Security issues have become a major issue on the Internet. One of the security methods that are widely used today is to implement a digital certificate. Digital certificates have evolved over time, one of which is the X.509 digital certificate. Digital certificates have been widely used as authentication applications, web network authentication and other authentication systems that require digital certificates. This research is carried out by implementing an X.509 digital certificate technology as a mobile web service with its client. Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA), Diffie-Hellman, and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) are used to secure the data exchange transaction between the web service and mobile phone. SHA algorithm will be used for user authentication, Diffie-Hellman algorithm will be used for public key exchange and AES algorithms will be used for symmetric cryptography data. The results of the application of digital certificates, the SHA algorithm, Diffie-Hellman, and AES in mobile phone applications, provide security application running on web service. Index Terms—Digital Certificate, X.509, SHA, Diffie Hellman, AES

We incorporate innovations from the <tt>&lt;bigwig&gt;</tt> project into the Java language to provide high-level features for Web service programming. The resulting language, JWIG, contains an advanced session model and a flexible mechanism for dynamic construction of XML documents, in particular XHTML. To support program development we provide a suite of program analyses that at compile-time verify for a given program that no run-time errors can occur while building documents or receiving form input, and that all documents being shown are valid according to the document type definition for XHTML 1.0.<br /> <br />We compare JWIG with Servlets and JSP which are widely used Web service development platforms. Our implementation and evaluation of JWIG indicate that the language extensions can simplify the program structure and that the analyses are sufficiently fast and precise to be practically useful.

The success of an event, especially a seminar cannot be separated from the success of the organizer to get participants. The scattered challenges faced by the seminar organizers are closely related to the ease and convenience of the procedures applied to order seminar tickets to prospective participants. So that the application of information and communication technology is needed by the organizer as a tool to provide convenience and comfort to prospective participants. Ticket reservations are generally done manually and still use tickets in printed. An application is needed to speed up and simplify the ticket booking process for prospective participants. To solve this problem, prospective seminar participants will use the seminar ticket booking application via a smartphone device. This application uses the RESTful API on the Laravel framework, as one of the implementations of web service. Security of data exchange between android devices and web services using Laravel Passport, as a token generator API. The architecture that is applied in the development of android applications is the MVP architecture (Model, View, Presenter). Using QR-codes on tickets and sending tickets via e-mail participants can also avoid the possibility of loss and damage to tickets obtained by participants.

With the growing era of the Internet of Things (IoT), more and more devices are connecting with the Internet using android applications to provide various services. The IoT devices are used for sensing, controlling and monitoring of different processes. Most of IoT devices use Android applications for communication and data exchange. Therefore, a secure Android permission privileged mechanism is required to increase the security of apps. According to a recent study, a malicious Android application is developed almost every 10 s. To resist this serious malware campaign, we need effective malware detection approaches to identify malware applications effectively and efficiently. Most of the studies focused on detecting malware based on static and dynamic analysis of the applications. However, to analyse the risky permission at runtime is a challenging task. In this study, first, we proposed a novel approach to distinguish between malware and benign applications based on permission ranking, similarity-based permission feature selection, and association rule for permission mining. Secondly, the proposed methodology also includes the enhancement of the random forest algorithm to improve the accuracy for malware detection. The experimental outcomes demonstrate high proficiency of the accuracy for malware detection, which is pivotal for android apps aiming for secure data exchange between IoT devices.

E-government interoperability frameworks in Europe and the standards they reference are diverse, often reflecting different legal and policy priorities across the continent. Selected examples from a number of member states illustrate how legal interoperability impacts the choice or creation of e-Government standards. It looks at the situation of technical interactions, especially the use of web service standards, then at two data exchange standards, two metadata standards, and the current work on linked open data. The examples discussed represent different use cases (Government to Government / G2G, Government to Business / G2B, Government to Citizen / G2C), allowing an overview over the current situation in Europe.

ABSTRACTA computational cost comparative study through both Java and C applications was developed. Computational routines consist of a matrix multiplications, the discrete cosine transform and the bubble-sorting algorithm. Memory and Runtime for each application were measure. It was determined that the runtime of matrix multiplication in Java was within the limits of 200 and 300 milliseconds, as opposed to the application developed in C, which shown to be stable with an execution period less than 20 milliseconds. In the ordering algorithm with the bubble method, it was observe that the Java language show be very slow compared to C. In addition, the memory usage was lower in most of the applications, showing a minimum difference. Applications were tested in both, a mobile LG-E510f and a Laptop Toshiba Satellite. The study allowed to report the profit generated in both runtime and memory consumption when performing a native implementation in C and Java.

In the world of education, it was found that there were students who had problems in terms of motivation and enthusiasm that were lacking in learning. Likewise the expectations of students get a high score, but get a less grade at the end of the semester. Of course there is a need to monitor the progress or achievement of each student. In this study the author uses Web service and Android technology which aims to build mobile applications with the Android platform, which can serve to help students monitor academic development. The development method used in this study is prototyping, which is a model process that makes the output of development a prototype. From the teacher's side the researchers used a Web platform using the Code Igniter framework with the Maria DB database. The programming language used in the study consists of php to handle from the teacher side, Java to handle the logic of the program from the student side. The tools used in this study are Android studio for handling Android applications, Sublime Text as a text editor to make it easier for writers to write programs, Emulator Genymotion as a virtual machine to conduct initial tests of Android applications, Mozilla Firefox for testing Web Applications.
