованного мультфильма советской эпохи принимали участие профессиональные режиссеры, сценаристы, художники-постановщики, снимавшие анимационные фильмы по произведениям азербайджанских писателей-классиков, среди которых – Низами Гянджеви, Мухаммед Физули, Сеид Азим Ширвани, Мирза Алекпер Сабир, Джалил Мамедкулизаде, Абдулла Шаиг, Сулейман Сами Ахундов, Али Керим, Расул Рза. К числу азербайджанских мультфильмов, снятых по произведениям зарубежной литературы, относится экранизация «Звездных дневников Ийона Тихого» и анимационный фильм по мотивам японских хайку. Азербайджанские мультфильмы по мотивам литературных произведений, вошедшие в золотой фонд киноискусства Азербайджана, отличаются специфическим творческим методом. Using a comparative historical analysis, the author explores Azerbaijani cartoon films that screen works of both domestic and foreign literature. In the process of creating each Soviet-era drawn cartoon, professional directors, screenwriters, and production designers took part in making animated films based on the works of Azerbaijani classic writers, such as Nizami Ganjavi, Mohammad Fuzuli, Seyid Azim Shirvani, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Abdulla Shaig, Suleyman Sani Akhundov, Ali Kerim, Rasul Rza. Azerbaijani cartoons based on works of foreign literature include the adaptation of «Ijon Tichy’s Star Diaries» and an animated film based on Japanese haiku. Azerbaijani cartoons based on literary works included in the Golden Fund of cinema art of Azerbaijan are distinguished by a specific creative method.

There is no doubt that having good characters is essential to everyone in society. Character is even a major consideration in the world of education. For this reason, character building is considered important to be explored. By using entertainment media such as movie, this library research concentrates on the character building symbolized through the American animation films Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019). Besides the main data from the films, reference sources in the form of books and journals were also used for analysis. Hall’s theory of representation was applied to analyze the data gathered for this study such as dialogs and the description of scenes from the films to identify how the character building is represented through the films as well as to understand the essence of character building. The result showed that the animation films observed in this study can represent good characters through seven values such as bravery, politeness, sacrifice, empathy, curiosity, confidence, and caring. Additionally, this study also reveals that the concept of character is associated with life values, morality and attitude and therefore, character building is significant to shape people with quality in order to create peace and harmony in society. Through this study, it expected that the findings can contribute to the development of the theory in humanities and education and it can provide better understanding to people about character building through American animated films.

<p>Art direction is crucial for films and games to maintain a cohesive visual style. This involves carefully controlling visual elements like lighting and colour to unify the director's vision of a story. With today's computer graphics (CG) technology 3D animated films and games have become increasingly photorealistic. Unfortunately, art direction using CG tools remains laborious. Since realistic lighting can go against artistic intentions, art direction is almost impossible to preserve in real-time and interactive applications. New live applications like augmented and mixed reality (AR and MR) now demand automatically art-directed compositing in unpredictably changing real-world lighting. </p> <p>This thesis addresses the problem of dynamically art-directed 3D composition into real scenes. Realism is a basic component of art direction, so we begin by optimising scene geometry capture in realistic composites. We find low perceptual thresholds to retain perceived seamlessness with respect to optimised real-scene fidelity. We then propose new techniques for automatically preserving art-directed appearance and shading for virtual 3D characters. Our methods allow artists to specify their intended appearance for different lighting conditions. Unlike with previous work, artists can direct and animate stylistic edits to automatically adapt to changing real-world environments. We achieve this with a new framework for look development and art direction using a novel latent space of varied lighting conditions. For more dynamic stylised lighting, we also propose a new framework for art-directing stylised shadows using novel parametric shadow editing primitives. This is a first approach that preserves art direction and stylisation under varied lighting in AR/MR.</p>
