Airport is a facility to accommodate arrivals and departures as well as aircraft movements that have the potential to cause noise impacts. This research was conducted to obtain opinions from the public regarding the noise that occurs around Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung, Indonesia. In addition, the determination of the airport noise area was also carried out using the Weighted Equivalent Continuous Perceived Noise Level (WECPNL) method. There are 12 measurement points, namely at distances of 100 m, 500 m, and 1500 m in each of the North, East, South, and West directions. Opinions regarding the noise that occurred were obtained from 150 respondents from the community around the airport. The results of the study can be concluded that the highest WECPNL index value is found on the 100 m runway, the WECPNL index value is 76.39, the 500 m distance the WECPNL index value is 62.71, and the 1500 m distance the WECPNL index value is 52.74. The results of the WECPNL index at Husein Sastranegara International Airport Bandung have a level 2 noise area where school buildings and settlements should not be allowed. The results of the interviews show that as many as 54% of respondents feel disturbed by the noise caused by the activities of Husein Sastranegara Airport.

The effectiveness of the strike weapon in early-nineteenth-century England depended in some measure upon the response of public opinion. Obviously the state of trade and the relative cohesion and determination of masters and men were more significant factors, but the attitude of non-participants could not be discounted. The readiness of civil and military authorities to intervene, the reaction of the general public to requests for contributions to relief funds, the willingness of politicians to contemplate changes in the laws concerning combination: all these were influenced by the state of public opinion. It would be an oversimplification to regard “public opinion” and “newspaper opinion” as synonymous. The platform, the pulpit, the placard and the popular song were other means of public expression, not that they necessarily provided a complete or reliable guide to the public mind. Nevertheless the newspaper, particularly in the nineteenth century, was in an advantageous position to influence the response of the public to current controversies.

Purpose: Determination of the peculiarities of the behavior and the flow of childbirth in females (wrenches) of the northern home deer of the Even Breed of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), depending on the natural climatic zone of breeding.Material and research methods. Research of the reservation of the hotel's reservoir of the northern home deer was held from April to June in the reindeer herds of the mountain-taiga (FSUE «Yuchjuyuskoye») and the Tundrov zones (SHPZK «Taba-Yana») of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the conditions of nomadic home reindeer herding since 2013 2018 In the study, the method of observation is used with the registration of motor activity of animals and the activities of individual bodies in a certain living environment.Results. To fix some patterns and species features of the generic process, 8 main elementary behavioral reactions spent venizables of northern domestic deer per day before childbirth: walking, feeding feed, chewing, leisure standing, rest lying, sleep, urination (how many times / total time), defecation (how many times / total time). Also marked 4 behavioral reactions on the hotel day: the exploitation time of the fetus, the licking of the calf, the time of the calf on his feet after delivery, the first reception of the mosper calf after birth. For each parameter, data reflected in tabular format is obtained.Conclusion. It has been established that the degree of adaptation of the northern domestic deer to the harsh conditions of existence in various natural-climatic zones of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is very high, which is manifested in a minor difference in the duration of the generic process and behavioral reactions at the vainer of the mountain and tundra and tundra dilution zones.

The closure of large psychiatric hospitals and the opening of community-based mental health facilities is a central part of British health policy for the care of people with mental illness. The North East Thames Regional Health Authority's (NETRHA) psychiatric hospitals closure plan started in 1985. As part of this a programme was established to assess the closure process (Leff, 1993). This study was carried out between 1988 and 1992 and was designed to study the reactions of the public to the hospital closure decision (Reda, 1993).

The flood extent in the lower Biebrza basin calculated by the 1D flow model for different land use scenarios The flood extent in the lower Biebrza basin calculated by the 1D flow model for different land use scenarios. An application of an steady 1D flow model for determination of a flood extent in the natural river valley is discussed in this paper. The Pasche method was used to calculate the total Darcy-Weisbach friction factor for each cross section according to the type of vegetation and flow interaction between the main channel and vegetated areas. In this approach friction caused by interaction between the main channel and vegetated areas are taken into account. The model was applied to the Biebrza Valley, fairly undisturbed river-marginal peatland, located in the north-east of Poland. Actual land use carried out in the National Park was analyzed to determine the influence of changes in the vegetation structure on the flood extent in the river valley. The obtained results show variation of a flooded area in relation to the vegetation of the floodplain.

