Elements of eggplant cultivation technology in protected ground

Цель работы – обоснование элементов технологии выращивания баклажана в пленочных необогреваемых грунтовых теплицах. Исследования по тематике актуальны, поскольку способствуют увеличению площадей возделывания культуры, а также повышению урожайности и товарности продукции, что определяет экономическую эффективность производства. Научные исследования проводили в 2020–2021 годах на территории Учебно-научного производственного центра садоводства и овощеводства имени В. И. Эдельштейна ФГБОУ ВО РГАУ – МСХА имени К.А. Тимирязева. Опыт по изучению влияния нормирования числа цветков в рудиментарных соцветиях на раннюю и общую урожайность и качество плодов баклажана был заложен при формировании гибридов в три стебля. Опыт двухфакторный: фактор А – нормирование (вариант I – без нормирования (контроль), вариант II – нормирование на один цветок, вариант III – нормирование на два цветка). Фактор В – генотип гибридов (F1 Боровичок, F1Багира, F1 Нежнейший, F1 Патио Трио, F1Пеликан). Опыт закладывали в четырехкратной повторности, площадь учетной делянки – 7,6 м2. Исследования проводили в условиях летне-осеннего оборота в пленочной необогреваемой грунтовой теплице в соответствии с общепринятыми методиками для овощных культур в защищенном грунте. Рассаду выращивали в рассадном отделении многорядной теплицы серии Ришель 9.6 SR. Семена высевали 14–15 марта в кассеты с размером ячейки 5×5×5 см и объемом 125 см3. В качестве субстрата использовали верховой торф. Подкормки проводили комплексным удобрением Yara Kristalon 18.18.18+3 с интервалом в 5 суток: первую подкормку провели через 10 суток после высадки рассады. При выявлении единичных очагов заражения проводили обработку против грибных заболеваний препаратами Ридомил МЦ Голд, ВДГ и Квадрис, КС. По итогам изучения влияния нормирования числа цветков в рудиментарных соцветиях на раннюю и общую урожайность и качество плодов у исследуемых гибридов баклажана выявлено, что в вариантах опыта с нормированием на 1 цветок сформировалось наибольшее количество товарных плодов (87,6%). Выявленная зависимость носила сортоспецифический характер. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the elements of eggplant growing technology in film unheated ground greenhouses. Research on the subject is relevant because it contributes to an increase in the area of cultivation of crops, as well as an increase in yield and marketability of products, which determines the economic efficiency of production. Scientific research was carried out in 2020–2021 on the territory of the V.I. Edelstein Educational and Scientific Production Center for Horticulture and Vegetable Growing of the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. The experience of studying the effect of rationing the number of flowers in rudimentary inflorescences on the early and overall yield and quality of eggplant fruits was laid during the formation of hybrids in three stems. The experience is two-factor: factor A – rationing (option I – without rationing (control), option II – rationing for one flower, option III – rationing for two flowers). Factor B is the genotype of hybrids (F1Borovichok, F1 Bagira, F1 Nezhneishii, F1Patio Trio, F1 Pelikan). The experiment was laid in fourfold repetition, the area of the accounting plot was 7.6 m2. The studies were carried out in the conditions of summer-autumn turnover in a film unheated ground greenhouse in accordance with generally accepted methods for vegetable crops in protected soil. Seedlings were grown in the seedling compartment of a multi-row greenhouse of the Richel 9.6 SR series. The seeds were sown on March 14–15 in cassettes with a cell size of 5×5×5 cm and a volume of 125 cm3. Riding peat was used as a substrate. Top dressing was carried out with a complex fertilizer Yara Kristalon 18.18.18+3 with an interval of 5 days: the first top dressing was carried out – 10 days after planting seedlings. When single foci of infection were detected, treatment against fungal diseases was carried out with Ridomil MC Gold, VDG and Quadris, CS. Based on the results of studying the effect of rationing the number of flowers in rudimentary inflorescences on the early and overall yield and quality of eggplant fruits in the studied eggplant hybrids, it was revealed that in the variants of the experiment with rationing for 1 flower, the largest number of commercial fruits was formed (87.6%). The revealed dependence was of a variety-specific nature.

