The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of price on brand image, the effect of price and brand image on consumer purchase intention, and the role of brand image in mediating the effect of price on the purchase intention towards iPhone product in Denpasar City. The population of this study are consumers with the intention to use iPhone product. The sampling method used in this study is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique by using certain consideration. The sample selected for this study was 110 respondents. Data is analysed using path analysis technique. The result of this research shows that price have a positive and significant effect on iPhone brand image, price and brand image have positive and significant effect on consumer purchase intention towards iPhone product, and brand image plays a mediating role on the relationship between price and purchase intention towards iPhone product in Denpasar.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran brand image dalam memediasi pengaruh country of origin terhadap niat beli motor Vespa Piaggio di kota Denpasar. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah non-probability berbentuk purposive sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 120 orang responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung di Kota Denpasar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dan uji sobel. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara country of origin terhadap brand image, hubungan yang positif dan singnifikan antara country of origin terhadap niat beli serta brand image mampu memediasi hubungan antara terhadap niat beli konsumen pada motor merek Vespa Piaggio di Kota Denpasar. Hasil tersebut berarti semakin baik citra negara asal merek serta semakin kuat brand image yang tertanam di benak konsumen, akan berpengaruh terhadap niat beli mereka akan suatu produk. Kata kunci: country of origin, brand image, niat beli ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to test the role of brand image in mediating the influence of country of origin on the intention to buy a motor Vespa Piaggio in the city of Denpasar. The method used to determine the sample is non-probability in the form of purposive sampling with sample size of 120 respondents. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires directly in Denpasar City. The analysis technique used is path analysis and test of sobel. The research findings show that there is a positive and significant correlation between country of origin to brand image, positive and significant relationship between country of origin to purchase intention and brand image able to mediate relationship between consumer purchase intention on Vespa Piaggio brand motor in Denpasar city. The result means the better the image of the home country of the brand and the stronger the brand image embedded in the minds of consumers, will affect their purchase intention of a product. This research aims to determine the role of brand awareness in mediating the effect between corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards purchase intention. The method used is a quantitative method with the type of research is descriptive. In this research, there are 3 variables : brand awareness, corporate social responsibility, and purchase intention. Sampling method used is purposive non-probability sampling with 129 respondents. The analysis technique used is mediation analysis. This research found that brand awareness as mediating variable significantly affect the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and purchase intention. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) through brand awareness have positive and significant influence simultaneously towards buying intention by 44.6%, and the rest 55.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of brand image in the influence of word of mouth on purchase intention. This research is conducted in Denpasar City with a total sample of 110 respondents. The criteria of respondents are measured using the purposive sampling technique. The criteria of respondents involved is they have never bought Samyang Hot Spicy Chicken noodle product before. The data collection is conducted by distributing questionnaires which is tested using the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used in this research is the path analysis technique and the Solimun theory. The result attained in this research shows that brand image, as a variable which mediates the influence of word of mouth on purchase intention, is therefore a partial mediator variable. This result proves that brand image is capable of being a mediator variable in the influence of word of mouth on purchase intention

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, service and price in influencing purchase intention, as well as to determine the role of brand image mediating the effect of product quality, service and price on purchase interest in the Daihatsu Xenia brand in South Tangerang. The population in this study are people in South Tangerang city who are involved in the process of searching for and purchasing lmpv vehicles. The sample used in this study were 190 respondents. The sampling method was done by using purposive sampling method. This study uses SEM data analysis techniques and data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that product quality is proven to have a positive and significant effect on brand image, service quality is proven to have a positive and significant effect on brand image, price is proven to have a positive and significant effect on brand image, product quality is not proven to have a positive and significant effect on brand image. Purchase interest, service quality is proven to have a positive but insignificant influence on purchase intention, price is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, brand image is proven to have a significant effect on purchase interest. Then in this study it is also proven that brand image fully mediates the relationship of product quality to purchase intention, brand image does not mediate the relationship of service quality to purchase intention, brand image partially mediates the relationship between price and purchase intention.

The purpose of this research is to know the role of brand image mediate the influence of celebrity endorser against purchase intention on a prospective consumer products lipstick Wardah. This research was conducted in Denpasar city, using a sample size as much as 108 respondents with a purposive sampling method. As for the data analysis technique used in this study is Path Analysis and accompanied by Sobel test to test the hypothesis put forward. Based on the results of research conducted, the brand image was able to mediate the celebrity endorser against purchase intention. Data of respondents are directly viewable is celebrity endorser of the positive and significant effect against brand Image; brand image is positive and significant effect against purchase intention; celebrity endorser of the positive and significant effect against purchase intention; as well as brand image are significantly able to mediate the celebrity endorser against purchase intention. Purchase intention provides a motivational effect that always recorded in the consumer mind and influential to their consumption behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of co-shopper and price as moderating variables in the relationship between tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention. The population in this study were local tourists who visited Banyuwangi and Osing t-shirt stores. The sampling technique was an accidental sampling that collected data from 100 respondents. The analytical method was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that tourist ethnocentrism and brand image have a positive effect on purchase intention. The influence of tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention is stronger when it moderated by the co-shopper variable. Conversely, the influence of tourist ethnocentrism and brand image on purchase intention was statistically not significantly moderated by price.

This study aims to investigate the impact of sponsorship events on the purchase intent of attendees, mediated by brand image. For the purpose of this study, attendee's purchase intention is treated as a dependent variable and brand image as a mediated variable. Independent variables are: brand awareness, attitude towards the event and event-sponsor fit. The study relied on collecting primary data through a self-prepared questionnaire. In total (400) questionnaires were distributed randomly to the sponsoring event attendees who could be reached by the researcher. Response rate was (96.75) percent.<strong> </strong>The results revealed all the variables under investigation have a significant effect on attendee’s purchase intention. The major effect on the attendee’s purchase intention was for brand awareness followed by attitude towards the event, the weakest effect was for event–sponsor fit. While the major effect on the attendee’s perception of the sponsoring brand image was for attitude towards the event followed by brand awareness, the event–sponsor fit was excluded. Furthermore, it is found that brand image mediates the relationship between brand awareness, attitude towards the event and attendee’s purchase intention.

This study aims to determine the effect of electronic word of mouth and brand image as a variable of mediation on the purchase intention of Yamaha Aerox motorcycle in Denpasar City. The population in this study is the citizens of Denpasar who have never made a purchase Yamaha Aerox motorcycle. The sample obtained by purposive sampling technique is 110 people. Data analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of analysis shows that electronic word of mouth have positive and significant effect to brand image, electronic word of mouth has positive and significant effect to purchase intention. Brand image has a positive and significant impact on purchasing intentions. Brand image has partial effect on electronic word of mouth with purchase intention. The coefficient of determination total in this research is 0,476 which mean variable purchase intention influenced equal to 47,6 percent by variable of electronic word of mouth and brand image, the rest 52,4% influenced by variable outside model. Electronic word of mouth and brand image must be considered and upgraded by Yamaha company especially for Yamaha Aerox motorcycle products, to create positive reviews and impressions to increase purchasing intention to consumers.

This study aims to explain the influence of perceived quality and emotional value towards purchase intention of Nike Running Shoes, and the role of emotional value in mediating the influence of perceived quality on the purchase intention of Nike Running Shoes. This research was conducted on people living in Denpasar City. The population of this study is infinite. The number of samples used was 100 respondents and, was determined using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data was collected through survey using questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis techniques. The results show that quality perception have a positive and significant effect on emotional value, and perceived quality also have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, while emotional value has a positive and significant influence on purchase intention and is able to mediate the relationship of perceived quality indirectly to purchase intention.
