This study aims to investigate the relationship between government expenditure and economic growth in each province on the island of Sumatra during the period 2007-2016 using panel data. The method used is a quantitative approach by applying the Granger Causality model. The findings of this study indicate that there are no two-way relationships from the 10 provinces in Sumatra. But there is a one-way relationship between government spending and economic growth, which is found in the Province of West Sumatra and Bengkulu Province. Whereas the other 8 provinces have no one-way and two-way causality relationship

The aim of this study is to investigate effect of company's life cycle on cost of stockholders , in this regard, three hypotheses were developed that a sample of 118 companies during the period of 2009 to 2015 were selected in order test them and regression model and panel data was used to analyze hypotheses. In this study, Dickinson (DeAngelo et al., 2006; Dickinson, 2011; Rahmanian, Moghaddam et al., 2014) company life cycle criteria has been used to separate companies to different steps of company life cycle and the Gordon growth model has been used to measure cost of stockholders. The results show that the cost of stockholders has significant difference with each other in mature phase of Company life cycle Compared with recession of company's life cycle. The results also show that cost of stockholders have significant difference with each other compared with recession of company's life cycle in the growth stage of companies life cycle . Finally, the results show that cost of stockholders have significant difference with each other in the Company life cycle birth and decline compared with the record of company's life cycle.

This study aims to determine the effect of foreign debt, exports, and inflation on economic growth in the five ASEAN countries in the period 1996-2017. The tool used in this study is multiple linear regression using panel data by testing hypotheses, namely test f, t test, coefficient of determination . The results of this study show together foreign debt, exports, and inflation against economic growth in five ASEAN countries, with a probability value of 0.0000. While individually foreign debt has a negative and significant effect on economic growth with a regression coefficient of -2.599232 and a probability value of 0.0035, exports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth with a regression coefficient of 1.801832 and a probability value of 0.0573, and inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth with a regression coefficient of -0.245798 and a probability value of 0.0000.

The ability of local governments to manage finances is stated in the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD). The higher the regional expenditure allocation in the APBD, the higher the level of economic growth to reduce or alleviate the level of poverty. The variables that affect economic growth and poverty include regional expenditure. This study aims to determine the effect of regional spending on economic growth and poverty in regencies/cities in Jambi province partially or collectively. The analytical method used is simple regression analysis with a panel data model. The results showed that regional spending has a negative and partially insignificant effect on economic growth. Regional expenditure has a positive and minor impact on poverty levels in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Keywords: Local government, Economic growth, Poverty.

Through empirical approaches supported in the growth model of Paul Romer and neoclassical production function Cobb-Douglas, this work includes specific factors such as externalities capital models to explain economic growth in Mexico. A panel data was constructed for 2003-2008 and a fixed-time-effects regression model applied. It is concluded that technological parameter is crucial for the growth of Mexican GDP, that is, the proportion of population with university degree directly affects economic growth. Investments in science and technology made by mexican states were not significatives within the experiment performed.