Для обеспечения населения РФ качественной, полезной и экологически безопасной овощной продукцией в требуемом количестве необходимо изучение потенциальной продуктивности новых сортов и гибридов овощных культур, применение современных элементов технологии и продуктов в области агротехнологий выращивания. Хороший вкус, высокое содержание ценных для человека витаминов, микроэлементов и органических кислот вывело сладкий перец в ранг наиболее популярных овощных культур. В мире выведено и культивируется огромное количество сортов сладкого перца. В нашей стране наиболее распространенным сортотипом является перец сладкий (Capsicum annuum), или болгарский. На обыкновенных черноземах Бирючекутской селекционной опытной станции (Новочеркасский район Ростовской области), имеющих слабощелочную реакцию среды, мощный гумусовый горизонт, среднюю обеспеченность подвижным фосфором и высокую обменным калием, в 2017–2018 годах была исследована потенциальная продуктивность перца сладкого гибрида Темп при высоком уровне обеспеченности растений влагой и питательными элементами. Оценено комплексное действие основного внесения расчетных доз минеральных удобрений, капельного орошения, трехкратной подкормки водорастворимыми удобрениями «Мастер» и органоминеральным наноудобрением «Арксойл» на урожайность и качество перца сладкого. Выяснено, что основное удобрение и подкормки влияют, в первую очередь, на число плодов на одном растении, увеличивая их в 2–3,3 раза при незначительном повышении массы плода. Установлено, что без применения минеральных удобрений при капельном поливе было получено 25–27 т/га плодов. Использование рекомендованной дозы удобрений N120P120K120 увеличило урожайность перца до 50,5 т/га, а комплексное применение основного удобрения с 3-кратной корневой подкормкой водорастворимым удобрением «Мастер» позволило получить урожайность перца до 64,8 т/га. Наиболее высокая продуктивность растений была получена при комплексном использовании расчетной дозы на урожайность 90 т/га в сочетании с корневой подкормкой – 86,8 т/га при хорошем качестве плодов перца. To provide the population of the Russian Federation with high-quality, healthy and environmentally friendly vegetable products in the required amount, it is necessary to study the potential productivity of new varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops, use modern elements of technology and products in the field of agricultural technologies. Good taste, high content of vitamins, microelements and organic acids valuable for humans have made sweet peppers one of the most popular vegetable crops. A huge number of varieties of sweet peppers have been bred and cultivated in the world. In our country, the most common cultivar type is bell pepper (Capsicum annuum) or Bulgarian. On ordinary chernozems of the Biryuchekutskaya selection experimental station (Novocherkassk district of the Rostov region), which have a weakly alkaline reaction of the environment, a powerful humus horizon, an average supply of mobile phosphorus and high exchangeable potassium, in 2017-2018, the potential productivity of sweet pepper the level of supply of plants with moisture and nutrients. The complex effect of the main application of the calculated doses of mineral fertilizers, drip irrigation, 3-fold top dressing with water-soluble fertilizers Master and organomineral nanofertilizers Arxoil on the yield and quality of bell peppers was evaluated. It was found that the main fertilization and feeding affect, first of all, the number of fruits per 1 plant, increasing them by 2-3.3 times with a slight increase in the weight of the fruit. It was found that without the use of mineral fertilizers with drip irrigation, 25-27 t/ha of fruits were obtained. The use of the recommended dose of fertilizers N120P120K120increased the yield of pepper to 50.5 t/ha, and the complex application of the main fertilizer with 3-fold root feeding with the water-soluble fertilizer Master allowed to obtain the yield of pepper up to 64.8 t/ha. The highest plant productivity was obtained with the integrated use of a calculated dose for a yield of 90 t / ha in combination with root feeding - 86.8 t/ha with good quality pepper fruits.

