The research was conducted to develop an integrated model of poverty reduction based on spatial aspects, economic areas, structural, and administrative of East Java province. The research applied some analysis tools which include: Analysis of dominant sectors, supporting capacity analysis, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that Bangkalan, Lamongan, Bojonegoro, and Batu had the highest number of very poor population due to some factors such as the low income of population, low levels of education, and poverty that were passed down by the family. Poverty reduction efforts through institutional capacity optimization has greatly intensified and running well ,yet the constraints arise from other instruments such as the adequacy of programs, activities, and funding that has not been managed properly.

Culinary tourism is part of agribusiness that focuses specifically on searching for, and enjoying, preparing food and drinks. Several goals have taken the concept of sustainability to a new level and have begun to offer food and beverage oriented. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with data processing in this study carried out qualitatively and quantitatively, with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used as a tool to determine which strategies should be prioritized by the Kerinci Regency to support the marketing activities of Culinary Tourism.

AbstractThis article discusses two methods to measure the concept of local competitiveness: Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The goal of this analysis is to determine whether these two methods used in social sciences research lead to comparable model results. By non-parametric tests we show that there is a significant correlation between the PCA and AHP local competitiveness indexes. Thereafter, a developed mixed method examination of whether the methods can be used interchangeably is presented and illustrated with detailed examples of two mixed approaches. The mixed method confirms the correlation between the PCA and AHP models. However, the mixed modelling results indicate the utility of the PCA in the situation of a multicriteria local competitiveness data examination.

This paper provides an overview of multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) applications in managing water-related disasters (WRD). Although MCDA has been widely used in managing natural disasters, it appears that no literature review has been conducted on the applications of MCDA in the disaster management phases of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Therefore, this paper fills this gap by providing a bibliometric analysis of MCDA applications in managing flood and drought events. Out of 818 articles retrieved from scientific databases, 149 articles were shortlisted and analyzed using a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) approach. The results show a significant growth in MCDA applications in the last five years, especially in managing flood events. Most articles focused on the mitigation phase of DMP, while other phases of preparedness, response, and recovery remained understudied. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) was the most common MCDA technique used, followed by mixed-method techniques and TOPSIS. The article concludes the discussion by identifying a number of opportunities for future research in the use of MCDA for managing water-related disasters.

The fire incident in karaoke buildings in Indonesia which claimed many lives has occurred several times. According to the National Academy of Science US, the smoke toxins that come out of the fire disaster cause 50-80% of deaths. Refers to the data, it is necessary to check further about the building material response to fire during a fire incident. Masterpiece Signature Karaoke is a karaoke building that classified as large and magnificent in the city of Medan which has various material so that it is necessary to study the interior material as passive fire protection. The purpose is to find out how to assess the reliability of fire passive protection regard to the interior materials and recommendations or descriptions of right interior material planning using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This method is efficacious to solve the problem of reliability in using interior materials as passive fire protection in Masterpiece Signature Family KTV Medan building with the results of an Adequate Level of reliability. Then, design recommendations were given for the use of interior materials in karaoke building to improve the reliability results to be better. The results are useful as information for other researchers and karaoke buildings regarding passive fire protection systems at the Masterpiece Signature Family KTV Medan.
