Denpasar city tour as one of tourism product in Bali, also developed becomes one of favorite choice for tourist. Since tourism industry product is very dynamic and depends on the environment, it is important to know tourist’s perception and analysis about tourist satisfaction for variety of Denpasar city tour, for making some regulation to improve the product or making some innovation about the product. This research conducted by questionnaire method, also supported with interviews and direct observation. The results analyzed by using Importance-Performance Analysis. The result showed that tourist felt dissatisfaction about the product (Denpasar city tour) as shown at the indicator (92,75 percent), and cartecius diagram showed that there are some point that is important for the tourist and should be maintain the performance, such as variation object, facility in the object, reliable information. There are also some point that tourist feel it is important but they feel dissatisfaction about it. There are security checks and security staffs in the object.

After the outbreak of COVID-19 (especially in the stage of tourism recovery), the bed and breakfast (B&B) tourism industry faced big challenges in improving its health strategies. B&Bs are very important for the tourism industry in China and many other countries. However, few studies have studied the impact of B&Bs, under COVID-19, on tourism in China. Our paper is among one of the first studies to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on tourist satisfaction with B&Bs in China. The work/travel restrictions started from 20 January 2020, and work/after travel resumed from 20 February 2020 in Zhejiang, China. Data were collected from 588 tourists (who experienced B&Bs in Zhejiang, China) from a WeChat online survey, from 1 March to 15 March 2020. The current study attempted to fill the gap by studying the changing tourist satisfaction levels with B&Bs before/after COVID-19. Moreover, some suggestions are given to the B&B industry for tourism resumption after COVID-19 by an importance–performance analysis (IPA).

The tourism industry is strongly influenced by the perception and satisfaction of tourists towards a destination. Perception is considered in conjunction with dynamic tourist expectations and perceptions. They are changing, so it is important to measure the tourist perception routinely. Perception is used as a base by travellers for assessing the quality of services rendered to them. This study aims at assessing the perception of tourists to some of the attributes of the Nusa Dua Tourism area and measuring tourist satisfaction against some of these attributes. The attributes to be measured are: environment and food. This research is a quantitative research. It employs questionnaires to collect data. Data were collected from 280 respondents who were selected through random sampling. The descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, and average) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) are employed to determine the perception and satisfaction of tourists towards the attributes of environmental and food at the Nusa Dua Tourism area. The result showed that Nusa Dua area management had provided excellent service to the two attributes and had considered them as important components in delivering satisfaction with their visit in Nusa Dua tourism area. The findings, from a marketing perspective is as a basis for the management of the Nusa Dua Tourism area in making policies for the improvement of the region, especially in meeting the tourists’ perception and satisfaction.

The tourism sector is experiencing numerous challenges as a result of the global economic crisis. After a significant contraction in 2009, tourism rebounded strongly  in  2010  and  in  2011  the  international  tourist  arrivals  and  receipts  are projected to increase substantially. The Tourism industry is expected to show a sustained recovery in 2012. The crisis has particularly strong impact and slightly negative consequences in Bangladesh. The country is undergoing a political crisis, as well, and it seems that the forthcoming elections may be the only solution for the restoration of stability and social peace.  In addition, tourism can be the driving force behind Bangladesh economic recovery. However, for its achievement the country’s policy makers should take several measures towards restructuring and improving the sector. These measures include: enhancement of alternative forms of tourism; environmental protection; creation of quality infrastructure; and boost of competitiveness through a tourism product that offers value for money

Objective - This study proposed a model to test the impacts of the four dimensions of service innovation (i.e., process innovation, organisational innovation, marketing innovation and product innovation) on tourist satisfaction in the Malaysian tourism. Methodology/Technique - Measurement items for the dimensions of service innovation were developed through focus group interviews. A convenience sampling approach was adopted with the distribution of 400 questionnaires among local and foreign tourists. Statistical tolls in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) were adopted to analyse the reliability of items and the hypothesised relationships in the proposed research model. Findings - The findings reveal that the respective dimensions of service innovation are significantly related to tourist satisfaction. These findings contribute to the services marketing body of knowledge by providing insight on the impact of service innovation on tourist satisfaction. Novelty - Limited studies have been done to examine the impact of service innovation dimensions on tourist satisfaction.The findings of this study contribute to the services marketing body of knowledge by providing insight on the impact of service innovation on tourist satisfaction. At the same time to address the practical implications by recommending relevant and effective service innovation strategies for the tourism industry in Malaysia. This knowledge is useful for benchmarking better service innovation practices among the industry practitioners. Purpose – The tourism industry service network (TISN) is considered to be one of the largest components of tourism in the modern Vietnamese economy. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) is currently developing a long-term plan to diversify the country’s tourism industry and to improve the destination image of Vietnam. To successfully implement this plan, the Vietnamese tourism industry must employ effective promotional strategies. Design – This study designs to determine the necessity of measuring the effectiveness of the promotional activities of tourist destinations and to decide upon a promotional strategy that appropriately parallels the desired destination attributes and destination image. Methodology – This study proposes to address tourism promotional efficiency using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) methodology, a decision-making method based on pairwise comparisons between criteria, and constructs an evaluation structure with criteria-associated weights for factor selection. Approach – In accordance with AHP design, this study selects participants who had been in charge of or served in the Vietnamese tourism industry for a number of years. Findings – This study finds that “government policy”, “service staff” and “tourist satisfaction” are the three most important factors impacting tourism promotional effectiveness. Surprisingly, “tourist loyalty” and “tourism infrastructure” are considered to be the least important factors affecting tourism promotional efficiency. Originality of the research – This study provides valuable information and knowledge of tourism promotional effectiveness to be fully shared and passed on in the tourism industry, resulting in a corporate cultural atmosphere that creates the innovative impetus of destination attributes and images.

