Information literacy is a social capital for today's millennials as information literacy can make a difference for a better life. Every individual has the right to obtain and use information, including inmates. However, inmates have limited access to information while in prison; not all useful information can be obtained easily. Based on this fact, research on the role of libraries in improving prisoners' information literacy at the Correctional Institution Class I in Malang is essential to determine the library’s influence on prisoners' information literacy. The purpose of this study was to find out about the role of the library in improving prisoner’s information literacy. This study used the descriptive qualitative method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and study literature. Study results indicated that the Library of the Correctional Institution Class I in Malang had a role as the primary source of information, a place for creating, and a place that provides learning activities for inmates. Information literacy at the Correctional Institution Class I in Malang applies local wisdom which is not carried out by other specialized libraries, such as library staff that does not have library science education backgrounds, the library collection contains religious, folklore, general knowledge, and skill books. The library’s role in improving information literacy of prisoners can be seen from the works produced by the inmates, such as paintings, plant cultivation, and books that tell about their daily lives in prison. Information literacy is a social capital for today's millennials as information literacy can make a difference for a better life. The purpose of this study was to analyze: 1) The implementation of the Deed of Establishment of Cooperative manufacture in Rembang. 2) The role of the Notary as the maker of the Deed of Establishment of Cooperative Enterprises. 3) Barriers and solutions in the Deed of Establishment of Cooperative Development in Rembang.The approach method in this research is juridical empirical, data sources used are primary and secondary data obtained through interviews and literature study, performed data analysis by descriptive analytic.Results of the research results can be concluded: 1) Implementation of Creation Deed of Establishment of Cooperative in Rembang which starts with the preparation stage of formation, preparation stage meetings of formation, stage meetings of formation, stage request for approval rights of legal entities cooperatives, and the stage of issuance of the deed pendiiran and 2) As the role of Notary Deed of establishment of cooperative enterprises in Rembang is as maker deed of cooperative efforts. Notaries have the right authority / legal standing in a deed of incorporation of cooperatives. 3). Obstacles and solutions in the Deed of Establishment of Cooperative Development in Rembang of the cooperative is a member of the cooperative awareness level is still low, less managerial capacity, and limited capital resources. Barriers of Notary Public Notary is still much limited knowledge of Notary Deed Official Cooperation (PPAK) and the low interest of the Notary Deed Cooperative (NPAK) in Rembang district were registered for the Legal Entity Administration System Cooperative (SISMINBHKOP). With the state of a society, then the Office of Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Rembang should seek to build cooperation between the Notary in Rembang with the Agency's own cooperative.Keywords: Deed of Establishment of Cooperative; PPAK; SISMINBHKOP

This study sought to establish how the information institutions in Sweden were promoting information literacy in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 16 amidst the post-truth era. The author has applied a qualitative research methodology where interviews have been used as a data collecting technique.

This study aims to identify the effect of Teachers’ Work Ethics (TWE) practice based on the teachers’ work ethics code outlined by the Ministry of Education (MOE). The research sample involved teachers who are teaching at one of the daily schools in the Kubang Pasu District whom were given intervention for a month. Questionnaire was used to seek the effect of intervention prescribed in the effort to develop TWE Model. The study employed inferential statistics of t-test paired sample to see the difference between pre test and post test result. The finding showed that there is an increase in ethics practice in terms of the right intention, good conduct, initiator of goodness, fulfilling promise and; disciplined and civilised. However, in the aspect of discipline and conduct, there is significant difference between pre and post test that is (p< 0.05). This difference shows that teachers focus more on practicing this particular aspect in their daily lives. Study findings give the implication that attitude, training and role of leaders are important in determining that this principle is implemented successfully.

Ngusaba Dangsil is one of the religious rituals performed by Bungaya Villages. Despite their different beliefs, they remain respectful of each other. Tolerance among religious people in Bungaya Village is one of them can be seen during Ngusaba Dangsil ritual, a small community living in Bungaya Village called as Islam Belalungan is also involved in the big ritual procession. The aims of this research are to know: (a) Why Islam Belalungan play a role in Ngusaba Dangsil ritual and (b) How does Ngusaba Dangsil ritual mean for Islam Belalungan. The involvement of Islam Belalungan in Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual is studied through role theory, while the meaning of Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual for Islam Belalungan can be studied through interpretative theory. The concepts used as a guideline in this research is the concept of role, the concept of Islam Belalungan, and the concept of Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual. Thus, this study uses ethnographic research methods that belong to qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and literature study. The results showed that the existence of Islam Belalungan in Bungaya Village can not be separated from the history of Islamic entry in Karangasem through several channels namely, government, trade, and kinship. The factors of involvement of Islam Belalungan in Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual are among others history and part of the village. In addition, the role of Islam Belalungan in Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual is at the time before, when the ritual, and after the ritual. Before the ritual begins, the Islam Belalungan participate to assist the preparation of making banten dangsil, when the ritual has taken place, Islam Belalungan are involved to help lift dangsil in the peak of the Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual. After Ngusaba Dangsil Ritual is completed, Islam Belalungan given the right to take or eat a surudan of banten that has been offered.

