Abstract Many organizations are driven by the market to set their goals in their performance. Some of the goals are: cost reduction, achieving sales levels, increasing the number of customers, increasing the market percentage, improving productivity and quality, innovative products. Challenge becomes extremely acute in the case of companies that continue to expand on new markets. In order to be easily understood, the organization’s objectives should be translated into a language easy to understand for all levels of the organization, that is to be traced in clear objectives, specific to each position, being imparted to the level of unity, team and individual.

The present article is focused on impacts of social capital on transformation from efficiency to innovation-driven business. Such aspects of social capital as social relations, usage of human capital in innovation processes, expertise in market analysis are often ignored by entrepreneurs. The research purpose is to analyse the relation between social capital and transformation from efficiency to innovation-driven business. Main aspects of this relation are revealed by interpreting findings of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), which is to examine how different factors encourage economic development globally via entrepreneurship. Relying on a solid GEM methodology, which combines quantitative adult survey and qualitative expert interviews, various transformation problems of catching-up countries are analysed while paying a special attention to effects of social capital and illustrating them by the case of Lithuania. The role of human capital is measured by such factors as anticipated growth of headcount within respondents’ firms; social relations refer to social image of entrepreneurs (as it is impossible to have a strong social image without good social relations with stakeholders), while information/ knowledge diffusion is analysed via such effects as a number of companies that deliver innovative products and/or services, a number of customers who appreciate and want to try innovative products and/or services as well as a number of expected competitors in the market (it is impossible to be innovative and competitive in the market without information/ feedback collection system established).

Changes in economic activity on a global scale affect organizations due to modifications on their decision criteria, but also for the permanent character of the change. This situation implies an increase of the competition and also the appearance of new markets and opportunities. On the other hand the innovation not only offers major possibilities to guarantee the organization’s survival but also it allows to increase their competitive capacity; even turning into a generating element of the change and vice versa. But it will be the organization that inserts appropriately the above mentioned innovation, or that uses it better, the one that will be more competitive. The management of the organizational change, in this sense, turns into an influential factor in the creation of future and in the promotion of the available possibilities. This paper analyzes organizational management more adapted to the innovative processes of the Canary companies, as well as the underlying differences in the types of compared enterprises.

Islamic banks have grown stronger by continuing to provide innovative products and services to successfully increase the number of customers. So far, the majority of financing by Islamic banks controlled by murabaha financing almost 80% - 95%. In the bank's murabaha scheme as the seller (ba’i) to purchase necessary items and then resell it to customers, clients (musytari) with a sales price equivalent to the purchase price and profitability of banks. In reality, Islamic banks using wakalah empower customers to purchase their goods. Step wakalah apply concepts to customers is unwise because MUI Fatwa No.04 / DSN-MUI / IV / 2000 has determined that the sale of murabaha contracts made after the goods become the property of Islamic banking principles. The main problem in Indonesia is that there are legal provisions that are not in harmony and not based on actual consumer rights. It is geared toward legal uncertainty. To overcome various problems, this research adopted the method of analysis based on doctrinal content, by implementing four types of approaches to the law, namely: (i) history / historical; (ii) Jurisprudence / philosophy; (iii) comparison; and (iv) analytical and critical. In addition, harmonized approach is also necessary for legislative alignment with Islamic philosophy and the philosophy of consumer protection. By making Malaysia as a reference, this thesis aims to identify the application wakalah perspective and consumer protection improvement in Indonesia. In addition to this, the restructuring of the existing system in Indonesia is required by legislation harmony, improvement and diversification of institutional oversight mechanisms Islamic banking operations

Eco-innovation presents a tool that helps companies to transform environmental constraints into opportunities and advantages such as cost reduction, better reputation, and benefit for new markets. The purpose of the paper is to evaluate the perception of eco-innovation and green brands in the context of sustainability in Slovakia and their mutual relation. The applied research focused on the perception of eco-innovation and green brands. The survey was realized by the Kano model that provides customers’ opinions regarding the requirements of the monitored object. In our case, the research object is ecological innovation evaluated in terms of selected parameters. To generalize the relationships among examined parameters, cluster analysis was applied to identify clusters of examined parameters of ecological innovations. The aim of the contribution is to present the output of the cluster analysis in a form of a dendrogram showing a graphical grouping of related objects in three clusters that include examined parameters according to their perception by customers.

