Overfishing has been being the major problem for Leptobarbus melanopterus population in Danau Sentarum National Park. This activity was feared could affect the declining of L. melanopterus population in the future. This research aims to determine growth pattern of L. melanopterus through length-weight relationship and relative weight analysis. The total of 64 fishes were collected which consisted of 32 males and 32 females. The range of male total length was 146-248 mm with weight was 40-170 gram, whereas total length female was ranging 141-299 mm with weight was 40-350 gram. Based on the regression analysis of length-weight data, the b value of male and female were estimated 2,46 and 2,81 respectively. Moreover, the b value of all samples without distinguishing sex type was 2,69 with relative weight was 101,33. The results of this research confirms that either females or males has negative allometric growth pattern.

Burnout is considered an occupational health concern. The burnout–depression overlap is an important area of research as the foundations of burnout and its diagnostic value have come under increasing scrutiny, calling for burnout to not be classified as an independent disorder but rather as a subtype of depression. Furthermore, as burnout is defined as a work-specific syndrome, workplace factors have been argued to be the major indicators of burnout. Recent research however, calls this into question. This study seeks to establish the overlap between burnout and depressive symptoms and to determine if burnout is in fact a multi-domain phenomenon. A cross-sectional research design was used, a convenience sample of educators from the Gauteng province of South Africa was collected ( N = 399). Confirmatory factor analysis was applied in a structural equation modelling framework. Discriminant validity analysis was conducted by investigating the average variance extracted and the shared variance between constructs. Finally, relative weight analysis was conducted to ascertain the unique contribution explained by the work-specific and general life domain factors. Results showed that burnout could be distinguished from depressive symptoms. Job demands, depressive symptoms, and satisfaction with life all explained significant amounts of variance in the burnout construct. Relative weight analysis revealed that emotional load and depressive symptoms explained equal amounts of variance in burnout, but that the aggregated work-specific factors explained the most variance in burnout. This study indicates that burnout is a multi-domain phenomenon and not isolated to the domain of work. Further research is needed in this regard.

Banking sector is the backbone of any economy, so it is necessary to focus on its performance which is largely affected by its non-performing assets (NPAs). In the year 2018–2019, NPA of scheduled banks was Rs 355,076 Crore which is 3.7% of net advances. The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants based on analysis from previous literatures, and majorly macroeconomic and bank specific factors which are affecting NPAs using the relative weight analysis and to frame a model to predict future NPAs using multiple regression model using SPSS. The study also attempts to focus on actions and remedies that banks should make to control future NPAs. Findings of the study will act as a scaffolding for financial analysts and policymakers to prevent the conversion of its performing assets into NPAs and also help in proper management of banks and also in the recovery of economy.

Abstract The objective of the present study was to examine the growth pattern and condition factors of the naleh fish, Barbonymus gonionotus Bleeker, 1849 in Nagan River, Nagan Raya District, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The sampling was conducted for 12 months from January 2016 to December 2016 using the explorative survey method. The sampling locations were determined based on the information given by local fishermen. A total of 761 fish samples were collected during the study. The Linear Allometric Model (LAM), Fulton’s and Relative Weight conditions factors were utilized to analyze the length-weight relationship and condition factor of the fish using growth parameters. The results showed that the highest coefficient of b was recorded in December, where the b value of males were 3.82 and 4.23 for the females with the average b value of males and females were 2.92 indicating an isometric growth pattern. The average Fulton’s condition factor (K) was 2.28 and the average Relative weight (Wr) condition factor was 100.59. It is concluded that fish had the isometric growth pattern and based on K and Wr value, the result implies that the waters are still in a good condition. Furthermore, the availability of food sources, low competitors, and low predators indicate that the aquatic environment is in a stable condition.

This study was carried out to evaluate the length-weight relationship, growth pattern and condition factor of the Silver catfish Chrysichthys nigrodigitatus from the Lower River Benue Makurdi, Nigeria. A total of 200 freshly caught specimens of C. nigrodigitatus were collected between July 2013 and September 2013 from the catches of the artisanal fisheries at landing points in Wadata Market, Makurdi. Results obtained showed that the “b” value for the males was 1.6067 while that of the females was 1.6791 and combined sexes 1.7371, indicating a negative allometric growth for this species. Correlation coefficient (r) obtained for males (0.9651), 0.9517 (females) and 0.9329 (pooled sexes) showed a positive significant relationship between length and weight of C. nigrodigitatus. Monthly mean condition factor (K), indicate that C. nigrodigitatus were in good physiological health condition. In conclusion, the baseline data on the length-weight relationship, condition factor of C. nigrodigitatus from the lower River Benue provided in this study is crucial in the sustainable management of this species in the River. Also, these findings will be useful in evaluating the population dynamics, stock and the aquaculture potential of C. nigrodigitatus for future purpose.

Present paper attempts to describe length-weight (LW) and total length-standard length (TL and SL) relationships of fresh-water garfi sh Xenentodon cancila. Fish of different length and weight were caught using cast nets from Muriyadhar, Sunsari. The fish were kept in ice box in fresh condition and brought to fi sh laboratory, Department of Zoolog post Graduate Campus, Biratnagar. The data obtained from measurement were analysed using the formula W = aLb. The b values estimated for the total length and standard length in relation to body weight were 3.2202 and 3.2559 respectively. The holistic approach to education – that addresses students’ learning, social and emotional, and spiritual needs – is crucial, especially in times of crisis. University closures related to the current COVID-19 pandemic mean that students from diverse backgrounds who are more at risk of increased vulnerability are less likely to receive the support and extra services they need, and the gap between students that experience additional barriers and that do not might widen. The current study investigates the influence of religiosity and Emotional Intelligent on the attitude towards leadership in education during pandemic covid-19 in the Malaysian context. Data were collected from undergraduate students who constitute future leaders. Results from the regression analysis particularly the relative weight analysis revealed that leadership practices demonstrated significant incremental variance with attitude towards leadership beyond self-leadership. The implications of the findings for research and practice are discussed.

AbstractThe objective of the present study was to examine the length-weight relationships and condition factors of snapperLutjanus russellii, ponyfishAurigequula fasciataand white-spotted spinefootSiganus canaliculatusharvested from Ulelhee Bay, Banda Aceh City, Indonesia. These species are the predominant fishes caught by traditional beach trawl in Ulelhee Bay, Banda Aceh City, Indonesia. The sampling was conducted for three months from April to June 2015 at one-week interval. A total of 900 fish samples (300 individuals for each species) were measured for the total length and body weight. The length-weight relationships were calculated using Linear Allometric Model (LAM), while the relative weights (Wr) and Fulton’s condition (K) factors were calculated to assess the condition of the fish samples. The results showed that thebvalue of 3.04 in snapper indicates isometric growth pattern, while ponyfish and white-spotted spinefoot fish had the b values of 1.41 and 1.75, respectively, and these species display an allometric growth pattern. The average Fulton’s condition factor (K) of snapper was 3.01 for male and 2.49 for female; female ponyfish has the K value of 2.92 and 2.92 for male. In addition, the average K value of white-spotted spinefoot was 2.61 and 2.59 for female and male, respectively. The relative weight condition factor ranges from 58.73 to 166.09 for snapper, from 70.55 to 129.65 for ponyfish, and from 71.63 to 133.53 for white-spotted spinefoot. In general, the relative weight condition factors tendedto be 100. It is concluded that snapper has isometric growth pattern, while ponyfish and white-spotted spinefoot display the negative allometric growth pattern. The condition factors are in excellent condition and indicate a balance of prey and predator.
