The capital of Ciamis Regency has experienced several displacements. During the reign of Raden Adipati Aria Kusumadiningrat the development of the capital was encouraged to develop into a city. After the kulturstelsel era, many European capitalists invested in Ciamis. At the beginning of the 20th century economic infrastructure, especially the means of distribution of commodities is much needed. Building economic facilities have sprung up in several locations in Ciamis. Such conditions result in the development of the city. This study aims to get a picture of the spatial layout of Ciamis and the city development process. The research method applied descriptive research. Data collection is done through direct observation in the field and accompanied by the utilization of instrument in the form of ancient maps. In the area of Ciamis City there are still some old building objects that can be used as a spatial bookmark of the city. At a glance the city's development spontaneously, but visible on the basis of existing infrastructure, in the 20th century the city of Ciamis showed a planned city. The growth of Ciamis city is of course influenced by several factors including economic and geographical factors.Keywords: city, layout, planned, industrial area

<p align="center">ABSTRAK</p><p>Artikel hasil penelitian tentang kajian normatif keberadaan toko modern di Kota Semarang akan mengkaji mengenai keberadaan toko modern di Kota Semarang apakah sudah  memenuhi ketentuan dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 112 Tahun 2007. Untuk membahas permasalahan tersebut, metode pendekatan yang dipakai adalah yuridis normatif, dengan spesifikasi penelitian deskriptif analitis, metode pengumpulan datanya : studi dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan, sedangkan metode analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah analisis kualitatif.</p><p>Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  keberadaan toko modern di Kota Semarang sudah memenuhi beberapa ketentuan yang ada dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 112 Tahun 2007, yang belum terpenuhi adalah : ketentuan Pasal 13  &amp; Pasal 15 Peraturan Presiden Nomor 112 Tahun 2007.</p><p><em>Articles of research on the normative study of the existence of modern stores in the city of Semarang will examine the existence of modern stores in the city of Semarang whether they have fulfilled the provisions in Presidential Regulation No. 112 of 2007. To discuss these problems, the approach method used is normative juridical, with the specifications of analytical descriptive research, data collection methods: documentation and literature study, while the data analysis method used is qualitative analysis.</em></p><p><em>            </em><em>The results of the study show that the existence of a modern shop in Semarang City has fulfilled several provisions in the Presidential Regulation Number 112 of 2007, which has not been fulfilled are:</em></p><p><em>p</em><em>rovisions in Article 13 </em><em>and p</em><em>rovisions Article 15</em><em> </em><em>of the Presidential Regulation Number 112 of 2007</em><em>.</em><em></em></p><p><em>Keywords: Study, Normative, Modern Shop, Semarang City.</em><em></em></p><p> </p>

In the process of city development and construction, an oriented urban planning can reasonably determine the direction of the development,the population and land use structure of the city,in order to make overall arrangements and coordinate all aspects of the contradictions. Urban planning has become a necessary part in the development of the city. This paper summarizes the overall plannings of the city of Songyuan over the years, so that readers can clearly grasp the Songyuan city planning and development process and get some enlightenment.

The article addresses the evolution of layout and spatial design development regarding high-rise zoning in the central part of St. Petersburg. The skyline has always played an important role in the spatial composition of St. Petersburg. Study objective of the study is to analyze the evolution of the spatial and spatial structure and high-altitude zoning in the historical part of St. Petersburg in the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century. A study of the sustainable development of the historical urban environment is of undoubted interest from the point of view of identifying promising approaches to the implementation of planning, architectural and construction measures for for modern construction in the historical city. The study is based on cartographic, literary end field methods. St. Petersburg is a unity of space-planning structures that were shaped during the 18th–19th centuries. Moreover, every subsequent urban-planning concept of city development acted both to develop the city and to connect the concepts to each other. Therefore, regularities in the development of the system of high-rise dominating structures in St. Petersburg shall be analyzed with account for the historical stages of the layout shaping of its urban environment. Analysis of examples of new construction at the beginning of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century in the center of St. Petersburg allows you to capture a change in the urban landscape. The practice of active transformation of the city center was accompanied by changes with regard to the height range and scale, and, sometimes, replacement of the existing spatial structure and high-rise zoning.

Urban renewal is not a simple process of demolishing the old material entities in a city and rebuilding some new ones, but a kind of human behavior which aims at solving all barriers to city development and making the city development sustainable. Urban renewal is a continuous, dynamic and long-term development process, in this process, the emphasis of using a prospective, dynamic and comprehensive urban renewal planning system is of great instructive significance. In the urban renewal planning system, urban positioning is the key factor for its successful implementation. This paper will analyze the influence on urban renewal of three aspects in the city positioning and put forward an accurate urban positioning method for promoting urban renewal to a healthy and sustainable development by taking the influence on urban renewal of Liuzhou city positioning as the example.

Nowadays, the management of the air pollution is a very important key for a strong and sustainable development process in the areas of Dambovita county and Targoviste city. It is known that in the industrial part of Targoviste, two ferrous industrial plants are the main pollutants with powders and one enterprise is responsible by the pollution with exhausted gases. Near the city, in Doicesti village, a power coal-based plant is the major pollutant with powders and exhausted gases. More than that, the heavy road traffic remains one of the most important responsible for the atmospheric pollution. Estimating the pollution levels became an important goal for the factors involved in the environmental protection. Trying to join this kind of research, the paper presents some results concerning the trends of the air pollution level in the industrial area of Targoviste city, proposing also some kind of models. Those models were deducted by the regression calculus and linear, polynomial, logarithmic, exponential and power equations were used for expressing realistic or non-realistic models. Traditional for the regression calculus, the coefficient of determination showed how closely the estimated values for the trend-lines correspond to the analyzed data.

