This study aimed to analyze the types of errors in writing recount texts and identify the source of errors in students. The subjects of this study were tenth-grade students of Languages major ??at SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan with a total of 31 students. This research was qualitative descriptive research. Data were collected from students' writing assignments, questionnaires, and interviews. This study used the theory of Dulay et al. (1982) to find out the types of errors supported with the theory from Sawalmeh (2013) regarding spelling errors which was supported by the theory from Besten & Granger (2011). The theory from Brown (2007) was used to find out the source of students' errors. The results of this study indicate that the types of errors found in student texts are omission, misformation, addition, misordering, and spelling. Sources of student errors are interlingual transfer, intralingual transfer, the context of learning, and communication strategy.

This study aimed to describe the value of cohesion and coherence contained in the translation of the Qur'an surah Al Zalzalah. This study was a qualitative descriptive research, research data collection techniques using three techniques namely, inventory, rading and understanding, and record keeping. The data analysis used the coding of data, classification data, and the determination of the data. The results showed that the cohesion markers used in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: 1) reference, 2) pronouns, ie pronouns second person, and third, the relative pronoun, the pronoun pointer, pen pronouns and pronouns owner, 3 ) conjunctions, namely temporal conjunctions, coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and conjunctions koorelatif, and 4) a causal ellipsis. It mean that there was a coherence in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: the addition or addition, pronouns, repetition or repetition, match words or synonyms, in whole or in part, a comparison or ratio of conclusions or results. Keywords: Cohesion, Coherence, sura Al Zalzalah AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai kohesi dan koherensi yang terdapat dalam terjemahan Al-Qur’an surah Al Zalzalah. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tiga teknik yakni, inventarisasi, baca simak, dan pencatatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengodean data, pengklasifikasian data, dan penentuan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemarkah kohesi yang digunakan dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: 1) referensi, 2) pronomina, yaitu kata ganti orang kedua, dan ketiga, kata ganti penghubung, kata ganti penunjuk, kata ganti penanya dan kata ganti empunya, 3) konjungsi, yaitu konjungsi temporal, konjungsi koordinatif, konjungsi subordinatif, dan konjungsi koorelatif, dan 4) elipsis kausal. Sarana koherensi yang terdapat di dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: penambahan atau adisi, pronomina, pengulangan atau repetisi, padan kata atau sinonim, keseluruhan atau bagian, komparasi atau perbandingan simpulan atau hasil.Kata Kunci: Kohesi, Koherensi, surah Al Zalzalah

This research focuses on how leadership has a major role in addressing environmental issues, especially through the garbage bank program as a form of case study. Furthermore, the problems that occur in the midst of society are often rely solely on political will or political desire to solve them. The research is to know and learn Lurah's (head of village) leadership in the management of waste banks specifically. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through structured interviews, documentation and observations. Researchers conducted an analysis using leadership theory from Yukl, where the theory discusses leadership comprehensively. Researchers only focus on five parts of the concept that are considered relevant, namely: visionary, guidance, affiliative, democratic and communicative concepts. The results of this study based on these dimensions are good enough Lurah (head of village) leadership. But there are several things that are considered able to optimize the running of the program through the role of Lurah (Head of village) leadership, namely: first, involving active knots and community leaders such as MUI, academics to support scientific aspects, and professionals in the field of practical management. This research aims to describe the forms of compliance and violation of cooperation principle which have been occurred at Class 1 of Bengkulu Immigration Office. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Sources of data in this research were officers and applicants. This research data was a speech event that it told by officers and applicants which contain of  cooperation principle in it. Data collection was conducted start from date March 20th until April 6th, 2017. The instrument used in this research were a human instrument with hardware tools in the form of notebooks and smartphones, and software such as limitation and understanding maxims of conversation/cooperation principle (maxim quantity, maxim quality, maxim relevance, and maxim manner. Data collected by recording technique and note technique. Data analysis were done by steps as follow;  data transcription, data identification, data classification, data interpretation, data validation, and data conclusion. The results of this research showed that two conclusions. First, the forms of compliance with the cooperation principle which have been occurred at center of Class 1 of Bengkulu Immigration Service which consist from four maxims based on Grice maxim and six maxims of mixed results between the maxim of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner were found when conducting research in the field. Second is the forms of violation of cooperation principle at center of Class 1 of Bengkulu Immigration Service which consist from four maxims based on Grice maxim and five maxims mixed found when conducting research in the field. Keywords: Cooperation Principle, Conversation, Maxim

The problems discussed in this study are as follows. 1) What do speakers mean in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family? 2) What is meant by partners in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family? The objectives of this study are as follows: 1) what the speaker meant in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family 2) what is meant by partners talking in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family. Type of qualitative descriptive research. Data sources were disclosed by the Banjar community in Kampung Tabah, Banjar Regency. The time of data collection is January 2019 until March 2019. The technique of data collection is recording and recording. This research uses three steps of work, namely (1) providing data; (2) data analysis; and (3) presentation of the results of data analysis. The theory used is speech act. Data analysis results. 1). the purpose of the speaker in this title. Asking to buy something. b. asking to get something c. asking to do something immediately. d. forbid something. e. remind something. Meanwhile the purpose of the partners talking a. accept with pleasure b. accept by force. c. reject firmly. The conclusion is that the purpose of the speaker is to make the couple do something, while the couple's intention is to accept, accept by force, and refuse altogether

This study aims to determine students’ mathematical literacy skills in solving PISA mathematical problems. Mathematical literacy is the capacity of individuals to formulate, use, and interpret mathematics in various contexts. Students’ mathematical literacy skills can be seen in the way students work in solving PISA questions. This study is qualitative descriptive research. Data from the analysis of students’ mathematical literacy skills were obtained through tests in the form of descriptive questions adopted from PISA questions, analysis based on indicators of mathematical literacy skill according to PISA, and the interview results with students who worked on the PISA questions. This study shows that students’ mathematical literacy skills were in the medium to the low category; this can be seen from the percentage of students’ answer scores in working on PISA questions. Therefore, it is necessary to provide reasoning questions such as PISA questions to help students improve their mathematical literacy skills.

