The use of media in learning activity can be a solution for teachers to overcome the problems that arise in learning. One of the problem is learning interest. It is important for teachers to cultivate students' learning interests. One of the media that can be used in learning is learning media with Prezi software. Learning media with Prezi software can be inserted with images, videos, music that can stimulate students' interest in learning. Population in this research is all class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Palimanan Kabupaten Cirebon while sampling using cluster random sampling technique and elected class VIII E as experiment class. Based on the results of the data obtained; the results of questionnaire analysis of students' responses to learning mathematics using Prezi software showed strong criteria with an average of 71% and the results of student interest in mathematics questionnaire analysis also showed strong criteria with an average of 80%. Based on the results of the hypothesis, it can be seen that the value of  thitung > t_tabel, that is 4.546> 1.7011. Because t_hitung> t_tabel, then the decision to be taken is to reject H0 and accept Ha, it means that the hypothesis is accepted. The writer takes the conclusion that there is significant influence between learning media with Prezi software to the students' learning interest in mathematics.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran  discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain 2x2 faktorial. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri di Kota Rantepao, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas tujuh SMP Negeri Rantepao dan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 78 siswa.  Model pembelajaran sebagai variabel bebas, minat belajar sebagai variabel intervening, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebagai variabel respon. Model pembelajaran discovery learning digunakan pada kelompok perlakuan, dan model pembelajaran langsung digunakan pada kelompok pembanding. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika dan skala minat belajar dan digunakan ANAVA dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran dan minat belajar mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan (2) model pembelajaran discovery learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Kata kunci: model discovery learning, model langsung, minat belajar, hasil belajar matematika siswa. ABSTRACT The major objective of this research was to investigate the effects of applying discovery learning on mathematics achievement in terms of student's learning interest. The research methodology was a quasi-experimental and the design of the research was a 2x2 factorial. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri in Rantepao City in academic year 2014/2015. The population of research was made up of all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Rantepao from where a sample of 78 students was obtained by using cluster random sampling technique. Learning model as the independent variable, student's learning interest as intervening variable, and mathematics achievement of student as response variable. The treatment class group taught by using Discovery learning model. While the comparison group was taught by Direct Instruction. The data were collected using the mathematics learning test instrument and learning interest scale. The data collected were analyzed with two way ANOVA. The findings showed that: (1) learning model and interest in learning have an effect on student learning outcomes, and (2) Discovery learning model is better than Direct Instruction. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII even semester of SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung totaling 187 students. Sampling technique a. The technique used in this study is the cluster random sampling technique. Because the population is more than 100 people, the authors determine the sample in this study is 16% or as many as 30 students. This study aims to: (1) determine the percentage of students' abilities in solving spatial problems, (2) find out the causes of students' difficulties in solving spatial problems, (3) find out how to overcome students' difficulties in solving spatial problems. . Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded: (1) students who are able to solve spatial problems are 62.99% and those who have difficulty are 37.01%, (2) the causes of students experiencing difficulties in solving spatial problems are (1) students do not understand the concept of building space in applying it to a problem, (2) students are not careful in working on every question that exists. As for how to overcome student difficulties, namely: (1) increasing students' ability to understand the concept of building space by giving emphasis when delivering material (2) more evaluation in the form of practice questions at the end of each learning activity, (3) giving homework for finalize the material that has been presented.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketepatan siswa dalam memilih warna dan komposisi yang sesuai pada karya sulam teknik sulam bebas dengan motif flora dan fauna. Adapun populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-7 SMP Negeri 16 Medan dengan sampel 3 karya siswa dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan karya sulam yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan unsur seni rupa yang telah ditentukan yaitu warna dan komposisi. Secara keseluruhan kemampuan siswa SMP Negeri 16 medan dalam praktik menyulam dikatakan Cukup Baik. Siswa sudah memiliki kemampuan dalam menyatukan  motif-motif  yang  akan disulam  dan   hasil sulamnya pun rata-rata sudah  mendekati kategori cukup.Kata Kunci: sulam, warna, komposisi.AbstractThis study aims to determine the accuracy of students in choosing the right color and composition in the embroidery work of free embroidery work of free embroidery techniques with flora and fauna motifs. As for the population used in this study were all students of class VIII-7 junior high school 16 terrain with a sample of 3 students’ work using a random sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the work of embroidery that is examined and assessed based on predetermined fine art elements, namely color and composition. As a whole the ability of 16 field students in the field of embroidery is said to be quite good. Students already have the ability to unify the motif to be embroidered and results of embroidery are on average already close to the sufficient category. Keywords: embroidery, color, composition.