Abstract. The purpose of the research was to study the effect of fertilizer rates depending on drainage and weather conditions on the yield and quality of potatoes, their payback with an increase in yield. Methodology and methods of research. The studies were conducted in a two-factor field experiment in 2012–2020, factor A – drainage (drained by closed potter drainage and non-drained soil), factor B – various fertilizer rates (without fertilizers; multi-purpose compost (KMN) 10 t/ha + K90; KMN 10 t/ha + N70K180). The soil of experimental plot of sod-podzolic light loamy are predominant, well-cultivated. Potatoes were cultivated according to the ridge technology developed at VNIIMZ, the predecessor of winter grain crops. According to weather conditions, the years of research are divided into excessively humid, humid and arid. Analyses and observations were carried out according to the generally accepted methods of experimental work, calculations using statistical analysis. Results. The tendencies of changes in the indicators of the water-air regime of the arable layer of soil (moisture, total porosity, porosity of aeration, bulk density) depending on drainage and weather conditions were revealed. The influence of fertilizer rates on drained and non-drained areas, depending on weather conditions, on the content of mineral nitrogen in the soil, yield and its structure, the quality of potato production (content of nitrates, starch in tubers), the use of photosynthetically active solar radiation, payback of fertilizers by an increase in yield has been established. The share of the influence of fertilizers and drainage on the variability of the yield in different weather conditions has been determined. Scientific novelty. The share of the participation of the studied factors in the variability of the potato yield and the rational rates of the use of fertilizers, depending on soil and weather conditions, have been established.

Relevance. The most important influence on the yield, the timing of growing vegetables in greenhouses and the cost of the resulting crop, in addition to the arrival of solar radiation, is exerted by the presence of a system of artificial lighting in greenhouses and its capacity.It is no exaggeration to say that today artificial lighting in greenhouses is more effective than natural lighting. So, to obtain one kilogram of vegetables using artificial lighting, it is necessary to spend 4.5-5.0 thousand J/cm2, and in the case of natural lighting: 5.0-6.5 thousand J/cm2. This is due to the fact that when using artificial lighting in the greenhouse, we create the most comfortable growing conditions for the plants. Of course, every culture, every hybrid requires its own illumination parameters, so you should not try to formulate what the ideal artificial lighting will be. Proper lighting means getting the maximum yield from your crops at the lowest cost. An increase in the productivity of plants when grown under photoculture conditions occurs not only due to an increase in the lighting power per unit area of greenhouses, but also due to correctly selected hybrids. The cultivated hybrid is one of the most important criteria for both increasing its productivity and improving the quality of the fruit. But not all tomato hybrids recommended by breeding companies for growing under artificial lighting are ideal for such conditions.Methods. The methods used in agronomic science were used. The information base of the research was made up of reference materials from specialized publications on the subject under study (catalogs of breeding companies); materials received from participants in the greenhouse vegetable market (breeding companies, greenhouse plants); own research, articles and reviews in specialized journals.Results. Correctly selected tomato hybrids provide a significant increase in productivity in greenhouses, an improvement in fruit quality and a balanced cultivation technology under these conditions. An assortment of recommended tomato hybrids for growing in photoculture conditions is presented, an analysis of their advantages and disadvantages is made, and the main requirements for hybrids for these conditions are formulated.

The practice of manufacturers using substances that stimulate the growth and development of plants, increase their resistance to external influences, and as a result increase the yield and quality of grain, has become a common practice in field cultivation technology. A wide variety of their production requires careful study and detailed application in agricultural practice. In the process of studying the variety of spring soft wheat after treatment with the studied organo-mineral mixtures (OMM) of the B-plus line, PRK «White Pearl» increases the vegetative mass and productivity, and improves the technological qualities of grain. The article presents data on the processing of seeds and plants of ОMM on the formation of the yield of varieties of spring soft wheat Astana and Karaganda 30. Studies have shown that the varietal reaction of soft wheat showed different responsiveness to treatment with drugs. Thus, grain yield was obtained from the use of the B-plus line of PRK «White Pearl» - Astana varieties 27.87 c/ ha, Karaganda varieties 30 - 32.16 c / ha (increase + 6.3; 8.75 c / ha in comparison with the control) with an increase in the amount of gluten by 0.1-2.2% and its quality.

