Modern studies consider the memorial activity in the context of formation and development of civil society as an important factor of shaping public memory and building national, regional and local identity. The analyzes educational and commemorative practices of the departments of the All-Russian Society of Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage, the All-Union Geographical Society and the Society “Knowledge” in Altai in 1965–1991. The study bases on application of cross-disciplinary approaches of the intellectual and modern local history. The authors conclude that activities of public associations for identification, studying, registration and popularization of historical landscape objects promoted ideas about the importance of preserving the historical and architectural space of region for collective memory and identity of regional community. Ruling elites supported mainly those social initiatives for protection of monuments which were aimed to promote the values and ideals of Soviet socialism. As a result the indifferent attitude of party and state institutions to protection of archaeological objects and heritage of the pre-revolutionary era, the lack of effective tools of influence on economic organizations and administrative structures by public organizations and the formalism in the work of the Society of Protection of Heritage did not allow to develop practical measures to preserve the archaeological sites and to stop the destruction of the original historical and architectural environment of cities and villages of the region.

The territory of the study of the Right Bank Polissya in this article is extremely vivid and dotted, it is possible to outline the following main tasks: the territorial physical and geographical differentiation of the region in the context of the methodology of studying the food traditions of the Polischuk; assessment of the territory for the prospects of practical management of gastronomic tourism within the united territorial communities. In general, the Polesie region is not a zonal phenomenon, and its origin is connected with paleogeographic conditions of anthropogeny, therefore it is the physical and geographical edge of the zone of mixed forests of the East European country. The involvement of geographic science in the study of the history of food prints of the Polyschuk in the original landscapes of residence deserves detailed study. The nutrition of the Polischuk apparently bears the landscape-specific consumption of food in certain areas. Organically healthy food demonstrates the geological past and predicts a nutrition system at the present stage without paying attention to the pace of the urban food culture. Under certain circumstances and with the complication of natural conditions, the gastronomy of the Polischuk differed by simple gastronomic markers, but not coarse and not perfect processes for the preparation of autochthonous dishes. The consideration of the physical and geographical preconditions for the formation of gastronomic tourism resources in the region contributed to the popularization of the gastronomic industry in a certain retrospective period. In Ukraine, tourism was underdeveloped, until 1914, when tourism activities were carried out by the Russian Society of Tourists and the Polish Local History Society. The study of physical and geographical regionalization of the region at an angle of gastronomic tourism is almost unknown. At the time there is a rather interesting scientific issue for the territory of the Right-bank Polissya in the reflections of the feeding of the Polischuk. But a significant financial leverage for the development of the united territorial communities is to have gastronomic tours within the boundaries of their original habitats and the transfer of gastronomic practices to a wide tourist community

The monograph deals with the problem of prostitution as one of the social deviations, conducted a retrospective analysis of all aspects of this phenomenon in the period of the mid XIX – early XX centuries.Investigated the origins of legalization of prostitution in Imperial Russia, shows the mechanism of regulation, the organization of police control and sanitary supervision. The ways of self-organization of society, the conditions that contributed to the development of private and public initiatives of self-help against the danger of turning to vicious fishing are revealed. The relationship of state structures, self-government bodies and public organizations in the prevention of prostitution. Describes the experience of Russian participation in the international fight against prostitution in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a synthesis of the obtained characteristics provides a basis to believe that the formation of the social institution of prostitution is a logical and objective process related to the deviation inherent in the human community. As a social deviation, prostitution is of double importance to society. The positive side is expressed in the illegal provision of needs that are not adequately met by the institution of the family, serves as a" safe valve " for aggressive trends. The negative is manifested in facilitation of crime. In modern Russian society, sexual morality normalizes many things that have traditionally been recognized as deviant in sexual behavior. The topic is relevant for the present in terms of the presence and establishment of this phenomenon. Prostitution remains one of indeterminant crime related to her involvement in minors with drugs, crimes and harboring criminals, a robbery and robbery. The reality clearly shows the unsolved nature of this burning problem. The tasks facing the current generation to combat negative social phenomena cannot be solved without the close cooperation of the state and society in this direction, without the historical experience of predecessors, without continuity. The introduction of the new material into scientific circulation in the course of the research enables a wide range of specialists, public organizations to use the historical experience of creating constructive mechanisms of interaction between the state and society to reduce the spread of modern prostitution, to solve urgent problems.
