Abstrak. Bullying merupakan jenis kekerasan yang paling umum terjadi pada remaja di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga, kebahagiaan di sekolah, dan self-esteem dengan bullying pada remaja. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 121 remaja (45 laki-laki dan 76 perempuan) berusia 12 - 15 tahun yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Family Functioning in Adolescence Questionnaire (FFAQ), School Children’s Happiness Inventory (SCHI), Self-Esteem Scale (SSC), dan Multidimensional Peer Victimization Scale (MPVS). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang simultan antara keberfungsian keluarga, kebahagiaan di sekolah dan self-esteem dengan perilaku bullying dengan arah hubungan negatif. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya peran keluarga dan sekolah untuk mencegah tindakan bullying pada remaja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap Self-Esteem korban body shaming. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Adapun sampel yang diambil adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Raden Fatah Palembang angkatan 2017 berjumlah 77 Mahasiswa. Data diambil melalui analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan membuat kuesioner melalui google form dan menggunakan Whatsapp sebagai media penelitian. Penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa kondisi self-esteem korban body shaming sempat merasakan kesedihan yang mendalam, down, namun karena support dari orang-orang sekitar korban kembali bersyukur dengan bentuk tubuhnya, bangga, dan lebih mencintai dirinya. Korban berhasil melawan body shaming dengan cara mengabaikan cibiran dari orang lain, korban tetap percaya diri dengan berprestasi, menyibukkan diri melakukan hal-hal positif, dan mampu menginspirasi plus size women lainnya untuk tetap percaya diri dan bangga terhadap dirinya. Maka dari itu ada pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal yang signifikan terhadap self-esteem korban body shaming (studi pada konten Youtube kitabisa.com “curhat perempuan plus size melawan body shaming) dengan hasil uji t yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel atau 5.487 > 2.000 dengan signifikan 0,05 dengan tingkat korelasi dan kekuatan hubungan variabel X dan variabel Y maka didapatkan nilai R = 0,366 dan termasuk dalam kategori lemah, sedangkan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana Y = a + Bx = 21,855 + 0,290.

Anxiety facing exams refers to the student's tendency to understand evaluativ situations where their performance will be assessed, such as high-risk exams, as they are very threatening. The threat here is their self-esteem, fear will be judged negatively by teachers, friends, or parents.  The purpose of this research is to seek the validity and reliability of the TAI-G scale. This research uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples of this study was 101 SMA/SMK students in Magelang with an age range of 15-17 years. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling techniques. The results of the analysis show 21 items declared valid with a correlation of item-Total 0.25, 1 invalid item with a total-item correlation of 0.25, and an alpha reliability of 0.907.

Perusahaan membutuhkan karyawan yang kompeten dan berkualitas. Karyawan merupakan aset terpenting yang harus mereka jaga dan kembangkan, oleh karena itu perusahaan dituntut untuk senantiasa mengoptimalkan kepuasan kerja para karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhself esteem dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawanpada PT. PLN (Persero) area Bulukumba, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif – asosiatif, Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara probability sampling pada simple random sampling,sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 90 responden. Data selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang menggunakan Uji validitas dan Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis regresi berganda, Koefisien korelasi, Koefisien determinasi, Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self esteem,dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan padaPT. PLN (Persero) area Bulukumba. Sedangkan, secara parsial self esteem, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan padaPT. PLN (Persero) area Bulukumba.Korelasi atau hubungan antara self esteem,dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan padaPT. PLN (Persero) area Bulukumbaadalah kuat. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah self esteem, dan lingkungan kerja memiliki peranan yang sangat penting baik secara individual maupun secara bersama-sama dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.

