The purpose of this research is to produce a mathematics learning tool in the form of the lesson plan and student's worksheet using the guided discovery method on the circle material of class VIII junior high school which has been tested valid. This development refers to the Research and Development (R&D) model which includes 10 stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, design revisions, usage trials, product revisions, and mass production. Modified according to the needs of this research into 6 stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and final product. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis technique. The validation sheet was used as a data collection instrument in this research. The validation sheet is filled out by 3 validators consisting of 2 lecturers of the mathematics education study program FKIP UIR and 1 mathematics teacher. Based on the results of the lesson plan validation, a percentage of 85.6% was obtained with very valid criteria, while the students’ worksheet validation results were 82.6% with fairly valid criteria. This research concludes that mathematics learning tools have been obtained using the guided discovery method in class VII junior high school on the circle material which has been tested valid.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika untuk sekolah menengah pertama yaitu kurikulum Silabus, Rencana Pembelajaran dan Lembar Kerja Siswa 2013 tentang statistik dan probabilitas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan oleh Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono (2008) melalui langkah-langkah: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba kelompok kecil; (7) revisi produk; (8) uji coba kelompok besar; (9) revisi produk. Pada tahap potensi dan masalah, para peneliti melakukan analisis potensi dan masalah. Kemudian, peneliti mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan sebagai referensi untuk desain perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang akan dikembangkan. Desain perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh tiga validator dan direvisi berdasarkan saran validator. Hasil perancangan perangkat pembelajaran kemudian diujicobakan dalam uji coba kelompok kecil yang subjeknya 8 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. Setelah dicoba dalam uji coba kelompok kecil, kemudian direvisi berdasarkan kuesioner dari siswa yang mengikuti uji coba kelompok kecil. Setelah itu, para peneliti melakukan uji coba dalam kelompok besar yang subjeknya adalah 39 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, direvisi lagi dan disempurnakan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan diskusi data, perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan valid yang nilai untuk Silabus adalah 3,39, rata-rata nilai untuk 5 Rencana Pelajaran adalah 3,41. Nilai rata-rata untuk 5 Lembar Kerja Siswa adalah 3,34. Lembar Kerja Siswa yang telah dikembangkan adalah persyaratan praktis yang memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan oleh siswa sekolah menengah pertama.   This research aimed to develop mathematics learning device for junior high school that are Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Students Worksheet curriculum 2013 on statistics and probability by used problem based learning model. Then, researchers collect the necessary data as reference to design of mathematics learning device that will be developed. Design of learning device that had been developed then validated by three validators and revised based on validator suggestion. The result of learning device design and then try out in small group trial which subjects are 8 students of VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. After try out in small group trial, then it revised based on questionnaire from the students who take the small group trial. After that, the researchers conducted try out in large group trial which subjects are 39 students of VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, revised again and refined. Based on result of data analysis and discussion, learning device that had been developed is valid which value for Syllabus is 3,39, the average of value for 5 Lesson Plan are 3,41. The average of value for 5 Students Worksheet are 3,34. Students Worksheet that had been developed is qualify practical requirement to used by students of junior high school.

The goal of the research to describe of development of card media with scientificapproach on mathematics lesson, and show the practical and effectivity of cardmedia with scientific approach. The research's model use Borg and Gall model.The steps of the research are : analyze of potential and problem, the collect ofdata, product design, design validation and revision of design. Trying of test wasconducted to know the effectivity of card media. The instrument use observationsheet, questionnaire, and observation sheet of test's trying. The design of validation'sresult show that media is valid and it can apply on the teaching learning. Theresult of test's trying show that card media is practical to use as mathematicslearning's media. Beside that, the student classical of total's percentage after do thetest show that media is effective to use as teaching learning.

