This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of the citizens of learning package C at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City. The low learning motivation of the learning citizens is thought to be due to the lack of this approach, presumably due to the lack of approach given by the tutor to the learning community at the time of learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning approach of the Program Paket C in PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, to describe the learning motivation of the learning citizens of the Program Paket C at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, and to examine the relationship between the two.  This research uses quantitative research with correlational descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to 89 citizens who participated in the Program Paket C for IPA and Social Studies classes at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City with a sample of 45 people. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire, with data analysis using the percentage formula and the product moment. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The learning approach applied by the tutor in the Program Paket C at PKMB Suka Maju Sejahtera Padang City is still not right; (2) The learning motivation of the citizens to learn in the Program Paket C in PKMB Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City is still low; (3) there is a relationship between the learning approach and the learning motivation of learning citizens in the Program Paket C at PKMB Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City.Keywords: learning approach, learning motivation

The Relationship Between Instructors' Teaching Skills and the Learning Outcomes of the Learning Community at PKBM Surya, Padang City. Thesis. Faculty of Science Education. Padang State University. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of citizens learning to attend sewing training at PKBM Surya, Padang city. This is presumably because it has something to do with the teaching skills of PKBM instructor Surya, Padang city. This study aims to describe the teaching skills of instructors, learning outcomes of learning citizens in the learning environment, and the relationship between instructor teaching skills and sewing learning outcomes of learning residents at PKBM Surya Kota Padang.This type of research is quantitative research that is descriptive correlational. The population of the study were all 20 learning citizens who attended sewing training at PKBM Sury Padang city and respondents, namely all residents learning embroidery training, with the sampling technique used was a quota sampling. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used the percentage formula and Spearman rho correlation.The results of this study show that the teaching skills of the instructor are not good, the learning outcomes of learning citizens to sew are low, and there is a significant relationship between the teaching skills of the instructors and the learning outcomes of learning citizens in PKBM Surya Padang city, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the correlation using the Spearman rho formula. which is indicates that rcount (0.619) is greater than rtable at both the 5% confidence level (0.450) and the 1% confidence level (0.591). It is suggested that the PKBM Surya institution provide a conducive learning environment so that participants are motivated to attend embroidery training.Keywords: instructor teaching skills, citizen learning outcomes

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students of package C class XI in computer subjects in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district, Pesisir Selatan. This is presumably because it has something to do with the learning enviroment in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district, Pesisir Selatan. This study aims to look at the description of learning motivation, learning environment and the relationship between learning motivation and learning environment of package C class XI students in computer subject at PKBM SAKATO, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is quantitative research that is descriptive corerelational. The study population was 40 students of package C in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district and a sample of 75% namely 30 people with the sampling technique is a random sample. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used the formula for the percentage of product moment correlation. The results of this study show that the learning environment of students is categorized as less conducive, then the learning motivation of students in the package C class XI in PKBM SAKATO is still categorized as low, this can be observed through the answers that have been given by respondents to the indicators of the statements that were examined. Then there is a significant relationship between the learning environment and the learning motivation of the XI class C package students in PKBM SAKATO. Suggestions to the management of the SAKATO PKBM institution to further improve the qualityy of the environment for learning. It is hoped that other studies will be able to see several other factors that have not been examined in this study.  Keywords : learning environment, learning motivation

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning of the members of learning the package C program at SPNF SKB Sijunjung, this is thought to be due to the negative influence exerted by peers. This study aims to: 1) describe peer influence; 2) describe the learning interest of the learning community; and 3) looking at the relationship between peer influence and the learning interest of citizens in the Paket C program at SPNF SKB Sijunjung. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational descriptive techniques. The population of this research is all citizens studying the Paket C Program at SPNF SKB Sijunjung totaling 19 people and all of them are used as research samples. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and Spearman rho correlation. The results showed that: (1) peer influence was categorized as bad, (2) learning interest in learning citizens was categorized as low, (3) there was a significant relationship between peer influence and learning interest in learning citizens in the package C program at SPNF SKB Sijunjung. ABSTRAK Mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik MAN Baraka merupakan tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian korelasi produk momen, dimana ada dua variabel yang ingin dikatahui hubungan dan arah hubungannya, serta menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X MIA MAN Baraka dengan total 121 orang peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua jenis instrument yakni instumen non-tes dan tes masing-masing untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar dengan jumlah 37 pernyataan, setiap pernyataan memiliki 5 pilihan jawaban dan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik dengan jumlah butir soal 26 yang setiap nomornya memiliki lima alternatif jawaban. Dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi produk momen diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu nilai signifikansi 0,008 < 0,05 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik MAN Baraka dengan arah korelasinya adalah positif. Dengan ini, guru-guru ketika akan melakukan pembelajaran, baiknya memberikan motivasi terlebih dahulu kepada peserta didik agar mereka termotivasi. Ketika pererta didik sudah termotivasi, maka peserta didik akan bersemangat dan memungkinkan mereka untuk mudah dalam memahami konsep-konsep pelajaran sehingga akan memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Kata  kunci: motivasi, belajar, pemahaman, konsep, fisika ABSTRACT Knowing the relationship between learning motivation and understanding students' MAN Baraka concepts is the aim of this study. This research was included in product-moment research, where there were two variables that wanted to know the relationship and direction needed, and used quantitative research. The subjects of this study were all students of class X MIA MAN Baraka with a total of 121 students. Data collection used two types of instruments namely non-test and each test to determine learning motivation with a total of 37 answers, each of which had 5 answer choices and students' understanding of concepts with a total of 26 items, each of which had five alternative answers. By using product evaluation analysis when the results of significance 0.008 <0.05 which mean that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning and learning with the understanding of MAN Baraka students' concepts and the direction of correlation is positive. With this, the teacher when going to learn, it is better to provide motivation in advance to students so that they are motivated. When students are motivated, students will be excited and allow them to easily understand the concepts of the lesson so that they will get better learning outcomes. Keywords: motivation, learning, understanding, concepts, physics

