Divorce is not only an impact to the concerned, but also involves children, especially those entering adolescence, divorce is an individual burden to the child so that it affects the psychic. The nature of children’s development is greatly influenced by the environmental conditions in which they are brought up. The amount of social stimulation which they receive is of particular importance, and even if physical conditions are adequate, an unstimulating environment which provides with little opportunity or need to experiment or solve problems will result in low level of achievement. Perhaps the most important aspect of the child’s social development is beyond the reach of the teacher. For the first very important aspect of the child’s development lies in the home. ABSTRACT So naturally, the early childhood brain develops an imaginary world of imagination. An imagination that is directed to positive things will certainly foster thoughts and give a child enthusiasm in life at home and school. The paradigm that occurs in society is that imagination in children is always associated with negative and useless, even dangerous things by saying that a child is insane if he has imagination in his life. It is a tool for generating creative and useful ideas. This paper uses a literature study method. Increasing a positive imagination in children is necessary so that the role of teachers and parents is needed to cultivate and direct this imagination in children into creative and useful ideas. Teachers are playing a part in improving the number of play tools in children, engaging children to take walks, inviting children to tell stories, providing a safe and free atmosphere to help develop children's positive imaginations in school. Meanwhile, the role of parents in the family environment is to provide a safe and free-wheeling atmosphere, do not prohibit children too much, invite them to listen to classical music, and base all thoughts on religion.

Sexual violence against athletes in elite and leisure sport has become of growing interest in recent years. In line with social media initiatives such as #SportToo and #CoachDontTouchMe and a rise in general media coverage, research in this field indicates an urgent need for action. These recent developments occasionally have led to no-touch policies, which may result in moral panic, uncertainty, and fear of unjustified suspicion among coaches. However, the role of closeness and distance in the development of sexual violence within the coach–athlete relationship has not yet been researched systematically. In this scoping review, the authors focus on the coach–athlete relationship, particularly its predispositions to sexual violence and how to prevent abusive relationships. Some characteristics typical of elite sport may predispose coaches to commit abuse, such as gender and power relations, the need for physical touch, hierarchical structures in sport, and trust and closeness between coaches and athletes. This scoping review follows an interdisciplinary approach combining sociological and psychological perspectives. It comprises 25 publications in English and German published from 2000 to 2019. The literature review highlights that closeness, power, blurred boundaries, and ambiguous roles are areas that seem to be crucial to the analysis of the coach–athlete relationship from both sociological and psychological perspectives.

This research was conducted at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Mamasa Regency which was conducted in April-May 2020. The approach in this study was a qualitative descriptive based on the phenomenology that occurred. The data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the relationship between mamasa traditional marriage and children born out of wedlock; (2) To understand the role of Mamasa culture in making birth certificates for children born out of wedlock; and (3) To find out the social impacts arising from the marriage of children born out of wedlock. The results of the study show that: (1) The mechanism of Mamasa traditional marriage for children born out of wedlock is carried out through traditional rituals as a tradition, which in terms of Mamasa indigenous people is called ‘dipa’arrangi tangangana langi’ which means ‘reappointed in dignity’. The family of the father of the child born out of wedlock goes to the family of the mother of this child to acknowledge that the child has a biological father who is ready to take responsibility as a father; (2) The role of Mamasa tradition in making birth certificates for children born out of wedlock so far has not been carried out as the regulation in Perda Number 5 in 2017. The making of birth certificates for children born out of wedlock in Mamasa Dukcapil is not an approved Customary Institution: and (3) the social impact of Mamasa traditional marriage to children born out of wedlock gives recognition of the position of the children in the family and social environment. In addition, the mothers’ families also received back their dignity. However, there are negative impacts of the existence of traditional marriages which can set a bad precedent for the environment of indigenous peoples. This is because the perpetrators are not given customary sanctions which can have a lucrative effect.

Sexual violence (SV) is an issue of global importance, with significant prevalence in the EU generally and the Netherlands in particular. Stigma and taboo often result in underreporting and exacerbate the already substantial mental health consequences of SV. Universities are recognized as high-risk settings, but in general awareness, response and prevention in Dutch universities have been limited. This article analyzes a case study of key events over a number of years resulting in policy change and active response in one university in the Netherlands, focusing on the impact and role of the Our Bodies Our Voice foundation, which started as a grassroots student initiative, using the Kingdon model of policy change. The aim is to make explicit how governance streams need to be aligned to place the issue of SV on the agenda of higher educational institutions, and findings highlight the importance of media coverage, advocacy, awareness raising and perseverance on the part of initiatives like OBOV, while building towards a policy window.

Children living with a parent with mental illness experience challenges as some may take on the roles of their parents. Physical distancing restrictions introduced because of the COVID-19 pandemic means that many children will spend more time at home which could heighten the impact of parental mental illness. For many of these children, engaging in activities with peers provides them a sort of normal life outside their family environment. However, face-to-face interactions with others outside the family may be limited under existing public health protocols. Moreover, services for children in families where there is parental mental illness may also be limited considering limitations placed on people’s movements to reduce the rate of COVID-19 infections. This opinion article draws on existing research and practitioner knowledge to suggest how social workers can continue supporting these children and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Support, in the form of online interventions, have been recommended to meet the needs of children during the pandemic period. Online support is timely because it is easily accessible and often does not require face-to-face interactions. Social workers and other human service professionals should be able to adapt existing online services to the needs of the children which they serve.

This research aims to explore the role of the family in shaping the character of early childhood. The method used is qualitative analysis with a literature study approach. The results are as follows: character education is a way to make Indonesian children and their people have commendable and civilized moral behavior. In reality, there are still school children who do not have noble character. One of the contributing factors is the lack of a moral basis that parents instill in the child's self and soul. Building character in early childhood is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. It needs a very careful approach. The role of parents is very necessary because they are the first to interact with children. The things that parents teach at an early age will form the basis of the child's character and will continue to carry over until he grows up. Parents need to introduce good things to children as the basis for forming their character and morality.