<p>The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning models to student achievement. Learning models compared between NHT-CTL, NHT and direct instruction. Method of research used quasi experimental with the factorial design of 3x1. Population of this research was all students class VIII in SMP Negeri at Madiun City. The sampling technique using a stratified cluster random sampling. Samples in this research were 266 students with 91 students as experimental class I, 88 students as experimental class II and 87 students as control class. Data collection methods used documentation and test.Hypothesis testing was performed using one-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. Based on the results of hypothesis testwere concluded that NHT-CTL learning model gave better achievement than NHT learning model and direct instruction, while NHT learning model and direct instruction gave the same achievement. </p>

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) terdapat perbedaan efektivitas dalam penggunaan  media pembelajaran dengan berbasis video dan tidak menggunakan media pada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Control Group Pretest- Posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 20 Batam kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian kelas eksperimen VIII.4 dan sampel kelas kontrol VIII.2. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t dua sampel. Sebelum data dianalisis, data terlebih dahulu diuji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis berdasarkan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat efektivitas antara pembelajaran dengan media pembelajaran berbasis video dengan pembelajaran konvensional yang ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata Kunci : media video pembelajaran, metode konvensional, pemahaman konsep matematis Abstract:This research aims to know: (1) whether there are effectiveness and the difference between using video based learning media and not using media with conventional learning reviewed from student mathematical concepts understanding. The kinds of this research is Quasi Experiments research with Control Group Pretest Posttest research design. The population of this research are all student at SMPN 20 Batam in class VIII academic years 2016/2017. Taking sampling was done by Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research sample of experiment class is VIII.4 and sample of control class is VIII.2. The data was analyzed with using t test two sampling. Before the data was analyzed, the data was first tested on the pre requisite of analysis, there are normality test and homogeneity test. Then, conducted hypothesis test based on the data. The result of this research showed that: (1) there was the difference between video based learning media with conventional learning toward student mathematical concepts understanding. Key Words : VBL, conventional methods, mathematical concepts understanding.

The one of problems which happened in learning activity is the lowness of student’s learning interest. Teacher has to do every ways to increase student learning interest. One alternative is to study the implementation of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) models. Operational objectives of this study was to measure the learning outcomes of biology and the application of learning models to analyze the influence of the material TAIpteridophyta to biology students learning interest. The research was conducted in SMAN 39 Jakarta in May 2012. The research method used is a quasi-experiment type of Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Based on calculations derived normally distributed data and homogeneous.Hypothesis test calculation results obtained tcount 2.97> 1.66 at α = t table 0.05, reject Ho.It can be concluded that there is influence the implementation of Team Assisted Individualization model of interest in studying biology at 39 Jakarta the high school students pteridophyta material.

This study aims to analyze conceptual understanding and increase student interest in learning by using assignment techniques in the form of material and SPLDV questions and also an assessment questionnaire. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects who were the research targets were class VIII in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH totaling 35 students. The research instrument used was an assignment questionnaire and an interest in learning outcomes. The material is used to provide understanding of the assignment and see the students' interest in learning the assessment subject. Seeing the interest in learning in student assignment techniques in solving problems with SPDLV Mathematics learning questions, students were given an assessment questionnaire on how the teacher applied Mathematics learning. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student interest in learning, The increase in research resulted in 11 highest numbers of learning interest, 21 moderate numbers and 3 were in the lowest numbers in student interest in learning. From the results of this study the researchers succeeded in suppressing the lowest number and increasing the highest number of students' understanding and interest in solving problems in learning mathematics. The results of the student's interest in learning obtained an increase in interest in learning by 6.58% in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH.

This research is based on the low learning interest of students at TPQ Masjid Baiturrahman Kelurahan Koto Lalang Kota Padang. This study aims to see the description of the atmosphere of the learning environment, description of interest in learning and see the relationship between the atmosphere of learning environment with learning interest of students at TPQ Masjid Baiturrahman. This research is a quantitative research with correlational type. The population in this study is 43 people. Samples were taken as many as 32 people using stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, and data collection tools are the percentages for viewing the description. And to see the relationship using product moment formula. The results showed: (1) the atmosphere of student learning environment is less conducive; (2) student interest is classified as low; and (3) there is a significant relationship between the atmosphere of the learning environment with student learning interest. Suggested to: TPQ management is expected to improve the physical condition of mosque building so that the learning process at TPQ become conducive, and to the teacher expected to create a conducive learning environment atmosphere, and the teacher is expected to make the students feel close to the teacher.

This research aimed to examine the effect of VAK approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) towards the result of learning physics of students at SMPN 10 Mataram in academic year 2013/2014. The kind of research used was experimental design with design of research was randomized posttest only control design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Population in this research was all the students from the eight grade at SMPN 10 Mataram, while the sample was 25 students of class VIII A as the experimental group and 27 students of class VIII B as the control group. The data obtained was analyzed by using t-test of two-tailed. t-count was 4.78 and t-table was 2.00 with significance level 0.05. Hence, t-table is smaller than t-count or t-count is bigger than t-table. It means that Null Hypothesis was rejected and Alternate Hypothesis was accepted. It means that the application of VAK Approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) affects the results of learning physics of students.Keyword: VAK Approach