This study aims to determine the process of implementation the <em>parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attarasa’s </em>tradition in the Konjo community adult process, how is the existance of the <em>parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attarasa’s </em>tradition in the modern area, and how is the islamic perspective on the procession of tradition. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data sources are primary and secondary data. Researcher as a key instrument. Data collection methods are observation, deep interview and documentation. <em>Parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attrarasa’s </em>tradition is a traditional ceremony held by Konjo community in eastern Bulukumba, when  a child enters adulthood. The traditional still exists carried out by the community of Konjo until now, as a way to appreciate the ancestrals heritage. According to the islamic perpective on the procession of the traditional ceremonies, such as the presentation of offerings and flattening of teeth <em>(attarasa)</em> is considered contradictory to the existing rules in islam.<br /><p align="center"> </p>

This research aims to find out about the problems of education quality faced by SD / MI in Kuantan Singingi Regency based on the results of the 2019 accreditation. The research was revealed in 97 schools/madrasah at SD/MI.  It was designed as a qualitative descriptive research. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The findings show that the problems faced by schools/madrasah based on the achievements of the accreditation results in 2019 are on fulfilling the standards of educators, education personnel, educational facilities and infrastructure standards. Fulfillment of the standards of educators and educational staff including those related to academic qualifications of educators, educators’ certificates ownership, teachers’ educational suitability background and their teaching staff adequacy. Whereas the standard of facilities and infrastructure are related to the completeness of facilities and infrastructure such as: teacher's room, library, UKS, circulation, canteen ownership, and learning aids.

RÉSUMÉ. L’activité de traduction n’est pas une tâche facile, surtout pour les apprenants en langues étrangères. Par conséquent, les erreurs survenues dans le processus de traduction ne peuvent être évitées, notamment les erreurs grammaticales. Cette recherche vise à décrire les erreurs grammaticales commmises dans la traduction d’articles de presse en indonésien traduits en français par des étudiants; et de trouver les erreurs les plus fréquentes. Cette recherche met en oeuvre une méthode de recherche descriptive qualitative. Les données utilisées dans cette recherche ont été extraites de 87 textes d'articles de presse en indonésien traduits en français, effectués par des étudiants du département de français du septième semestre dans une université à Bandung, en Indonésie. Les résultats de cette étude devraient enrichir les connaissances dans le domaine de l'analyse des erreurs grammaticales sur les résultats de la traduction. Mots clés : analyse des erreurs, erreurs grammaticales, articles de presse, traduction. ABSTRACT. Translation activity is not an easy activity to do especially by learners of foreign languages. Hence, errors occurred in the translation process cannot be avoided, one of which is errors that occur in grammatical aspects. This research was conducted to describe errors in the grammatical aspects found in the translation of Indonesian language press articles that had been translated into French by students; and to propound the frequency of errors that were most often done. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data used in this research were taken from 87 translated-texts from Indonesian language press articles into French conducted by seventh semester students of French Department in one university in Bandung, Indonesia. The results of this research are expected to enrich the knowledge in the field of grammatical error analysis on the results of the translation. The study was intended to analyze the casual language variations in the iloquestionnaire's speechs on the public discussion activities. This study uses sociolinguistics concepts from John R Searle’s theory to analyze the problems of casual language variations and any form of iloquestionnaire's speechs. This study is a qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique that used is purposive sampling method, which in taking samples is concerned with the purpose and problems of research. Data obtained by using transcription videos of “diskusi publik kedaulatan dan kebudayaan bersama cak Nun”. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The data analysis techniques are as follows: 1) looking back over the data already collected, 2) classifying the data according to the question of variations in casual language and iloquestionnaire's speech, 3) interpreting the data with a sociolinguistic approach and John R Searle's theory, and 4) concluding the findings. Studies showed that discussion activities use a variety of casual language with characteristic Javanese, Alegro forms, elliptic sentences, and a mixture of the foreign language code, English and Arabic, and Normative. In the discussion activities, there are various forms of iloquconsequence, referral, commission, expressive, and declarative

The use of good and correct Indonesian language should be applied in the daily life of the Indonesian people. But there are still many we find the use of Indonesian which is still wrong. The language used by the community is very diverse, both the Indonesian language as a unitary language or regional language which is the mother tongue originating from various regions in Indonesia. This diversity gives rise to uniqueness or diversity in language. One of them is the habit of Indonesian people to use the word "anu" very often found in everyday community interactions. This article aims to find the use of language that exists in the community focused on the daily speech used by the community in the diversity of languages and cultural diversity that exists in the Sebelas Maret University area. And aims to determine the politeness aspects of the use of the word "anu" both in terms of negative and positive aspects in the activities of interaction between communities. This article uses the type of qualitative descriptive research. Data obtained from students' conversations with the public. After being collected, the data is analyzed. Data analysis was carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data recording, data presentation followed by the conclusion of the research results. The results of this study indicate that the level of awareness of Indonesian language that is good and right is still very low community and the need for government attention to increase awareness of Indonesian language that is good and right in the community.