IPSSEOA “via De Gasperi” is a hotel management high school specialized in reception and “enogastronomy” (food and wine). Over 750 students are divided into different sections according to specialization and study for five years. The school is located in Palombara Sabina, in the north east province of Rome, on the edge of a protected area of regional interest, Parco Naturale Regionale dei Monti Lucretili. For several years the school has been carrying out environmental education programs oriented towards sustainability and the acquisition of good environmental habits by students and their families through targeted projects, workshops and excursions.

We believe that an educational institution that trains potential kitchen and hotel managers should have as one of its main purpose the care of people and environment. Therefore, the school year 2019-2020 project focuses on reducing plastic consumption by encouraging the use of public water, which comes from some springs, “Sorgenti Le Capore” in the territory of the Monti Lucretili Park. Students will personally test the goodness of tap water through excursions, workshops, direct observations and analysis of samples. Even the emotional side and the sense of belonging will be solicited, also thanks to the support of associations and entities present in the area. In particular, the "Terraemani" association and the APS (Acqua Pubblica Sabina) organization that manages the public aqueduct will be involved in the project. Then, students will have the opportunity to rationally choose which water to consume, public or bottled water. The challenge will therefore be to promote 0 km water.

Presentation type preference: Poster

Abstract In the modern geodesy the role of the permanent station is growing constantly. The proper treatment of the time series from such station lead to the determination of the reliable velocities. In this paper we focused on some pre-analysis as well as analysis issues, which have to be performed upon the time series of the North, East and Up components and showed the best, in our opinion, methods of determination of periodicities (by means of Singular Spectrum Analysis) and spatio-temporal correlations (Principal Component Analysis), that still exist in the time series despite modelling. Finally, the velocities of the selected European permanent stations with the associated errors determined following power-law assumption in the stochastic part is presented.

This study examines the extent to which the Nigerian journalists comply with ethical values in the course of their reportage. Two national dailies – The Nation and Daily Trust newspapers were selected for content analysis, using systematic random sampling technique to pick 26 editions per newspaper. A period of six months from 14 December 2014 to 14 June, 2015, covering the 4th phase of the state of emergency was chosen. Tables, figures, and sample percentage counts were employed in making the research data easily understandable. The findings revealed that though the newspapers appeared to be ethically compliant in their reportage, none of the two newspapers was neutral in its reportage of the state of emergency rule. Majority of their stories were considered unpleasant and capable of aggravating the crisis in the troubled states. The hypothesis were tested, one showed that there is a significant difference between the number of news stories and the number of ethical breaches in the selected newspapers; hypothesis two showed a significant difference between ethically breaching and ethically standard reports/content of the selected newspapers; hypothesis three showed a significant difference between the ethical breaching of Daily Trust and those of The Nation –X2 = 0.09; P<0.05, df1. The study therefore, recommends that journalists should always have a healthy regard for the public interest, desist from slavish adulation and join hands with the government in bringing about lasting peace to the troubled states and desist from publishing inflammatory stories.

The north east of Tunisia ore deposits (Hammam Zriba) contain a large amount of fluorides constituting a risk of environmental pollution as well as risks to human and animal health. The aim of our work was to assess the levels of fluorides in the water and blood of sheep in the east of Tunisia region. This analysis study included 78 water samples and 60 blood samples taken during 3 days in the year 2019, from a sheep herd at Hammam Zriba delegation. The determination of fluorine concentration in the samples was carried out by potentiometry with a selective electrode type ISE combined Fluoride perfectION™. High Fluoride concentrations were found at a mean of 1.62 ± 1.18, 1.45 ± 0.98, and 2.65 ± 1.61 mg/l, respectively, in running, deep, and stagnant waters. In addition, 83.3% of the animals reared within 400 m of the study area had elevated fluoride levels in the blood exceeding the usual values (fluoremia> 0.15 mg/l). The concentration of fluoride in the blood of the animals decreases with increasing distance from the mine.