This objective research is to know the relationship between self esteem and consumptive behavior on adolescence at Banda Aceh and the hypothesis presented in this objective research are there is a negative relationship between self esteem and consumptive behavior on adolescence at Banda Aceh. The sample in this objective research involving 84 adolescence and sampling design by using simple random sampling. The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between emerging issues of bullying and self-esteem among Secondary School Students in Bungoma County, Kenya. The Social-Ecological Theory and Psychosocial Theory guided the study. The research population was 29,040 Form 3 students, Deputy Principals and Guidance and Counseling teachers from 360 secondary schools participated in the study. A sample size of 399 students was drawn from boys, girls and co-education schools. Form Three Students were randomly selected from the sampled schools. The study adopted a cross-sectional research design using mixed-method approaches and correlational design. Both qualitative and quantitative data was collected concurrently. Stratified random sampling and simple random sampling was used to sample schools and students, respectively. A pilot study was conducted on the 30 Form Three students selected from three categories of secondary schools in Bungoma County. Data was collected using a self-response questionnaire and interview schedule guide. Descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation and percentages were used to analyse and describe data quantitative data.  Inferential statistics such as Pearson Correlation statistics, ANOVA was used to test the significance of the stated hypothesis at the alpha level (α = 0.05). The qualitative data was thematically analysed based on the objectives and presented through texts. All analysis was done using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 21.0. The findings revealed that there was a relationship between emerging forms of bullying and self-esteem R2 =.388 (38.8%).

Attachment styles adopted by parents are essential in development of adolescent psychosocial wellbeing. This phenomenon is more profound in blended families where there are multiple relationships that can lead to many challenges. However, with appropriate attachment styles adopted by step parents such challenges can be mitigated. The purpose of this study was to assess the influence of attachment styles on adolescents’ self-esteem among secondary school students from blended family in Kiambu County, Kenya. Attachment theory by Bowlby guided this study. The study adopted a mixed method approach, descriptive causal effect design and pragmatic paradigm to guide the study. Multi-stage sampling method and inclusive /exclusive criteria were used. Firstly the study adopted survey method as the sampling technique because the total population of adolescents that came from blended families was unknown. Simple random sampling was used to select 9 schools and also determine the 5 classes to be sampled in each of these schools. The 5 classes had a population of 55 students each. A short questionnaire with demographic data of students was issued to all the students (2475) in a bid to elicit the adolescents from the said classes that came from blended families in the 9 schools. A total number of 208 adolescents from blended families in the 9 schools was elicited and this was considered a sufficient sample size. In addition, simple random sampling was used to sample 24 respondents to form 4 focus groups while purposive sampling was used to sample 4 counsellors from 9 schools for in-depth interview. Data was collected using questionnaires, counsellors’ interview schedule and focus group discussions. Inventory for Parent and Peer Attachment Scale and Rosenberg Scales were used as measuring tools. Data was analysed through descriptive statistics, statistical assumption tests, correlation tests- T- test and ANOVA analysis while qualitative data was analysed by use of narrative analysis. Findings were presented in form of tables while interview data was presented in narrative form. Permission to conduct the study was obtained from the National Council for Science and Technology, the Kiambu County Government, Ethical approval was sought from accredited IERC (Institutional Ethics Review Committee) as well as a written informed consent from the school administration. Results indicated that attachment styles adopted by step parents influence the establishment of adolescent self- esteem. The study will benefit Ministry of Education, counsellors, parents, families and society.

Tingginya angka kasus positif COVID-19 menyebabkan masyarakat untuk mengubah kebiasaan dan cara berkomunikasi luring menjadi daring. Hal ini berdampak tingginya penggunaan media sosial pada remaja yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku remaja. Pengaruh dari penggunaan sosial media secara berlebihan dapat menyebabkan seseorang mengalami gangguan mental seperti stres, kecemasan, depresi, rendahnya self esteem, gangguan tidur, dan body image. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dari intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesehatan mental pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Mulawarman di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 200 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni kuesioner Social Networking Time Use Scale (SONTUS) dan Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS). Data dikumpulkan secara online menggunakan google form dan data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil studi menunjukkan terdapat 24.5% mahasiswa mengalami stress sedang, 10.5% lainnya mengalami stress parah dan 6% mengalami stress sangat parah.. Korelasi positif ditemukan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan tingkat stres (p-value = 0,001, r =0,270). Kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan media sosial  maka semakin parah tingkat stres yang dialami. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya memberikan informasi kepada remaja mengenai bagaimana penggunaan media sosial yang tepat dan sehat untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif terutama kesehatan mental remaja.