The purpose of the study was to apply the guided discovery method to the learning of Mathematics of Class VIII Students of Muhammadiyah Middle School 2 Tugumulyo. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method (Quasi experiment) which was carried out in an experimental class without a comparison group (control group). The population was the eighth grade students of junior high school with the total number 127 students. The sample was the students of VIII.b class which was taken randomly by means of gambling. Data analysis used in this research was t test, obtained thit = 2.92> ttab = 1.69, so that students' mathematical learning outcomes after the implimentation of guided discovery methods had been completed. The score of the average learning value of students using guided discovery method was 80.80. In conclusion, the implementation of guided learning methods was very appropriate in mathematics learning. This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media using ethnomathematics based Powtoon applications. This study is using the Borg and Gall development model. Media development is carried out on the material of a flat triangle and quadrilateral of Class VII Junior High School. Data collection instruments used were media expert questionnaires, material experts used to test the quality of mathematics-based Powtoon learning media, and student response questionnaires to test interest in the developed media. Data collection methods used the form of interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This research resulted in ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media. The results of the assessment by media experts scored 88% in the very feasible category, the assessment of the material experts obtained a score of 87% in the very feasible category, while based on trials in class VII students of Ma'arif 1 Metro SMP which amounted to 22 students obtained a score of 80% with the eligible category. The development of ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media is feasible and can be used by teachers and students as learning media.

The topic Nutrition and Energy Transformation concepts are abstract and difficult to comprehend. To overcome such a difficulty, it is necessary to develop a set of instructional package incorporating Macromedia flash. The Dick and Carey instructional development model was used for that purpose. Before the implementation of the instructional programs, all of the components of the instructional package consisted of lesson implementation plan, media, student worksheet Guided discovery type, student workbook, and assesment intrument, were validated and met the prescribed criteria. Implementation in the school only observe one class without replication. Thirty Junior High School Students involvedin this investigation using One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Result of this research shows the lesson plan is good (3,5), learning modul is good (3,0), student worksheet type Guided discovery is good (3,5), media is good (3,5), and student achievement mastery also good (3,0). Implementation lesson plan in class using direct instruction is good (3,67), with reliability around 82% (good/reliable). Student activity commonly is good (13,25) with reliable average 92%. Student respon is good, above 83%. Student achievement increase with Gain score above 0.7. The result of observation of the teaching and learning process, conducted during its implementation, showed that there was a consistency betweenthe prescribed teaching and learning experienced with its implementation. Students had met the 80% minimum mastery criteria. So it can be concluded that the development instructional package is effective to increase the junior High School student achievement. Materi proses perolehan nutrisi dan transformasi energi pada tumbuhan hijau sulit dipahami oleh siswa karena bersifat abstrak, sehingga tidak dapat dilihat secara nyata. Atas dasar itu, perlu kiranya mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan bantuan tampilan media Macro flash. Untuk itu, telah dilakukan suatu penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, yang berorientasi Dick and Carey dan bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada satu kelas saja, tanpa melakukan ulangan. Subyek penelitian 30 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya, dengan rancangan Short Case Pretest-Postest, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penilaian RPP baik (3,5), BAS baik (3,0), LKS bercirikan Guided discovery baik (3,5), media baik (3,5) dan tes hasil belajar baik (3,0). Pengelolaan pelaksanaan di kelas dengan pembelajaran langsung termasuk baik (3,67) dengan reliabilitas 82% (baik/reliabel). Aktivitas siswa secara umum baik (13,25)dengan reliabilitas rata-rata 92%. Respon siswa secara umum tertarik sebesar 83% lebih. Tes hasil belajar menunjukan peningkatan tinggi dengan Gain score diatas 0,7. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Macromedia flash di SMP, layak digunakan, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas dan respon siswa baik, serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This study aims to determine and identify the development of audio-visual media for  news text learning at SMP Negeri 2 Lawang Kidul Tanjung Enim, to find out and identify the results of the validation of audio-visual media for news texts learning for students of SMP Negeri 2 Lawang Kidul Tanjung Enim, and to find out and identify the results of news text learning for students of SMP Negeri 2 Lawang Kidul Tanjung Enim after the application of audio-visual media. The design of audio-visual media for learning news text for students of SMP Negeri 2 Lawang Kidul Tanjung Enim which has been accepted by the experts is feasible to be tested. This study used research and development methods. The research and development steps consist of 10 stages which includes problem identification, data collection, product design (Initial Draft), expert validation, design improvement, small group trials, product revisions, large group trials, product revisions, and final production The results of the validation of media experts, material experts and language experts on the development of audio-visual media products for learning news texts for students at the State Junior High School 2 Lawang Kidul Tanjung Enim are in the very good category. Applied audio-visual media has increased the criteria for being very effective.

