Abstract:  In  order  to continually meet the growing material and cultural needs of the people, leads to increasing scale in construction, to a certain extent, has accelerated the pace of urban construction in China,but also exposed many shortcomings. For example,the energy consumption of the construction industry is too large, it is pernicious to the sustainable development of modern society in China, and the substance of green building is use of energy-saving harmless resources to build a comfortable and healthy living environment,to ensure the quality of living environment and reduce the threat to health of human. With the strength of economic benefits,energy conservation and other advantages, making a major contributions to the economic environment. Therefore, this research will study from the relevant requirements of green building design,in-depth discussion of green building design techniques as a reference for the industry practitioners.

With the deterioration in living environment and development in spiritual civilization, green building has been promoted and applied. Facing with the gradually increasing quality of life, public have made many demands on the living environment and indoor environment has been paid more and more attention. The authors raise a question of the necessity of urgent introduction of the principles of green building design into the practice. It is emphasized that such a necessity is dictated by the dangerous degradation processes occurring in the biosphere and society. In the given report the questions of social purpose and function of architectural activity are raised, as well as of the development of the sociology of architecture as an essential field of scientific research for providing the quality of design solutions.Green building technologies are widely spread in Europe, USA and in the Korea, China. Green building and sustainable building technologies have converted into a regular construction and building operation practice, whose mission is to reduce consumption of power and other material resources and to preserve or improve the quality of buildings and their comfort. The most reputable green building standards include LEED in the USA and BREAM in Great Britain. A discussion of local green standards, that will take account of the climate, landscape, and the lifestyle of residents, is underway in Russia. Principles of the ecologically sustainable design are being introduced into the architectural practice.

With the rapid development of urbanization in China, people’s requirements for the quality of life and environment are constantly improving. However, the shortage of resources and the deterioration of environment are becoming more and more serious. Environmental protection has become the only way for the sustainable development of society. Therefore, the application of more and more new green building materials has become the key to the sustainable development of the construction industry. In the face of the rapid development of modern construction industry, engineering quality and functional requirements have become the basic requirements, the green environmental protection has become a higher requirement. The application of green environmental protection building materials in engineering construction is the main development direction of the transformation of modern construction industry. At the same time, it conforms to the policy of environmentally sustainable development of all sectors of society, and promotes the construction industry to meet the higher requirements of green environmental protection living environment. This paper studied the performance and waterproof mechanism of a kind of high polymer (HDPE) self-adhered waterproofing membrane and its application in construction. Compared with the traditional waterproofing membrane, the high polymer self-adhered waterproofing membrane can give full play to the advantages of environmental protection on the premise of meeting the building quality.

Since it proposed the building of a new socialist countryside by the "Eleventh Five-Year", the new rural green building design and research has been the problem construction industry discusses and faces. Background: Development of green building as future buildings has become a trend and played a significant role in changing the general direction of building development and creating an environment for sustainable development ’People-centric’ explores the relationship between people and building development. From the perspective of users, what are the influencing factors of green building? What is the relationship between independent variables? The authors link this issue to the development of green building and gaining a clearer understanding and direction. Methods: The authors applied grounded theory and intensity sampling to analyse the relationships of independent variables. Results: The findings of this study reveal the four core factors affecting how independent variables get to learn about green building, which are ‘personal perception elements’, ‘social elements’, ‘organisational elements’, and ‘architectural properties’. Conclusions: The authors also analysed the relationships between the independent variables to explore construction theory for helping green building better respond to people’s demand and pushing forward its development. In this case, the ’people-centric’ green building further improves the urban living environment.

With the accelerating urbanization process and the development of the construction industry, the role of green building design in architectural design is constantly reflected. The comprehensive implementation of green building is an important measure to promote China's energy-saving emission reduction and low-carbon city strategy. However, there are relatively few cases in which green building design is applied to super high-rise civil buildings, and in-depth research and data analysis must be carried out. The design points in green super high-rise civil buildings in Huangshan area were briefly summarized, and the actual cases of a green super high-rise civil building design in Huangshan City were analyzed, which is conducive to laying the foundation for the application of green building design to super high-rise civil buildings.

Sustainable development has gained an increasing importance in the past thirty years.