<p>O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a influência da aplicação de boro em diferentes épocas no rendimento e na qualidade de sementes de trigo. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial A X B, sendo o fator A: cultivares FUNDACEP Horizonte e BRS Campeiro, e fator B: época de aplicação, (Sem aplicação de boro, aplicação na semeadura, no perfilhamento, na floração e 15 dias após floração). A dose de boro aplicada, via solo, em todas as épocas foi de 10 kg ha<sup>-1</sup> na forma de tetraborato de sódio (boráx). Após a colheita, avaliaram-se número de espigas, número de sementes por planta, rendimento de sementes por planta, peso hectolítrico e peso de mil sementes. A qualidade fisiológica das sementes produzidas foi avaliada por testes de vigor e de germinação. A adubação de trigo com 10 kg ha<sup>-1 </sup>de boro na forma de bórax nas diferentes épocas de aplicação, não prejudica rendimento, germinação e vigor das sementes das cultivares de trigo FUNDACEP Horizonte e BRS Campeiro. O peso volumétrico das sementes só teve redução na aplicação no perfilhamento para a cultivar FUNDACEP Horizonte e na floração para a cultivar BRS Campeiro.</p><p align="center"><strong><em>Boron supplementation at different times: Effect on yield and quality of wheat seeds</em></strong></p><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of boron application at different times on the yield and seeds quality of wheat. The experimental design was a completely randomized factorial AXB, with factor A: FUNDACEP Horizonte and BRS Campeiro cultivars, and factor B: application time, (No application of boron, application at sowing, tillering, flowering and 15 days after flowering). The boron dose into the soil at all times was 10 kg ha-1 in the form of sodium tetraborate (borax). After harvest, were evaluated number of ears, number of seeds per plant, seed yield per plant, hectoliter weight and thousand seed weight. The physiological quality of seeds produced was assessed through the vigor tests and germination test. Fertilizing wheat with 10 kg ha-1 of boron as borax at different times of application, without prejudice yield, germination and vigor of wheat FUNDACEP Horizonte and BRS Campeiro cultivars. The hectolitre weight of the seeds was reduced only in the application at tillering to FUNDACEP Horizonte cultivar and flowering for BRS Campeiro cultivar.</p><p><strong> </strong></p>

Abstract Onion is an important crop with significant roles in human diets. The growth, yield, and quality of vegetable crops, including onions, are more vulnerable to water stress than other crops. In this study, different levels of deficit irrigation (DI) as factor A (a1: 80%, a2: 70%, and a3: 60% of soil field capacity [FC]) and humic acid (HA) as factor B (b1: without and b2: with HA application) were evaluated on onion growth characteristics in a factorial design with four replications. The results showed that the interaction of DI and HA was significant on leaf protein, peroxidase (POD), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and on bulb protein and potassium (K) concentrations. The highest record of these traits was observed in a3b2 (highest DI with HA application), and their lowest was in those at first level of DI (a1). Leaf protein and, to a lesser extent, bulb protein were increased by DI and HA applications. DI at 60% but not at 70% FC significantly reduced bulb fresh weight. There was a gradual increase in leaf proline, soluble sugars, protein, catalase (CAT), POD, SOD activity, and bulb K by application of DI; however, most of bulb traits including protein, iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and CAT and POD activity were increased only under highest DI level (a3: 60% FC). However, application of HA further increased the soluble sugars and protein concentration as well as the POD and SOD activities of leaves, and protein, Fe, K concentrations, and CAT activity of bulbs under DI. The results indicated that HA benefitted onion growth particularly under DI conditions.
