Artificial Intelligence based technologies are becoming more and more pervasive in people’s lives. Whether it takes the form of machine learning algorithms, Internet of Things smart devices, virtual assistants, chatbots, robots, AR/VR experiences, consumers are faced directly or indirectly, conscientiously or unconscientiously, with a variety of incarnations of what is generically called AI. The current debate surrounding AI seems to focus on a few major aspects related to this next technological breakthrough. Right from the start, there is intense discussion even around the definition of AI: what is and what is not AI, how broad of a definition can be applied, and which of the many current and envisaged applications are actually ‘intelligent’. Then, there is the critical issue of the use of consumers’ personal data and underlying privacy issues, as AI seems to be built and thrive on being fed enormous amounts of data of various kinds. And lastly, there seems to be increasing concern regarding the potential for AI to evolve into AGI (Artificial General Intelligence – independent self-reliant robots) and the threats this poses to humanity. A subject of potentially equal importance could be AI applications and implementations are impacting individuals’ lives and the manner in which people relate to, perceive and assess AI and the underlying current technologies, both in terms of the impact in their daily lives, as well as in terms of expected prospects for the future. This paper looks at the progress made so far in addressing some of the above questions and, by analyzing data from EU’s 2017 Eurobarometer study, attempts to reveal how various Romanian consumer segments perceive and relate to AI and current technologies. It identifies potential emerging inequalities from access, acceptance and usage of these technologies at present and in the future. The paper also sets out future directions for further understanding of the intricate relationship between human consumers and emerging AI tech, both in terms of benefits as well as potential threats. In this paper an analytical survey on the role of machine learning algorithms in case of intrusion detection has been presented and discussed. This paper shows the analytical aspects in the development of efficient intrusion detection system (IDS). The related study for the development of this system has been presented in terms of computational methods. The discussed methods are data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning. It has been discussed along with the attack parameters and attack types. This paper also elaborates the impact of different attack and handling mechanism based on the previous papers.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has resulted in the disruption of the world of work whereby technological innovation such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. These disruptions may be creative in that as some jobs are lost due to the development of artificial intelligence, new ones are created. This chapter explored the impact of disruptive technological innovations on the future of work. The skill gaps brought about by the emergence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution was also explored in this chapter.

Abstract In the future, artificial intelligence (AI) is likely to substantially change both marketing strategies and customer behaviors. Building from not only extant research but also extensive interactions with practice, the authors propose a multidimensional framework for understanding the impact of AI involving intelligence levels, task types, and whether AI is embedded in a robot. Prior research typically addresses a subset of these dimensions; this paper integrates all three into a single framework. Next, the authors propose a research agenda that addresses not only how marketing strategies and customer behaviors will change in the future, but also highlights important policy questions relating to privacy, bias and ethics. Finally, the authors suggest AI will be more effective if it augments (rather than replaces) human managers.

Personal data sharing has become an important issue in public and private sectors of our society. However, data subjects are perceived to be always unwilling to share their data on security and privacy reasons. They apprehend that those data will be misused at the cost of their privacy jeopardising their human rights. Thus, personal data sharing is closely associated with human right issues. This concern of data subjects has increased manifolds owing to the interference of Artificial Intelligence (AI) since AI can analyse data without human intervention. In this background, this article has taken an attempt to investigate how applications of AI and imposition of regulatory controls with appropriate governance can influence the impact of personal data sharing on the issues of human right abuses.

Abstract Automation is affecting all spheres of our daily lives and humans are adapting both to the challenges that it poses and the benefits that it brings. The translation profession has also experienced the impact of new technologies with Language Service Providers adapting to changes (Presas/Cid-Leal/Torres-Hostench 2016; Sakamoto/Rodríguez de Céspedes/Evans/Berthaud 2017). Translation trainers are not oblivious to this phenomenon. There have indeed been efforts to incorporate the teaching of digital translation tools and new technologies in the translation classroom (Doherty/Kenny/Way 2012; Doherty/Moorkens 2013; Austermühl 2013; O’Hagan 2013; Gaspari/Almaghout/Doherty 2015; Moorkens 2017) and many translation programmes in Europe are adapting their curricula to incorporate this necessary technological competence (Rothwell/Svoboda 2017). This paper reflects on the impact that automation and, more specifically machine translation and computer assisted tools, have and will have on the future training of translators and on the balance given by translation companies to language and technological skills.

Surveying narrative applications of artificial intelligence in film, games and interactive fiction, this article imagines the future of artificial intelligence (AI) authorship and explores trends that seek to replace human authors with algorithmically generated narrative. While experimental works that draw on text generation and natural language processing have a rich history, this article focuses on commercial applications of AI narrative and looks to future applications of this technology. Video games have incorporated AI and procedural generation for many years, but more recently, new applications of this technology have emerged in other media. Director Oscar Sharp and artist Ross Goodwin, for example, generated significant media buzz about two short films that they produced which were written by their AI screenwriter. It’s No Game (2017), in particular, offers an apt commentary on the possibility of replacing striking screenwriters with AI authors. Increasingly, AI agents and virtual assistants like Siri, Cortana, Alexa and Google Assistant are incorporated into our daily lives. As concerns about their eavesdropping circulate in news media, it is clear that these companions are learning a lot about us, which raises concerns about how our data might be employed in the future. This article explores current applications of AI for storytelling and future directions of this technology to offer insight into issues that have and will continue to arise as AI storytelling advances.

