<p class="fullTitleAbtract"><span>Oral Presentation is one of ways to develop the speaking ability</span><span>. </span><span>This study focuses on the impact of oral presentation toward speaking ability based on the student’s point of view in EFL classroom for higher education. <span>The purpose of this study were to investigate </span>the impact of oral presentation to the development of the students ability to speak English and know the student’s difficulties in doing oral presentation in EFL classroom for higher education<span>. From the purpose of this study, the researcher formulates two research problems: </span>(1) What are the impact of oral presentation to the student’s apeaking ability? And (2) What are the factors that make the student difficult to do oral presentation? In this study, the researcher used qualitative research method for collecting data<span>. To obtain the qualitative data, the researcher gave questionnaires for 25 students in the English Department of Tidar University.</span></span></p>

Libraries have used media development as part of the culture to influence people to use the library. An example of the use of media as a means of mediation is the PerpuSeru program. Previously, this program partnered with 34 libraries, but currently, the PerpuSeru program has partnered with more than 400 libraries and reading parks in Indonesia. One of the media used in transferring information is Instagram; PerpuSeru has an Instagram account namely @perpuseru in which various information about the PerpuSeru program is available and the extent to which the program is running. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the followers’ perceptions in receiving information provided on the @ perpuseru Instagram by decoding-encoding theory, to examine the extent this theory developed in a media in the present era, and the role the theory played in the media. This study used the descriptive qualitative research method by interviewing some followers of the @perpuseru account. The result found two different views from followers, namely followers with a hegemonic dominant point of view who accepted all the content of information conveyed, and others with a negative perspective who had other considerations in receiving information on the posts of @perpuseru account. However, there were no followers with optional viewpoints. It can be concluded that the two perspectives of @perpuseru Instagram followers are the hegemonic and negative perspective.

The purpose of this research is to find out the use of Facebook as a model of a new visiting tradition in the digital era in Tunggul Bulin Village, Tabir Ilir District, Merangin District and to identify what factors influence the use of Facebook as a model of visiting tradition in the digital era. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method that is descriptive in nature. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method that is descriptive in nature. The informant selection technique used by researchers in this study is to use a purposive sampling method (sampling technique with certain considerations). The results of this study indicate that the tradition of travel gradually fades and disappears along with the development of knowledge, technology, art, and culture in the community, higher education in the community that makes the visiting tradition no longer carried out, they have sent messages, met at school, on the street, in the market, and in various places. Then also technology like media, electricity, and information also makes the tradition of travel fade and disappear, one of the biggest causes is the use of social media, especially Facebook. This is due to the use of Facebook in finding friends, getting to know from your facebook profile, communication without feeling nervous. AbstrakTujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan facebook sebagai model tradisi bertandang baru di era digital di Desa Tunggul Bulin Kecamatan Tabir Ilir Kabupaten Merangin dan untuk mengidentifikasi apa faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan facebook sebagai model tradisi bertandang di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tradisi bertandang lambat laun memudar dan menghilang seiring dengan perkembangan pengetahuan, teknologi, seni, dan budaya di tengah masyarakat, pendidikan yang tinggi di tengah masyarakat yang membuat tradisi bertandang tidak lagi dilakukan, mereka sudah berkirim pesan, bertemu di sekolah, di jalan, di pasar, dan di berbagai tempat. Kemudian juga teknologi seperti media, penerang listrik, dan informasi juga membuatkan tradisi bertandang memudar dan menghilang, salah satu penyebab terbesarnya adalah penggunaan media sosial, khususnya facebook. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan facebook dalam mencari teman, mengenal dari profil facebook, komunikasi tanpa rasa gugup.

