Due to numerous transformation problems which determined the collapse of the industrial sector, unemployment and low living standards, an increasing number of working population leaves Serbia. For a very long time, Serbian emigration was directed primarily to the developed Western European countries (especially Germany and Austria). However, Slovakia has recently joined the narrow circle of countries-destinations for emigrants from Serbia. The article focuses on this wave of the working population emigration from Serbia to Slovakia and considers it in the framework of the contemporary migration theories, especially the push-and-pull factors theory. The research data was compared with the relevant data from previous studies. The research was conducted in the municipality of Kovačica (northern Serbia) with a questionnaire on the sample of 100 respondents (the snowball method was applied), and the authors also used various other data sources: statistical data (censuses, migration statistics, etc.), media reports and scientific papers. Given the unfavorable social-economic context of the Serbian working population emigration and the chosen theoretical framework, the authors considered economic factors as crucial for this wave of migration, which seems to be similar to the previous waves of migration. In general, this assumption was confirmed: emigrants from Serbia go to Slovakia for a variety of reasons, but the key ones are the small salary in Serbia, the impossibility to find a job in ones profession, and a poor financial and political situation in the country. On the other hand, Slovakia attracts Serbian migrants by offering possibilities to earn more money, to have higher living standards, better conditions for education and work, thus, promising a better and predictable future.

In this study, we considered various transformation problems for a left-truncated normal distribution recently announced by several researchers and then possibly seek to establish a unified approach to such transformation problems for certain type of random variable and their associated probability density functions in the generalized setting. The results presented in this research, actually unify, improve and as well trivialized the results recently announced by these researchers in the literature, particularly for a random variable that follows a left-truncated normal distribution. Furthermore, we employed the concept of approximation theory to establish the existence of the optimal value y_max in the interval denoted by (σ_a,σ_b) ((σ_p,σ_q)) corresponding to the so-called interval of normality estimated by these authors in the literature using the Monte carol simulation method.

The research purpose to describe and analyze the mathematical problem solving abilities of MTs students in solving Geometry Transformation problems through Online Learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic int Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 3 students of MTs Al-Hamid Class IX who were selected as representatives of the very good problem-solving ability category, the problem-solving ability level category was sufficient, and the problem-solving ability level category was lacking. The data collection technique used was a test consisting of 4 non-routine items and interviews. The results of the analysis can be obtained: (1) students with excellent problem-solving abilities are able to fulfill the 4 steps of solving according to their pattern but there are errors in understanding the problem in question 1. (2) students with sufficient problem-solving skills are only able to solve problems in question 1 and 2 while 3 and 4 there are errors in understanding the questions. (3) students with poor problem solving skills were only able to solve problems in question 2, while in questions 3,4 and 5 there were errors in understanding the questions. The student error factor is due to the lack of understanding of the concept of geometric transformation to do the test because the geometric transformation test questions given are non-routine, while the geometric transformations that are often encountered only substitute formulas without understanding the concept of geometric transformation which includes translation, reflection, rotation and dilation. Many have to do with everyday life so that students experience difficulties in what is meant in the questions, especially in questions 3 and 4.

We identify necessary and sufficient conditions for a quantum channel to be optimal for any convex optimization problem in which the optimization is taken over the set of all quantum channels of a fixed size. Optimality conditions for convex optimization problems over the set of all quantum measurements of a given system having a fixed number of measurement outcomes are obtained as a special case. In the case of linear objective functions for measurement optimization problems, our conditions reduce to the well-known Holevo-Yuen-Kennedy-Lax measurement optimality conditions. We illustrate how our conditions can be applied to various state transformation problems having non-linear objective functions based on the fidelity, trace distance, and quantum relative entropy.