TPS717 Background: Precision oncology encompasses the implementation of high level of evidence disease-specific and biomarker-driven diagnostic and treatment recommendations for optimized cancer care. Artificial Intelligence (AI), telemedicine and value-based care may optimize clinical trial enrollment (CTE) and overall cost-benefit. This ongoing, international registry for cancer pts evaluates the feasibility and clinical utility of an AI-based precision oncology clinical trial matching tool, powered by a virtual tumor boards (VTB) program, and its clinical impact on pts with advanced cancer to facilitate CTE, as well as the financial impact, and potential outcomes of the intervention. Methods: The SYNERGY-AI Registry is an international prospective, observational cohort study of eligible adult and pediatric pts with advanced solid and hematological malignancies, for whom the decision to consider CTE has already been made by their primary providers (PP). Using a proprietary application programming interface (API) linked to existing electronic health records (EHR) platforms, individual clinical data is extracted, analyzed and matched to a parametric database of existing institutional and non-institutional CTs. Machine learning algorithms allow for dynamic matching based on CT allocation and availability for optimized matching. Patients voluntarily enroll into registry, which is non-interventional with no protocol-mandated tests/procedures—all treatment decisions are made at the discretion of PP in consultation with their pts, based on the AI CT matching report, and VTB support. CTE will be assessed on variables including biomarkers, barriers to enrollment. Study duration anticipated as ~36 mo (~24-mo enrollment followed by 12 mo of data collection, to occur every 3 mo). The primary analysis will be performed 12 mo after last pt enrolled. The impact time to initiation of CTE on PFS and OS will be estimated by Kaplan-Meier and Cox multivariable survival analysis. Enrollment is ongoing, with a target of ≥ 1500 patients. Key inclusion criteria: Pts with solid and hematological malignancies; cancer-related biomarkers. Проведен анализ технологий мобильной медицины, используемых для повышения качества оказания медицинской помощи. На основе анализа уязвимостей мобильных станций (смартфонов, планшетов, смарт устройств, различных периферийных устройств смартфонов и т.п.), технологий предоставления доступа к интернет для мобильных систем (используемые в сетях сотовой связи, беспроводного доступа), а также мобильных сервисов медицинских информационных систем предложена классификация угроз мобильной медицины и проведен анализ возможностей по реализации этих угроз. Целью работы является разработка актуальной модели угроз безопасности мобильной медицины, проведение исследований по оценке полноты и непротиворечивости применяемых в настоящее время средств защиты мобильных систем, таких как менеджер мобильных устройств, менеджер мобильных приложений, магазин доверенных мобильных приложений, шлюз безопасности мобильных приложений и др. В статье рассматриваются источники угроз, уязвимости технологий мобильной медицины, каналы воздействия угроз, объекты воздействия и возникающие ущербы от реализации угроз, характерные для мобильных технологий и имеющие отличные от традиционных точки приложения реализаций угроз и векторы. Проведен анализ контекста применения мобильной медицины и влияния на процессы предоставления медицинских услуг The analysis of mobile medicine technologies used to improve the quality of medical care. Based on the analysis of vulnerabilities of mobile stations (Smartphone's, tablets, smart devices, various peripheral devices of Smartphone's, etc.), technologies for providing Internet access for mobile systems (used in cellular networks, wireless access), as well as mobile medical information services systems, the classification of threats to mobile medicine is proposed, and an analysis of the possibilities for implementing these threats is carried out. The aim of the work is to develop an up-to-date model of threats to the security of mobile medicine, to conduct studies to assess the completeness and consistency of currently used protection systems for mobile systems, such as a mobile device manager, mobile application manager, trusted mobile application store, mobile application security gateway, etc. The article discusses the sources of threats, vulnerabilities of technologies of mobile medicine, the channels of exposure to threats, the objects of exposure and the resulting damage from the implementation of threats that are characteristic of mobile technologies and have different applications of threat implementations and vectors. Objective - This paper highlights the threats that Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed from the Zionist entity. It seeks to recognize the gradual Judaizing attempts that are being implemented on the factual level. In more comprehensive frameworks, the paper also addresses the Judaizing of Jerusalem science occupying the sacred city in 1967. There is no doubt that these Zionist practices have led to igniting a third Intifada. This paper examines the evolution of active power's map and their interactions, which includes: The Israeli occupation authority, Jewish religious groups, the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian militant factions, Fatah and Hamas, The Palestinian people, the Arab regimes, and the Arab peoples. The paper is interested in analysing the Palestinian political differences and the evolution of political situations in the Arab region. The paper also addresses the impact of the Arab situations on the Israeli political behaviour and the extent to which the region is passing through an appropriate opportunity toward more Zionist violations and accelerating the Judaizing of the Holy City, which include the Islamic sanctities and the Palestinian suburbs of Jerusalem, the native people of the city. The paper also covers the developments and the new phenomena in particular, and at the forefront the rise of Palestinian Intifada's phenomenon which called: the third Intifada. Methodology/Technique - The study reviews previous literature. Findings - The paper concludes at the end of the analysis to provide a vision for the future of contemplative Al-Aqsa mosque, runs from two visions; one is pessimistic and the other is optimistic. Every approach has its private determinants, on the safe level in particular, which related to the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic reality.
