This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media using ethnomathematics based Powtoon applications. This study is using the Borg and Gall development model. Media development is carried out on the material of a flat triangle and quadrilateral of Class VII Junior High School. Data collection instruments used were media expert questionnaires, material experts used to test the quality of mathematics-based Powtoon learning media, and student response questionnaires to test interest in the developed media. Data collection methods used the form of interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This research resulted in ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media. The results of the assessment by media experts scored 88% in the very feasible category, the assessment of the material experts obtained a score of 87% in the very feasible category, while based on trials in class VII students of Ma'arif 1 Metro SMP which amounted to 22 students obtained a score of 80% with the eligible category. The development of ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media is feasible and can be used by teachers and students as learning media.

This research aims to know the process and the result of the development of Mathematics Learning Instruments for ethnomathematics based curved space chapter with the help of the Google Form aplication as a support for online learning. This research is development research. Learning instruments development model refers to four D models. The product of this research are teaching materials, student’s worksheet, and evaluation test. This research took place at IX A of junior high school 2 Puger, Jember with consist 36 students. The data collection methods used in this research are the interview, test, and questionnaire. Based on data analysis, this research has three result. First, the learning instrument developed have valid criteria. Secondly, the learning instrument developed have practical criteria based on interview and student’s responses. Third, the learning instrument developed have effective criteria based on student’s score and student’s positive responses.

            The purpose of this study is to describe the process and results of the development of Student Worksheets (LKS) with the ethnomatematics approach of triangular flat figure material. This type of research is development. This research was conducted on seventh grade students at MTs Al-Azhar Kaliwates Jember. The data collection methods used are documentation, observation, interviews and tests. The development model used adopted the 4D model developed by Tiagrajan through the stages of defining, designing, developing and distributing. ABSTRACT  Management is a process of activities that are planned and carried out intentionally and continuously to all students in the relevant educational institutions in order to be able to participate in the learning and teaching process effectively and efficiently.  Learning achievement is the level of humanity students have in accepting, rejecting and assessing the information obtained in the teaching and learning process.  A person's learning achievement is in accordance with the level of success of something in learning subject matter which is expressed in the form of grades or report cards for each field of study after experiencing the teaching and learning process.  This study aims to determine the extent of implementation, acceptance, student management, efforts made, as well as the implications of the application of student management in At-Thiriiriah Junior High School in improving the quality of students.  This study uses a qualitative approach using a type of case study research by taking a background in At-Thiriahah Junior High School, Gunung Bunder I, Pamijahan, Bogor.  Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation.  Data analysis uses descriptive analysis method.  Based on the process of data collection and data analysis, researchers can conclude several things including: (1) The application of student management that takes place at At-Thiriahah IT Junior High is classified as good, where the concept of student management starts from the  planning and implementation of new students, monitoring or control and evaluation can be applied by all at IT Thohiriah Junior High School.  (2) In an effort made by schools related to student management to improve the quality of students in At-Thiriahah Junior High School, among others: improving discipline including a).  At-Thiriahah Junior High School students arrive at 07.00 WIB, b) Wearing Uniforms.  (3) As for the implications of the implementation of student management to improve the quality of students in At-Thiriah Gunung Bunder I Junior High School, seen from the academic achievement in the form of UN scores that have increased, non-academic achievements achieved  by At-Thiriahah IT Middle School students have also increased, and graduates of At-Thiriiriah IT Middle School were accepted into public and private schools.  Keywords: Student Management, Academic Quality of Students

This research aims at describing clearly about the contribution of using rubric as alternative assessment towards students learning motivation. This research was conducted at Dian Harapan Karawaci in grade IX junior high school. This is a descriptive qualitative research, the data collection uses interview, questionnaire, and documents. The interview involved five science teachers (who teach physics, biology, and chemistry) and 15 students of grade IX. The data in the form of questionnaire were gathered from teachers and students, analyzed by using statistic in order to obtain the percentage of answer from the teachers and students. It is concluded that the rubric of assessment has close relationship with students learning motivation. In its contribution, rubric as a means of assessment is able to motivate students learning.

This study aims to describe the profile of the implementation of mathematics learning in the class, the challenges that the teachers did, and the efforts which did is to overcome the challenges in the credit semester system in mathematics learning activities. The research subjects are the students and mathematics teachers of X class in SMA 1 Jember. Data collection methods used documentation, observation, and interview. Based on the results of research that can be proven by mathematical learning in the implementation of the Credit Semester System described based on learning planning, learning activities, and the authentic answer. The mathematics teacher make a preparation by compiling lesson plans that guided by the 2013 Curriculum RPP and compiling the UKBM that adapted to appropriate scientific indicators. In the implementation of learning, the teacher carries out learning activities by applying scientific request. The assessment also adjusted to the 2013 Curriculum indicators. The teacher's assessment consisted of the preparation of the Credit Semester System, students' readiness, and conversation. Efforts which did is to overcome these challenges are by conducting socialization and MGMP as well as providing motivation and stimulus to students while conducting learning activities.

