The 21st-Century skills are skills that must be possessed by students to compete in the era of globalization. The provisioning of these skills to students can go through the physics learning process at school. Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension (ICARE) learning model is one of the learning models that can be applied in Physics learning in high school to train students' skills in critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of communication and collaboration skills of students after applying the ICARE learning model. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a single-group interrupted time series design. The sample were high school students in one of the Karawang districts, consisting of 12 male students and 15 female students. During the learning activities, students will be given a worksheet with several different questions each meeting tailored to the material being studied, and the answer will be used as a source for analyzing their written communication skills. These questions lead students to be able to communicate the results of their experiments following scientific principles. Experimental activities conducted by students will be analyzed to measure their collaborative skills, and students' presentations will be used to measure their oral communication skills. The improvement of those three aspects was analyzed at each meeting. The results showed that the implementation of learning using the ICARE approach was able to improve the ability of students to collaborate with an average score of 7.87 at the first meeting to 15.93 at the second meeting. While the communication, especially report-writing skills of students, increased from the average of1.53 at the first meeting to 3.6 at the second meeting. The aspect of making presentation material increased from 1.67 to 3.17, and the aspect of oral presentation increased from 1.53 to 3.53 at the second meeting. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that students' communication and collaboration skills improve after the ICARE learning model implemented

This research aims to improve senior high school students’ physics problem-solving skills through learning used IBMR learning model. This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified as moderate. The success of IBMR learning model-based devices in practicing problem-solving abilities can be seen in the increase in the average score in each indicator of problem-solving abilities. The indicator of understanding the problem had the highest post-test average score of 94.58 with an N-gain of 0.89 in the high category. The problem-solving indicator had the lowest posttest average score was 58.22 with N-gain 0.39 and mean that it was the moderate category. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the learning used by IBMR learning model can practice the ability to solve physics problems on heat material and its displacement. Learning with the IBMR learning model was expected to train students in solving physics problems. The stages in the IBMR learning model can help students

Verbal scientific communication skills observed in this study include: asking questions, answering questions, contributing ideas / opinions, responding to other students' opinions, and conveying the results of the discussion. Based on the results of the study concluded that the oral communication skills of Al-Azhar Kayangan high school students through learning the integration model of local wisdom are still in the low category. A skill cannot be taught in a short time so it needs to be practiced repeatedly so that students become more skilled. Further research is needed to be related to non-verbal communication skills at the same location and students so that observation of students' communication skills is more comprehensive.

This study aims to compare the impact of the Dual Situated Learning Model (DSLM) and conventional instructions in improving High School Students’ understanding of chemical equilibrium concepts and the prevention of possible misconceptions. The study utilized a quasi-pretest-posttest control and experimental group design with two classes of XI SMAN as the research sample (N=60 students). Pre-posttests consisting of 12 two-tier questions (r = 0.691) used to assess the learners’ understanding of the chemical equilibrium. The results showed a significant difference in favor of the learners who taught using the DSLM model in comparison to those in the conventional approaches (Fount = 4.149; p = 0.003). Students in the experimental class had a better understanding and fewer misconceptions about the concept of chemical equilibrium. Implications for science educators suggest that learning that is designed by considering students' misconceptions or preconceptions and anticipating them through appropriate learning steps will have a positive influence on the learners’ conceptual understanding.

This research is motivated by the importance of students' learning motivation and the low of high school students’ mathematical communication skills in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation on the high school students’ mathematical communication skills in learning mathematics with the Brain-Based Learning model. This research is mixed-method research with concurrent triangulation strategies. The population in this study were all class XI in SMA 1 Rengasdengklok on Kabupaten Karawang and the sample was one class. Data was collected by providing tests, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The test used is a description test, while the motivation scale uses a Likert Scale. The data was analyzed by normality test and simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of learning motivation on mathematical communication skills in the application of the Brain-Based Learning model with a percentage of 56.8%.

This research aims to analyze the influence of the model Think-Pair-Share (TPS) implementation to knowledge mastery capabilities and oral communication skills of high school students. This is an experimental quasi research with nonequivalent control group design. Population include all students of class X MIPA High School 1 Subah with sample classes X MIPA 1 as experiment class and X MIPA 2 as control class determined by purposive sampling that teacher suggested. The result of t-test shows the significant difference of average posttest grade between experiment and control classes. The increase of learning result experimental class 0,39 (mean), ie from 71,76 become 82,54 while control class 0,18 (low), ie from 70,25 become 75,34. The t-test result also shows a significant difference grade of oral communication skill between the experimental and control classes. The average score of oral communication skill of experiment 78,33, better than control 67,15. This shows that the TPS model has a positive influence on the ability of mastery knowledge and students' oral communication skills. This is supported by the good responses from students and teacher toward model TPS implementation in environmental change learning.

Abstract: This study aims to describe: (1) the validity of student worksheets based on problem; (2) increasing the mathematical communication skills of high school students by using student worksheets based on problem; (3) student responses to the development of student worksheets based on problem. This research is research and development. This research was conducted using Dick and Carrey model. The population in this study were all students of class X Darul Aitami private high school. Sampling used simple random sampling and the classes used as samples for the trial were class X-1 and class X-2. From the results of trial 1 and trial 2 it can be obtained: (1) student worksheets are included in the valid category, reviewed from several aspects, namely: format, language, material, and content. (2) the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills by using student worksheets based on problem increased by 6.9%, in the first trial results the students' average score was 73.4% and after conducting the second trial it increased by 80.3%. (3) student responses to the components of student worksheets and learning activities using student worksheets are positive. Furthermore, it is suggested that teachers can use student worksheets based on problem as an alternative to learning, with the guidance or questions provided that are affordable to students, so that students understand the problems they are given more easily.

The study aimed to investigate the improvement of the mathematical comprehension and communication skills of the students through learning the quantum teaching and conventional learning model. This research was an experimental study employing a pretest and posttest research design. The population of the study was all the Year 11 students from one of the senior high school in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, consisting of six classes. Two classes of samples were randomly selected, the experimental and the control classes. The instruments used in this research were a test of mathematical comprehension and communication skills. A statistical analysis employed to analyze the improvement of the mathematical comprehension and communication skills was t-test at the significance level of 0.005. The result showed that the improvement of the mathematical comprehension and communication skills of the students through the quantum teaching model was better than the conventional learning model. this study recommends that teachers implement quantum teaching models.