This quantitative research study investigated the relationship between anxiety acquired through foreign language learning and learning motivation of Filipino students in Bataan Peninsula State University. Participants were identified through stratified random sampling. It adapted two sets of questionnaires: Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale by Horwitz, et al. (1986) and Foreign Language Learning Motivation Questionnaire developed by Gonzales (2006). Results showed that anxiety and motivation have a significant relationship with each other. Higher level of learning motivations students set for themselves manifest higher chances for them to develop consciousness and anxiety over their academic performance. They see L2 learning essential in employment opportunities, effective communication, and exploring foreign culture. However, their sense of interest to the course is primarily driven by extrinsic motivations which are only influenced by external factors such as the need to take the subject to pass a requirement. In return, they grow anxious and fearful of the possible consequences of being unable to achieve learning expectations and self-goals. While it is true that age does not significantly affect the relationship of the two variables under examination, it was found that females are more likely to exemplify a receptive behavior in learning than males. It is of high suggestion to integrate different strategies in teaching foreign language to minimize anxiety tendencies and maximize students’ engagement in learning. Also, it is recommended to devise or adapt a more context-specific questionnaire that will deeply explore on the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of students and the anxiety concomitant to it. Finally, further studies are highly encouraged to be conducted to further navigate the interplay of other contributing variables in their foreign language learning experiences.

AbstractThis research aims to explain the correlation of  learning motivation with the students’ learning outcome of the dance art in class X MAN 3 Padang. The problem of research was the difference of students’motivation in the class X MAN 3 Padang which were influenced by the teacher, materials, methods, media, and evaluation of the lesson. This research was quantitative research with correlational  methods. Correlational  research is a study tha measures the relationship between X dan Y variables. The research samples were 25 students of the class X-1 MAN 3 Padang. The instruments of the research were a questionnaire and a testof learning outcomes. The data were collected through interviews and observation as secondary data collection techniques. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between learning motivation and students’ learning outcomes at the dance subject at the MAN 3 Padang. It was proven by rxy value =0.759 which was higher than the rtable. 0.459. Thus,it has shown that the correlation between the two variables was significant. By proving this hypothesis, the learning motivation was demonstrated by attention, understanding diligence and confidence. The students’ learning outcome is improved when they are highly motivated to learn.Keyword: motivation, student learning results, dance lessons

This article was written to describe the relationship of listening skill of observation report texts to the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this research is score of skill test result listening the observation report text. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of writingthe text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (65,56). Second, the skill of listening to the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMKNegeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (79,44).

Motivation to learn is a person’s desire to take part in the learning process. Students are motivated to do an activity for their personal gain to achieve satisfaction from the lessons or the feeling that their needs are fulfilled. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students were forced to shift to learning online. The motivation to study online is related to the student’s achievement. Learning achievement is used as an indicator of the student’s competence in the teaching materials. High achievement can be reached by persistence in learning, which is formed through the learning motivation that will direct the student’s behaviour towards achieving maximum learning achievement. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement in Prosthetic Orthotic Major at the Health Polytechnic Surakarta. It employs a quantitative research method using a correlation research design. The study used the Google Form Online Questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. The sample included 447 students of the Prosthetic Orthotic Major at the Health Polytechnic Surakarta. The results of the normality test showed that the data were not normally distributed. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Spearman’s test and obtained a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a relationship between online learning motivation and student learning achievement. This study aims to prove the effect of salience and disposition on investors' investment decisions in Surabaya. In addition, this study also seeks to see the effect of salience and disposition effect on investment decisions with the type of investor as a moderating variable. This type of research is quantitative research with associative methods and primary data sources. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is then processed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that the salience and disposition effect had a significant influence on investment decisions. In addition, the types of investors weaken the relationship between the salience and disposition effect on investment decisions.

This study aims to determine the effect of model problem solving with students learning motivation in scince subjectts at SD Sukamakmur 1, TelukJambe Timur district. This research is a quantitative research. The population used in this study were all grade IV studenta of SD Negeri Sukamakmur 1, TelukJambe Timur subdistrict, amounting 80 students. Data collection technique to test the hypothesis is done by calculating the product moment statistics.The results of the validity of the students’ learning motivation questionnaire in natural science subject obtained 27, which were declared valid from 40 items tested. The reability test results an rn value 3,470. Hypothesis testing results, there are significant differences between students’ learning motivation in science subjects with student learning outcomes. It was obtained 84,48 tables in 2,024 with a significance of 0,05 and n=40 indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the learning motivation of students in science subjects with learning outcomes has an influence.