Education plays a role in human life to prevent people from poverty, underdevelopment, and ignorance so that it is necessary to change the way of thinking of humans themselves to overcome these problems. The progress of the human mindset is a form of change and cannot be separated from the achievement of creativity. This article aims to describe and explain the use of mind maps in mathematics learning from a progressivism point of view through the learning process carried out from the primary and secondary education levels to produce creative products that can help students improve learning achievement through the role of the teacher as a facilitator and students as a learning center. This article uses literature study method, data is collected and analyzed as secondary data including books, journals and proceedings relevant to the topic. The results showed that the mind map method could be used by teachers and students to change the concept of thinking through active student involvement through the making of mathematics learning materials, addition and building space and the area of a circle in an attractive graphic form. Progressivism views that progress in thinking is a process of change and through the mindmaping learning method the concept of subject matter can be visualized in the form of a graphic infrastructure that can stimulate the right and left brains so that it can be useful to free students from the snare of rules when starting to learn. The conclusion of this study is a change in mindset that is in line with the viewpoint of progressivism philosophy is through a mind map learning model that can produce student creativity products and the role of the teacher as a facilitator can occur.

The role of the victim in the criminal trial process has evolved considerably in recent decades. On a European level, an important driver has been the EU Directive 2012/29/EU, according to which European countries are legally bound to afford certain rights to crime victims. In the Netherlands, the EU Directive has instigated several extensions of existing victims’ rights, and in the Code of Criminal Procedure a separate section has been devoted to the victim. The current study specifically addresses one of the victims’ rights, that is, the right to be legally represented. The Dutch government has financially invested in access to and specialization of victim lawyers in order to promote the realization of victims’ rights, specifically for victims of serious crimes and sex offences. The goal of the current study was to investigate the added value of victim lawyers and the extent to which they contribute to the fulfilment of victims’ rights in the criminal law process. A literature study was conducted to examine legislation pertaining to victims’ rights; a questionnaire study was conducted to investigate the perspective of victim lawyers ( n = 148); and interviews were conducted to examine the perspective of the police, Victim Support Netherlands, Public Prosecuting Service, and criminal courts ( n = 17). The results show that victim lawyers were important to the realization of victims’ rights. They were considered most necessary with respect to the right to claim compensation and with respect to the right to gain access to the case file. They were also required because victims’ rights have not yet been smoothly incorporated into legal practice. In addition, victim lawyers’ presence in the courtroom was considered important because it contributes to victims experiencing that they are taken seriously. It has been concluded that the support of victim lawyers is an important contribution to victim participation in criminal proceedings.

People must know how identify and search for credible health information. This study aimed to determine how information literacy activities prevented the spread of health information hoaxes on social media. This study used a qualitative approach and case study research methods. The collect research data through observation, interviews with 15 interviewees, and literature study techniques. The study results found that people obtained health information literacy by utilizing social media that is used daily. First, people recognized when they needed information, meaning they already understood when to search for information and knew what information to seek. Second, people can find information was performed in various ways, such as choosing a mass media portal that was easy to use, searching for specific information by including keywords or hashtags. Third, people evaluate the information found by knowing who made the information. Who disseminates the information? Are social media accounts trustworthy? Does the skill match the required information? Fourth, people use the obtained information effectively. People only chose the information that was suitable for what they felt and needed. Conclusion this research is people that who use social media must have information literacy expertise in finding health information so that avoid hoax information widely circulating today.

This research is entitled “Surastri Karma Trimurti: Sued the Right of Woman Laborers of Indonesia 1945-1954”. This research is the interest of author in the role of S.K Trimurti in defending the rights of women laborers in Indonesia in 1945-1954. The purpose of this research are, 1) Describe the the social-economic woman laborers in Indonesia 1930-1944; 2) Describe the background of S.K Trimurti’s life; 3) Describe how was the efforts of S.K Trimurti for the right of Indonesian woman laborers in 1945-1954; 4) Describe the impact of S.K Trimurti’s struggled on the rights of indonesian woman laborers 1948-1954. This research using the History Method, there are: Heuristics, Critics, and Historiography. The research technic which is used in this paper is literature study by using the relevant books. Based on th research, there was few results. First, The condition of woman laborers during the Dutch and Japanese occupations showed injustice, The condition of women workers is still very apprehensive with various actions that are inconsistent with the dignity of women workers as laborers. Second, some activists who fought for the rights of women laborers as one of the workers were S.K Trimurti who had contributed to the fight before and after independence. Third, the efforts of S.K Trimurti were demonstrated for the welfare and prosecution of justice for women laborers in Indonesia, especially regarding wages and reproductive rights. Fourth is the impact of the struggle was contained in the Work Act of 1948 even until now a legal guideline in the field of labor.

Purpose This literature review aims to look at the unique role of community colleges as they address the information literacy needs of their students, who are by nature continuously in transition to and from the institution. Design/methodology/approach Library science databases and online sources were reviewed for relevant information. Findings Community colleges are addressing the needs of their various student populations in a variety of ways. Originality/value The role of the community college library is underrepresented in the literature. This review provides more information about the unique role that community colleges fill in the higher education ecosystem.