In the 2019 survey, 82.2% of teachers never participated in media training, especially learning media based on geogebra technology. Meanwhile, 92.8% of teachers stated that mathematics requires learning media. The low quality of education in NTB requires special attention from both the government and the private sector, so it is important to conduct technology-based learning media training in order to improve the quality of education, especially improving the quality of teachers. The training was carried out using offline and online methods for two days, 19 and 20 August 2021 at SMPN 16 Mataram. The training was attended by 22 participants from junior high school mathematics teachers in the city of Mataram. In the implementation of the training, an evaluation was carried out using questionnaires and observations. The conclusions from the results of the service were as follows: Geogebra training as a medium for learning mathematics for SMP teachers in the city of Mataram in 2021 received a very good response and was well received by the teachers. Geogebra training as a medium for learning mathematics for junior high school teachers in the city of Mataram in 2021 is very in line with what is expected by mathematics teachers in the City of Mataram and increases teacher competence in the context of applying technology in learning to develop technology-based mathematics learning media.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan pendekatan saintifik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran.Kualitas perangkat pembelajaran terdiri dari tiga kriteria berikut: (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, dan (3) keefektifan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri atas RPP, LKS dan instrumen penilaian aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut:(1)perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kevalidanberdasarkan hasil validasi ahli; (2) perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh guru, penilaian oleh siswa, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran.; (3) perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik. Developing Mathematics Instructional Materials for 8th Grade Students of Junior High School in Their Second Semester Based on the Scientific Approach AbstractThe aim of this study is  to produce mathematics instructional materials for 8thgrade students of junior high school in their second semester based on the scientific approach which is valid, practical, and effective.This study was a research and development study using the Four-D development model consisting of fourstages: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop,and (4) disseminate.The quality of instructional materials consisting of the following three criterion: (1) validity, (2) practicality, and (3) effectiveness, The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive quantitative analysis. The research produced instructional materials consisting of lesson plans, student worksheets and assesment instrument for attitude, knowledge and skill aspects. The result of the research shows that: (1) the instructional materials fulfill the validity criteria base on experts’ appraisal; (2) the instructional materials fulfill the practicality criterion base on teacher’sassesment, students’ assessment, and  learning implementation; (3)the instructional materials fulfill the effectiveness criterion base on student learning achievement in attitude, knowledge and skill aspects.Keywords: development, instructional materials, scientific approach.

This study aims to determine the understanding of teachers and students about school-based management in the State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya. The study involved 56 teachers and 248 students as research samples. The technique of collecting data in this study is by spreading the questionnaire, interviews, and documenting the necessary data. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that teachers and students at State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya has had an understanding of school-based management which is proven by the answer of the questionnaire. Teacher understanding is in good category with a percentage yield of 71.63% and student understanding is in category enough with a percentage yield of 59.87%. In the future State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya to make more efforts to improve the quality of teachers and students through workshops, trainings, and education seminars on school-based management, so that teachers and students better understand the understanding and implementation of school-based management, so that it is created a sense of having each other in school to improve the quality of education.

The purpose of this study was to develop a realistic worksheet using the Ethnomatematics on SPLDV material and to determine the quality of worksheets in terms of validity and practicality. The method used in this study is the Research and Dependency (R&D) method which is a developmental study referring to the 4-D development model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate modified to 3-D. The instruments used to measure the quality of worksheets that were developed include validation sheets, and practicality questionnaires. The product of this research is a realistic worksheet using ethnomatematics context on SPLDV material with the advice of eighth grade students of junior high school. The results showed that: (1) the quality of worksheets seen from the validity aspects included in the valid category with an overall average score of 3.06; and (2) the quality of worksheets seen from the practical aspect is categorized very practical with an overall average score of 3.5. Conclusion, the development of PMRI-based worksheets in the context of ethnomatematics in SPLDV material was declared valid and practically used by students. The module is a means of delivering material to students and a supporting tool in the learning process. The teaching materials used are also expected to be able to build the values ​​and morality of each student through learning the integration of science and religion, one of which is by using teaching materials based on the Qur'an and Hadith. This study aims to develop teaching materials in mathematics learning in the form of modules based on the Qur'an and Hadith. This type of research is research and development using the Borg & Gall development model. The development of the module is carried out on the fractional number material for class VII Islamic Junior High School (MTs). The data collection instruments used in this study were a questionnaire from media experts, material experts, and religious experts who were used to test the quality of the mathematics module based on the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as a questionnaire response from educators and students who were used to test interest in the developed module. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. This research produces a product in the form of a mathematical module based on the Qur'an and Hadith. In learning using a mathematics module based on the Qur'an and Hadith in grade VII Takhasus MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Dayamurni can improve students' mathematical understanding at a moderate level. Learning using a mathematics module based on the Qur'an and Hadith can shape students' religious attitudes.
