Medical and social environment is discussed for the southern part of the Russian Far East, in system “Quality of life and reproductive health” at different hierarchical levels; that are at the meso-level – Khabarovsk Krai and the Jewish Autonomous Region (JAR); at the micro-level – Smidovichsky District in JAR and Nanai District in Khabarovsk Krai; at the local level – municipal settlements in urban and rural areas. The aim of the research is to identify the features of the social and medical environment affecting the quality of life, with an emphasis on the health of indigenous and non-indigenous population of reproductive age as the main criterion of quality of life. For subjective estimation of their health, well-being and quality of life, sociological surveys of women of reproductive age and pregnant women was conducted using a special questionnaire “Medical and social passport of future parents”. The region is characterized by low indicators of health and reproduction of the population, weak social infrastructure. The analysis of the quality of life in the region requires the establishment of priority groups of risk factors to improve the efficiency of medical and social control to minimize their impact.

The Object of the Study. Quality of life of the population in the Russian Far East. The Subject of the Study. Assessment of socioeconomic indicators of the quality of life in the regions of the Russian Far East.The Purpose of the Study. Analyzing the quality of life of the population on the most important components based on socioeconomic indicators of regions and comparing them with similar indicators for the Russian Far East Federal Okrug and Russia as a whole.The Basic Provisions of the Article. An important condition for improving demographic processes in the regions of the Russian Far East is the improvement of the quality of life. Prior to the leaders of the regions is the task of increasing socioeconomic indicators above the national average for the preservation of skilled personnel in the region. The birth rate and mortality rate, the level of external and internal migration, the monetary incomes of the population, the level of poverty, unemployment and inflation are analyzed. Improving transport accessibility for regions that have a huge territory and negative migration processes stimulates the consolidation of the population.

The purpose of the study is to determine the ways which intensify the investment activity of enterprises in the Russian Far East. They performed the comparative analysis of the rating methods used in the Russian Federation to assess the investment attractiveness of the regions. It was revealed that a common characteristic of the analyzed methods is to consider the infrastructural factor and their institutional environment, and, in particular, the presence and quality of the business support infrastructure. These factors directly affect the investment attractiveness of a single enterprise and project, as they form the investor's attitude. To increase the investment attractiveness of the Russian Far East regions, it is necessary to use the experience of the Asia-Pacific countries. The work formulated recommendations on the application of Chinese experience in relation to Russian territories with preferential economic regimes. To solve the problem of efficiency, increase and intensity the investment activities of enterprises, the concept of management. accounting tool application is proposed.

The library stock is a very complicated object, which key characteristic is a strict order of documents it consists of. The quality of library activities and effectiveness of library functioning as a whole depend on how it is organized. The stock arranging – as the process of its organization – presupposes search and taking decisions on the optimal regulating of documents in the stock. Rational stock arranging considerably increases operativeness of servicing readers thanks to reduction of time wastes for searching and delivering the documents asked, that, undoubtedly, is an important factor in the sphere of services provision, taking into account the speed of today life. Due to the active growth of documents’ quantity, that is characteristic for depository libraries, the need in vacant space increases yearly, selection and search for sources in the stock are getting more complicated. Besides, the problem of lack of space for stocks accommodation is connected with substantial widening of functions and changing the libraries growth, taking place under exterior conditions influence.  The urgent necessity for searching modern and  effective ways to solve this problem has become  the basic reason for specialists of the State Public  Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian  Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPSTL  SB RAS) to pay attention to, determined the  principle task: to work out the complex of measures for optimal arrangement of the Library stocks. Based on the materials, gained in the course of work from all departments that hold collections, and with their direct collaboration the document “Strategy of accommodating SPSTL SB RAS collections for the period of 2020–2030” has been created. The object of the article is to give the notion about the current situation and possible decisions of the abovementioned problem in the largest library in Siberia and the Russian Far East.

Subject. We investigate the functions of priority development areas created in the subjects of the Russian Far East. Objectives. The study aims to determine the functional purpose of such areas and assess how they fulfill their socio-economic functions. Methods. We employ methods of generalization, systematization, sampling and grouping of socio-economic indicators of organizations and sole proprietors that have been granted the status of residents of priority development areas, methods of statistical, economic, correlation, and regression analysis. Results. The analysis shows that the regions of the Russian Far East have been intensively developing over the recent years. This leads to changes in the volume of investment, GRP and its structure, fixed assets, and created jobs. The paper identifies the main functions of priority development areas and includes findings on their implementation. Conclusions. At the initial stage of advanced development regime, there have been positive trends associated with a growth in investment inflows (Amur Oblast, Primorsky Krai), increased labor resources and employment expansion (Primorsky Krai, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), export orientation of projects (Amur Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai), production ramp-up in manufacturing (Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krai, Amur Oblast), modernization and renewal of fixed assets (Sakhalin Oblast, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Abstract Currently, 1464 species of Curculionid beetles (Nemonychydae – 1, Anthribidae – 76, Rhynchitidae – 78, Attelabidae – 28, Brentidae – 131 and Curculionidae – 1150) are recorded from Siberia and the Russian Far East. Forty species are found in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 84 species in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, 313 species in Tyumen Oblast, 182 species in Chelyabinsk Oblast, 129 species in Kurgan Oblast, 172 species in Omsk Oblast, 299 species in Tomsk Oblast, 439 species in Novosibirsk Oblast, 324 species in Kemerovo Oblast, 356 species in Altay Krai, 296 species in Altai Republic, 182 species in Krasnoyarsk Krai, 114 species in Republic of Khakassia, 244 species in Tyva Republic, 283 species in Irkutsk Oblast, 239 species in Buryatiya Republic, 286 species in Zabaikalskii Krai, 153 species in Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, 74 species in Far East: Kamchatka Oblast, 43 species in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, 105 species in Magadan Oblast, 325 species in Amur Oblast, 312 species in Khabarovsk Krai, 599 species in Primorsky Krai, 225 species in Sakhalin Is. and 218 species in Kuriles Isl. 112 species are excluded from the fauna of Siberia and the Russian Far East. For the first time, a comparative analysis of the tachinid fauna of the Phasiinae subfamily of the Russian Far East with the fauna of neighboring regions has been presented. The Phasiinae fauna of the Primorsky Krai (Far East of Russia) is characterized as peculiar but closest to the fauna of the southern part of Khabarovsk Krai, Amur Oblast and Eastern Siberia. The following groups of regions have been identified: Southern, Western and Eastern Siberia; Amur Oblast and Primorsky Krai, which share many common Holarctic and Transpalaearctic species.Special mention should be made of the fauna of the Khabarovsk Krai, Sakhalin Oblast, which are characterized by poor species composition and Japan (having a subtropical appearance).

The article presents data on the prevalence of thyroid hormonal disorders and the establishment of their relationship between the state of mental health and the functional state of body systems in women who participated in hostilities who suffered contusions. We aimed to assessing the prevalence and effectiveness of the diagnosis of thyroid dysfunction in women of childbearing age with impaired reproductive health who participated in hostilities and suffered contusions, to improve treatment and rehabilitation measures and quality of life of these women.