Abstract. Background: Tensions exist with various stakeholders facing competing interests in providing legal land-based and online regulated gambling products. Threats to revenue/taxation occur in response to harm minimisation and responsible gambling policies. Setting aside the concept of total prohibition, the objectives of responsible gambling are to encourage and/or restrict an individual’s gambling expenditure in terms of money and time to personally affordable limits. Stakeholder responsibilities: Governments craft the gambling environment through legislation, monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, and receive taxation revenue as a proportion of expenditure. Industry operators on the other hand, compete across market sectors through marketing and advertising, and through the development of commercially innovative products, reaping substantial financial rewards. Concurrently, governments are driven to respond to community pressures to minimize the range of negative gambling-related social, personal and economic harms and costs. Industry operators are exposed to the same pressures but additionally overlaid with the self-interest of avoiding the imposition of more stringent restrictive policies. Cooperation of stakeholders: The resulting tension between taxation revenue and profit making, harm minimization, and social impacts creates a climate of conflict between all involved parties. Data-driven policies become compromised by unsubstantiated claims of, and counter claims against, the nature and extent of gambling-related harms, effectiveness of policy strategies, with allegations of bias and influence associated with researchers supported by industry and government research funding sources. Conclusion: To effectively advance policies, it is argued that it is imperative that all parties collaborate in a cooperative manner to achieve the objectives of responsible gambling and harm minimization. This extends to and includes more transparent funding for researchers from both government and industry. Continued reliance on data collected from analogue populations or volunteers participating in simulated gambling tasks will not provide data capable of valid and reliable extrapolation to real gamblers in real venues risking their own funds. Failure to adhere to principles of corporate responsibility and consumer protection by both governments and industry will challenge the social licence to offer gambling products. Appropriate and transparent safeguards learnt from the tobacco and alcohol field, it is argued, can guide the conduct of gambling research.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of attitudes on the intention to choose Islamic banks, to analyze the effect of subjective norm on the intention to choose Islamic banks. to analyze the effect of the control behavior of the intention to choose the Islamic banks, to analyze the moderating influence of religiosity on the relationship attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control of the intention to choose the Islamic banks . The method used is a survey with a sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of this study was 100 respondents . Further analysis tools used in this study is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0 software . Based on this study it can be concluded that the attitude does not affect to the intention of choose Bank BRISyariah. Subjective norm positive effect on intention choose Bank BRISyariah. Control behavior does not affect to the intention choose Bank BRISyariah. Relationship between Attitudes, Subjective Norms and Behavior Control with the intention to select Bank BRISyariah not moderated by religiosity.Based on these conclusions can be said that the Bank BRISyariah should improve understanding related to the subjective norm in order to increase the number of customers who use the services of Islamic Banking . Further research is recommended in order to follow up and develop this research to further explore the independent and dependent variables continued before and after behavioral intention or intention to perform a specific action .

The rise of e-commerce has brought considerable changes to the relationship between firms and consumers, especially within international business. Hence, understanding the use of such means for entering foreign markets has become critical for companies. However, the research on this issue is new and so it is important to evaluate what has been studied in the past. In this study, we conduct a systematic review of e-commerce and internationalisation studies to explicate how firms use e-commerce to enter new markets and to export. The studies are classified by theories and methods used in the literature. Moreover, we draw upon the internationalisation decision process (antecedents-modalities-consequences) to propose an integrative framework for understanding the role of e-commerce in internationalisation

An accurate understanding of users' needs is essential for the development of innovative products. This article presents an exploratory method of user centered research in the context of the design process of technological products, conceived from the demands of a large information technology company. The method is oriented - but not restricted - to the initial stages of the product development process, and uses low-resolution prototypes and simulations of interactions, allowing users to imagine themselves in a future context through fictitious environments and scenarios in the ambit of ideation. The method is effective in identifying the requirements of the experience related to the product’s usage and allows rapid iteration on existing assumptions and greater exploration of design concepts that emerge throughout the investigation.