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Remaja berusaha berpenampilan semenarik mungkin guna memperoleh pengakuan serta daya tarik (Engkus dan Hikmat, 2017). Media sosial merupakan candu bagi remaja, semakin aktif di media sosial akan semakin keren dan gaul (Secsio et al., 2016). Tindakan mengunggah foto atau video dengan intensitas sering mengganggu tercapainya perkembangan diri optimal. Penggunaan media sosial berlebihan memicu timbulnya cyberbulying, berupa kata merendahkan, menekan dan bernada kekerasan yang membahayakan self-esteem. Self-esteem merupakan faktor yang berhubungan terhadap kecenderungan narsistik dan aktualisasi diri seseorang.Metode: Desain penelitian cross- sectional dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Variabel independen adalah intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Variabel dependen adalah kecenderungan narsisme menggunakan instrumen versi pendek dari narcissistic personality inventory-40 dengan hasil uji relaibilitas didapatkan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,625, dan aktualisasi diri menggunakan instrumen Short Index of Self Actualization (SISA) dengan hasil uji reliabilitas didapatkan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,898. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Kendall’s tau.Hasil: Ada hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kecenderungan narsisme (p=0,005) dan ada hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan aktualisasi diri (p=0,001).Kesimpulan: Intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang tinggi akan berpengaruh pada kecenderungan narsisme dan aktualisasi diri. Perlu adanya pengawasan dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan kesehatan untuk menghindari penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dan mengoptimalkan potensi individu agar tercapai aktualisasi diri yang optimal. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Teens try to look as attractive as possible in order to gain recognition and attractiveness. Social media offers a variety of facilities so that users feel free and happy to save various experiences. The use of excessive social media triggers the emergence of cyberbulying, in the form of degrading, pressing and violent words that endanger self-esteem. Self-esteem is a factor that is related to narcissistic tendencies and one's self-actualizationMethod: The study design was cross-sectional using simple random sampling. The independent variable is the intensity of social media use. The dependent variable is the tendency of narcissism with the results of the reliability test obtained by Cronbach's Alpha 0.625, and self-actualization with the results of the reliability test obtained by Cronbach's Alpha 0.898. The research instrument used a questionnaire and was analyzed using the Kendall's test.Result: There is a relationship between the intensity of social media use and narcissistic tendencies (p = 0.005) and there is a relationship between the intensity of social media use and self-actualization (p = 0.001).Conclusion: The high intensity of social media use will affect the tendency of narcissism and self-actualization. It is necessary to supervise and improve the quality of health education to avoid excessive use of social media and optimize individual potential to achieve optimal self-actualization.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and self-esteem, with juvenile delinquency. The population of this study were students of Nurul Jadid University with a sample of 120 aged between 19-21 years. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data collection tool in this study was a Likert scale. This study uses statistical analysis of the Spearman rho correlation. The results show that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy, self-esteem, and juvenile delinquency. There is a correlation between self-efficacy and juvenile delinquency (p=0.000), there is a correlation between self-esteem and juvenile delinquency (p=0.000). The higher the self-efficacy and self-esteem, the juvenile delinquency tends to be low or not at risk.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy dan self-esteem terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif besifat asosiatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ataupun juga hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan rumus Solvin dengan taraf signifikan 5% yaitu sebanyak 278 responden yang diambil dengan teknik pengambilan simple random sampling. Data primer yang dikumpulkan langsung dari hasil pengisian angket skala Likert terhadap 278 responden. Data sekunder berupa daftar Indeks Prestasi Sementara (IPS) yang diperoleh dari bagian adminitrasi akademik Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Cirebon. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis statistik secara parsial yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial self-efficacy terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial self-esteem terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil uji hipotesis statistik secara simultan yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan self-efficacy dan self-esteem terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa.