The tourism industry is expanding its influence on the region’s economy by increasing the accessibility and accessibility of tourist facilities (development of transport infrastructure, communication and information technologies, formation of extensive networks of the hospitality industry, wholesale and retail trade, etc.). A characteristic feature of the regional tourism industry is the multiplicative economic effect, which is manifested through the positive dynamics of economic indicators of business entities involved in the business process of creating and implementing a comprehensive tourism product. The paper proves that the sphere of tourism is formed and developed in the relevant area under the influence of various factors that are reproduced in this area. However, the sphere of tourism itself is considered as a factor that influences and changes the socio-economic development of the region. The main indicator of the multiplier effect is the cost of tourists, so the policy of the region should be aimed at maximally stimulating such costs. This is the first task of maximizing the multiplier effect. The second task is to reduce the level of savings. Recognizing the fact that the impact of the multiplier effect of tourism, compared to the impact of other activities, is the most significant because it is a catalyst for the development of many industries, considering existing models for calculating the generalized multiplier (and on their basis), the author proposes to create a method of accounting for the indirect impact of tourism on a number of components of the economy and social sphere (differentiated model of the multiplier) of the region and the country as a whole. The assessment of individual components of the tourism multiplier should be based on a clear methodological basis and the availability of appropriate software. Thus in each component of the tourist multiplier the contribution to the corresponding sector of economy and social policy of the state should be considered. Thus, the use of a tourism multiplier to assess the impact of social processes on the tourism industry makes it possible to determine the equilibrium relationship between consumption and income, ie the process of income generation in different sectors of the economy, at the expense of tourists and tourists.

The research of the conformation and development of innovative tourist products is a current problem today. The article summarized and systematized the innovative features of the tourist product in order to build the tourist industry and increase the competitiveness of the tourist industry. It stated that innovation is a necessary process in creating a new attractive tourist product, also in creating сonducive conditions for intensifying the activity of investors in the tourist sphere of the country. The following types of innovations in the tourist industry are listed, namely: product, technological, marketing, service, organizational and management innovations and innovations of logistics. The competitive strengths which should be the basis of formation of competitiveness of Ukraine in the field of tourist business, are highlighted, namely: unique healing climate, numerous territories with therapeutic opportunities, considerable historical and cultural potential, attractiveness of our country's tourist industry for foreign investment. Also defined are the problematic directions regarding the tourist attractiveness of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the state should support the development of tourist business in Ukraine in accordance with the following principles: to provide financing in accordance with the needs of the industry, to create favorable conditions for its further development, to determine and maintain priority directions of the development of the industry, to support and protect the Ukrainian and foreign tourists, tour operators and agents and their associations. The popular and new innovative directions of tourist, trends and technologies that are currently in demand with tourists are identified. Each tourist trend direction is described. The main requirements are listed and proposals are made to create an innovative tourist product.

Innovation is essential for long-term competitiveness of firms. The lack of innovation can reduce the competitiveness of firms in the hospitality and tourism industry. Therefore, Halal entrepreneurs in the Halal travel market must prepare for a future led by innovation and technology and to build scalable, digitally enabled business models. There are many innovative opportunities that can be translated into Halal tourism product/services for Muslim and non-Muslim travellers. Some aspects of Halal travel may also satisfy the demands of the non-Muslim market. The paper discusses seven innovative opportunities that could be exploited by Halal entrepreneurs in the hospitality and tourism market. The findings are useful for entrepreneurs to develop Halal products and services for Muslim and non-Muslim travellers.

Tourism literature is awash with evidence of the value of domestic tourism to the tourism industry in general. However; there is limited knowledge of how domestic tourism is contributing towards sustainable tourism development especially in developing countries. This study explored the contribution of domestic tourism to sustainable tourism development in Zimbabwe, one developing country in Southern Africa. Using qualitative methodologies, data were collected and thematically analysed. The study revealed that domestic tourism has both positive and negative contributions to sustainable tourism development in unique ways. In conclusion, it was noted that without domestic tourism, Zimbabwe as a tourism destination would be struggling to grow its tourism product offering and expand its market share on the global tourism market.
