Research about Mimicry Marketing Strategy (MMS) on marketing performance has been done before. However, in the previous study, there was no separation between the service industry and the manufacturing industry. In addition, there was also no experiment in the business environment with intense competition and business environment with non-intense competition. This study aims to analyze the effects of MMS on marketing performance in the service industry and manufacturing industry with intense and non-intense business environment. Respondents in this study were 100 MSMEs in Banyumas Regency, taken using Random Sampling method. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis and regression analysis moderating sub-groups with a Chow-test. The results of this study indicate that mimicry towards consumers, mimicry towards competitors, and mimicry toward suppliers have positive effect on marketing performance, while mimicry on intermediaries does not have a positive effect on marketing performance, business environment and types of industry moderate the relationship between MMS and marketing performance.

For, this purpose, data on expenditure on human resource and profit after tax (PAT) for BSE- SENSEX 30 companies was extracted for the period of10 years. In order to test the hypothesis of this study, correlation and regression analyses were performed. Results of correlation revealed that HR expenditures are positively related to Firms performance. The findings from regression analysis revealed that HR expenditure have statistically significant effect on a firm’s financial performance.</p>

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate and test the role of religio-centric product strategy (RPS) in mediating the relationship among marketing innovativeness (MI), market sensing capability (MSC), customer relationship management capability (CRMC) and brand management capability (BMC) with marketing performance (MP) in a religious-based industry. This is in accordance with the conditions of Indonesian religious people and the increasing demand for Muslim fashion products. Design/methodology/approach This paper selected 330 small fashion businesses in Indonesia and tested the regressive relations of the 6 constructs. Findings The findings showed that MI, MSC, CRMC and BMC have a positive effect on RPS and RPS also has a positive effect on MP, so that RPS acts as mediation in the relationship among MI, MSC, CRMC and BMC with MP. Research limitations/implications In-depth research on other dimensions of the role of antecedent variable of RPS, such as NPD capability, specialized marketing capability, resource reconfiguration marketing capability, architectural marketing capability and marketing resources that are interesting to discuss (Morgan, 2012), has not been done in research. Originality/value By examining the literature on dynamic capability, marketing strategy, entrepreneurship and business performance, this paper offers a unique analysis of dynamic marketing capability and its impact on product strategy and MP in religious-based industries.

Purpose of the Study: This paper aims to investigate the mediating role of marketing performance on innovation-financial performance relationship as well as on process capital-financial performance relationship using the publicly listed manufacturing firms on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Methodology: This is a quantitative research employing marketing performance as the mediation variable. A mediation research model is constructed to test the hypotheses of this research using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. A new data set is prepared which involves the publicly listed manufacturing companies on the IDX covering a period of thirteen years from 2005 to 2017. Main Findings: The results of this research provide the following empirical evidence. Firstly, marketing performance partially mediates the relationship between innovation and financial performance. Secondly, marketing performance fully mediates the relationship between process capital and financial performance. Conclusion: This study provides a better understanding of managers regarding the mechanism of how innovation affects financial performance via marketing performance as well as on the mechanism of how to process capital affects financial performance via marketing performance. Application/Implication: This study implies that managers need to continuously innovate, improve manufacturing processes, and enhance marketing management to achieve better financial performance.

Social media is currently being used by both large companies and SMEs. For large companies the use of social media has been used successfully in reaching potential consumers. However, for SMEs, the marketing strategy of using social media is still being questioned. The purpose of this study is to fill the gaps in previous research by examining the driving factors for SMEs in using social media in promoting their products and testing how the performance of SMEs after adopting this technology is good both in financial and non-financial aspects that have not been done much research. The results of this study found that the compatible, cost-effective, interactive variables had a positive effect on the use of social media and subsequently had a positive effect on both financial and non-financial performance. However, the moderating role of social media capabilities cannot strengthen the relationship between use and the performance of SMEs. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for evaluating SMEs so that they can use digital media to support their business. The government must also pay attention to this to actively socialize the use of digital media for MSMEs so that the performance of SMEs can increase.

Different hypotheses are generated and tested to chet1ck the relation between NPD best practices and NPD innovation in an organization with respect to NPD performance in the Indian manufacturing industry. Findings – The following results were obtained: there is a positive effect on NPD performance for those organizations that strongly implement NPD best practices; the stronger the NPD innovation, the higher the NPD performance; and stronger organizations' ability for NPD innovation has positive relationship with NPD best practices. Hence, it is proven that, “the stronger the NPD innovation in an organization, with defined NPD best practices, the better the NPD performance”. Originality/value – According to the author’s knowledge, no study is reported in literature which addresses the effect of NPD best practices and NPD innovation in an organization with respect to performance in the Indian manufacturing industry.

Purchase intention provides a motivational effect that always recorded in the consumer mind and influential to their consumption behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of co-shopper and price as moderating variables in the relationship between tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention. The population in this study were local tourists who visited Banyuwangi and Osing t-shirt stores. The sampling technique was an accidental sampling that collected data from 100 respondents. The analytical method was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that tourist ethnocentrism and brand image have a positive effect on purchase intention. The influence of tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention is stronger when it moderated by the co-shopper variable. Conversely, the influence of tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention was statistically not significantly moderated by price.

This study aimed to examine the effect of image, customer satisfaction, and the interaction between image and satisfaction to customer loyalty, convenience sample was taken of 250 bank customers in Surakarta, Central Java. Hierarchical multiple linear regression analysis was used to accommodate the relationship between observed variables. The results showed that bank’s customer loyalty can be explained by the moderating role of satisfaction in behavioral processes. In particular, the results show that the image of banks has a positive effect on loyalty, satisfaction negatively affects loyalty, and interaction of satisfaction and image also negatively affect customer loyalty. This study does not consistent with previous studies; however, it reveals the implications of the study related to the theoretical and practical aspects.