ABSTRAK. Orientasi pembangunan kota Jakarta adalah mewujudkan Jakarta sebagai kota global dan modern mampu berkompetisi dengan kota-kota dunia lainnya. Proses tersebut dilalui dengan optimalisasi lahan kota sebagai ruang produktif. Kondisi tersebut tidak dapat dihindari. Paradigma pembangunan kota berkelanjutan adalah mewujudkan masa depan berimbang antara kebutuhan generasi sekarang dan yang akan datang. Konsekuensinya proses pembangunan harus mampu memelihara nilai-nilai keadilan sosial budaya dan kemampuan menumbuhkan kehidupan bersama dalam kota. Penulisan penelitian ini diangkat dari sebuah cita-cita orang kampung untuk bertahan di tengah-tengah perkembangan sebuah kawasan paling mddern di Indonesia yaitu Segitiga Emas Kuningan.  Suatu kondisi dualisme pemikiran pembangunan antara proses peningkatan kualitas fisik dan perekonomian kota serta proses pembangunan yang justru menghilangkan potensi sosial budaya masyarakat kehidupan kota . Adakah jalan keluar bagi permasalahan ini? Tulisan ini mengingatkan kewajiban para perencana dan perancang kota untuk mengintegrasikan nilai lokal-global dalam pembangunan kota. Tulisan ini merupakan gagasan dasar desain pengembangan kampung yang memiliki potensi sejarah dan budaya dalam rangka melestarikan nilai-nilai sejarah dan budaya kawasan global Kuningan. Kata kunci: pembangunan kota berkelanjutan, lokal-global, kawasan modern, kampung ABSTRACT. Orientation of the development of Jakarta is by creating Jakarta as global and modern city which could compete with other cities in the world. This process will get through by optimilizing urban land as a productive space. This condition for sure cannot be avoided. The paradigm of sustainable city development is by providing future which is balance between the need of present generation and future generation. The consequency of this development process should be able to maintain the values of socio-culture justification and the ability to create togetherness life within city. This paper has been conducted from the vission of kampung’s community to survive in the middle of the development  of modern district in Indonesia, particularly Segitiga Emas Kuningan. There is a dualism condition of development thinking and approach between a process of physical quality enhancement and economical condition of the city, as well as the process of development which is regarded will vanishthe socio-culture potency within urban community. Is there any way out for this probles? This paper will remind the obligation of all parties including urban planners, architects and stakeholders to integrate all the global-local values in the process of city development. This paper is a basic idea of the design development of kampung which has a cultural and historical potency in the term to conserve and preserve the cultural and historical values of global area of Kuningan.  Keywords: sustainable development, global-local, modern area, kampung

<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa jurusan komputer di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang dibuat menggunakan <em>google form</em> kemudian disebarkan kepada responden penelitian yang berjumlah 115 mahaiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan persentase per indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa tergolong rendah pada indikator memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dan menarik kesimpulan, serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk berpikir secara lancar dan orisinil mahasiswa masih rendah.</p><p> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aimed to describe the critical and creative thinking skills profiles of students majoring in computer in the city of Padang. The research method used descriptive research. Data were collected through a questionnaire made using google form and then distributed to 115 respondents. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis using percentages per indicator. The results showed that the students' critical thinking skills were low on the indicators of providing further explanation and drawing conclusions, and the students' creative thinking skills to think fluently and originally were still low.</em></p>

The Sources of state revenue derived from motor vehicle tax in the Regional Management Center of the City of Bandung show a significant downward trend every year. This study aims to analyze the receivables of East Bandung taxpayers to the Regional Revenue Management Center and the settlement mechanism so that the existing receivables can be minimized and can be resolved. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. In order to collect research data, researchers used interview techniques and literature studies. The results of this study explain that the mismatch of the target and the realization of motor vehicle tax tends to reduce state revenue in the tax sector, the factors causing it are the lack of awareness of taxpayers in East Bandung and Bandung City Region III, the lack of socialization for people who have receivables, and inadequate human resources tax apparatus both quantitatively and qualitatively.Keywords: Local Government, Public Policy, Tax Revenue.

This research aims to determine: 1) rating of investment attraction based on investor assessment; and 2) the factors which have significant effects on investment attraction of the city. Location research is in Batu city Indonesia with number of samples as 65 investors. The data analysis technique of this study uses a Multiple Regression Analysis. The independent variables used in this study are: 1) infrastructure; 2) labor availability; 3) agglomeration; 4) natural resources, 5) markets; 6) licensing system, and 7) leadership. Investment attraction is indicated with rating assessment by investors. The results show: 1) rating of Batu city investment attraction is high; and 2) licensing system and leadership have significant influences on investment attraction. Based on the result, it is very important for a city to create a conducive climate (pro investment) to attract investors, especially in the ease of the licensing system. In addition, local governments must be able to provide positive signals in the form of commitment for the investment development in Batu city. This is necessary since the city development process really needs investor support.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of tourist muslin on infrastructure facilities to support halal tourism in Malaysia. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, with accidental sampling techniques, where the sample is Muslim tourists who were met at the time of the research. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation, then the data obtained are analyzed using descriptive methods to present the facts encountered during the research process. The results show that in terms of facilities, such as transportation, accommodation, food, places of worship are very easy to reach and support the implementation of halal tourism. In terms of supporting infrastructure has also been very good, seen from the smooth flow of transportation and communication for Muslim tourists in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. So, the perception of Muslim tourists on the facilities for supporting halal tourism in the City of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been very good and in accordance with the standard facilities for supporting halal tourism infrastructure, as well as increasing tourists' insight into Islamic culture in Southeast Asia.