Sharia Mini Bank Laboratory is a medium to implement Tri Dharma of College which is expected to contribute to accelerate the development of sharia in Indonesia. Therefore, empowerment of laboratory of bank mini syariah as a place to develop competence in intellectual, motor skill and skill to use Islamic banking tools for increasing the competence of graduate and sharia banking students need to be reviewed. This is a qualitative research. Method of collecting data is using deep data observation technique. Data analysis is using spradley model domain analysis. Theresults showed that the model of empowerment of Mini Sharia Bank laboratory in Higher Education has four models; they are 1) model of secondary empowerment, 2) model primary internal empowerment of student, 3) model of primary internal empowerment of student and lecturer and 4) model of primary external empowerment. This laboratory empowerment model is based on observations at four universities in Java, namely Bandung Islamic University (UNISBA), Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA), UIN Malang and UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya.Laboratorium Bank Mini Syariah merupakan sarana penunjang dan pelaksana program Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi untuk mengakselerasi perkembangan syariah di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pemberdayaan laboratorium Bank Mini Syariah sebagai tempat mengembangkan kompetensi baik dalam bidang intelektual, ketrampilan motorik dan terampil memggunakan alat-alat media perbankan syariah untuk peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa lulusan keuangan dan perbankan syariah perlu ditelaah. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan analisis domain model spradley. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pemberdayaan laboratorium Bank Mini Syariah di Perguruan Tinggi memiliki empat model yaitu 1). Model pemberdayaan sekunder, 2). Model pemberdayaan primer internal mahasiswa, 3). Model pemberdayaan primer internal mahasiswa dan dosen, dan 4). Model pemberdayaan primer eksternal. Model pemberdayaan laboratorium ini berdasarkan pengamatan pada empat perguruan tinggi di Jawa yaitu Universitas Islam Bandung, Universitas Islam Malang, UIN Malang dan UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya.

This study aims to (1) know the background of Sumpah Palapa event, (2) analyze the value and ideology of Sumpah Palapa, and (3) describe the impact of Sumpah Palapa on the Majapahit Kingdom recorded in the Pararaton Book. This study uses a qualitative research method based on the Pararaton Book which was rewritten by Hardjowadojo (1965). The results of this study are (1) the background of Sumpah Palapa (Amukti Palapa) as a manifestation of Gajah Mada's political policy to invade several regions in the archipelago in order to unite them under the reign of Majapahit, (2) the value and ideology of Sumpah Palapa in the Pararaton Book which are the similarity of the slogan of Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Sumpah Palapa, and Mitreka Satata. All of them are the spirit to unite the diversity of the archipelago in one sovereignty, (3) There are three impacts of Sumpah Palapa recorded in the Pararaton Book namely Bubat War; the cessation of Gajah Mada as Mahapatih Amangkubhumi; and the death of Princess of Sunda who was the future wife Prabu Hayam Wuruk. Overall, it can be seen that the history of Sumpah Palapa event had been recorded in the Pararaton Book and were in accordance with other historical data that become the sources of literature references in this study.

We present an implementation about mind mapping learning of part of speech on direct explanation using mind mapping to the students. This research aims to share the knowledge about learning part of speech using mind mapping and also to know the students’ comprehension ability about it. So that student can understand its function of each part of speech by using simple learning of mind mapping. This study was carried out among 20 students ofSTKIP PGRI Jombang especially in English Department. This study was descriptive and applied qualitative research method. The results show that 25% student have a very good comprehension and 50% have good comprehension20%have an enough comprehension and the last 5% are having low comprehension about part of speech (n=20). Part of speech is one of grammar factor that very important basic to understand the whole next grammar. Therefore, we need to share the explanation clearly and simple to the students who still don’t understand. In conclusion, the students’ comprehension in grammar about part of speech using mind mapping were categorized into “good comprehensive” category. However, based on these results, we have managed to put forward a number of recommendation and suggestion.

The research is to find the dominant factors influencing students` pronunciation mastery at English department of STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. This research is using qualitative research method. Total of participants are 10 English students academic year 2016/2017 in English Department of STKIP PGRI West Sumatera who are getting the best mark in pronunciation class. Sample of the research was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of the research is interview. The purpose of the interview is to get the real arguments about factor influencing students` pronunciation mastery. This research revealed that motivation is the dominant factor influencing students` pronunciation mastery. Most of the students were motivated to increase their pronunciation because they were motivated by native speakers-watching the western or English movies and songs. Besides, they also argued that they wanted to go to overseas so, they should produce the word with correctly pronounced to avoid misunderstanding for both speaker. Based on the data obtained, it can be stated that motivation is the dominant factor influencing students` pronunciation mastery in academic year 2016/2017 at English Department of STKIP PGRI West Sumatera.

The impact that occurs on learning in every school is greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Impact

This study aims to find out the application of kaizen, the impact felt by the employees in applying kaizen and the customers’ feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented to improve the after sales service of PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop. This study was conducted by using qualitative research method in analyzing the application of kaizen.The method of data collection was carried out by conducting observation and documentation. The data collection method to find out the impact that employees feel and the customers’feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented used the direct interview method with 4 employees who have applied kaizen and 5 customers who have experienced kaizen products. The results of this study indicate that the application of kaizen in PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop has run well. The impact felt by the employees is also good, the employees become more satisfied at work. The feedback given by the customers for kaizenthat has been conducted is very good. Kaizen makes the customers more comfortable and satisfied with the services provided to themselves and their vehicles.