The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the needs of Javanese junior high school language students and teachers in Banyumas on the Banyumasan dialogue text enrichment book based on sublime pupuh Gambuh, (2) to make a prototype draft Banyumasan dialogue text enrichment book based on sublime pupuh Gambuh, and (3 ) describe the results of the prototype validation of Banyumasan dialogue text enrichment book based on sublime pupuh Gambuh. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) method. The development phase of the Banyumasan dialog text enrichment book based on the subline pupuh gambuh picture refers to the steps of Sugiyono (2010: 409) which are tailored to the research needs, namely: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4 ) product validation, and (5) product revisions. This study produced a Banyumasan dialog text enrichment book based on the advice of pupuh gambuh.

This research aims to develop an Junior High School mathematics learning kit that supports character education, consisting of reasonable syllabus, lesson plan, worksheets, quizzes, and learning achievement test (THB). The research consists of five phases: (1) need analysis and objectives formulation, (2) design/product development, (3) product trial out, (4) product revision, and (5) final product evaluation. The results of the needs analysis show that learning kits that support the students' mathematical competence, especially  geometry needs to be increased. While the character education is an important element in the the students personality formation, so the products develop to support character education, that consist of syllabus, lesson plan, worksheets, quizzes, and THB. The trials evaluation of the research are conducted by an expert judgment, small trials, and field trials. The subject of the research are 31 grade seven students of the First Public Junior High School of Pundong. The result of this study shows that the products is reasonable to be used. This result can be seen from the result of expert validation that the product is valid, the teacher assessment, students’ feedback, learning implementation  observation percentage  which show that the product meets with the practical criteria and the result of product implementation produce students to attain the minimum completeness criteria and have characters development which show that the product is effective. Keywords: development, learning kit, character education

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP dengan pendekatan contextual guided inquiry pada materi bangun ruang untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa, yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa RPP yang memuat langkah-langkah pendekatan contextual guided inquiry dan LKS yang memuat materi kontekstual dan langkah-langkah penemuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan  yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan Dick & Carey. Model pengembangan Dick & Carey dimodifikasi sehingga menghasilkan 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan perumusan tujuan; desain/pengembangan produk; uji coba produk; revisi produk serta produk akhir. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 73 siswa  kelas IX SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain lembar validasi RPP dan LKS, lembar penilaian guru dan lembar tanggapan siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajran, tes prestasi belajar serta angket motivasi siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor aktual yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Dari hasil validasi ahli, skor penilaian guru, tanggapan siswa, observasi pembelajaran, angket motivasi dan tes prestasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran adalah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dengan demikian, secara keseluruhan penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Developing Instructional Kits by Using the Contextual Guided Inquiry Approach to Increase Motivation and Learning Achievement of Mathematics AbstractThis research aimed to produce mathematics instructional kits of junior high school by using contextual guided inquiry (CGI) on the topic of space building which is valid, practical and effective  for increasing the motivation and mathematics learning achievement. The developed products are lesson plan which contained with the steps of CGI approach and worksheet which contained the material developed and measures contextual discovery. This study was research and development adapted from Dick and Carey development methodology. The modified of this model resulted 5 stages of development steps, i.e. the needed analysis and the formulation of the goals; design/development of the product;test of the product; revision of the product as well as the final product. The subjects of this study are 73 grade 9 students of Abu Bakar Islamic private junior high school Yogyakarta. The instrument used in this research include validation sheet, teacher and students response sheets, observation sheet, achievement test and motivation questionnaire. The data analysis was done by converting the actual score into qualitative data with standard scale of five. Based on the results of validation experts, teacher’s appraisal, students’ response, learning observation, motivation questionnaires and achievement test the developed products are valid, practical and effective. In general, this study has shown that the developed products are reliable to be used as they fulfill the valid, practical and effectiveness aspects.
