Abstract:Diamond-oil tester utilizes information fusion technology to test the oil product interfaces during refined oil batch pipelining based on vibration frequency range of the oil product, electromagnetic absorption and difference and integration of capacitance dielectric constants to conduct overall analysis. By processing signals and combining Kalman filter principle, the tester can realize the interface testing and distinguish for different refined oil products. During the batch pipelining of various refined oil products, by equipping with Diamond-oil testers in the oil product receiving and distributing station, interfaces of different oil products can thus be effectively tested for accurate separation of oil products and ensuring the minimum level of mixed oil. Practices have proved excellent practical results in oil products batch pipelining.

The global energy mix is shifting from fossil fuels to combinations of multiple energy storage and generation types. Hybrid energy system advancements provide opportunities for developing and deploying innovative green technology solutions that can further reduce emissions and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This study examined the impact of an increasing share of wind and solar electricity production on reducing carbon intensity by controlling coal and lignite domestic consumption and the production of refined oil products in a world aggregated data panel. Data covering the last three decades were used for the analysis by the ARDL bounds testing approach. The results showed that an increasing share of wind and solar electricity production would be helpful to decrease carbon intensity in the short and long term. On the other hand, a 1% increase in coal and domestic lignite consumption increased carbon intensity by 0.343% in the short run and 0.174% in the long run. The production of refined oil products decreases carbon intensity by 0.510% in the short run and 0.700% in the long run. However, refining oil products is associated with positive and negative environmental externalities. The positive aspect depends upon the removal of harmful pollutants and the production of cleaner-burning fuels, while the negative part is related to the operational side of refineries and processing plants that may release contaminants into the atmosphere, affecting global air and water quality. Hence, it is crucial to improve processing and refining capacity to produce better-refined oil products by using renewable fuels in energy production. It is proposed that these are the most cost-effective pathways to achieve industrial decarbonization.

Significance The oil sector is bouncing back after the lifting of international sanctions. Production has risen from an average of 2.8 million bpd during 2015, and is now approaching pre-sanctions levels. The country has finalised new-style petroleum contracts offering more favourable terms to international investors. Impacts Banking, compliance and sanctions issues will gradually ease, reducing pressure on the oil sector. A stable production outlook will facilitate efforts to agree an OPEC production freeze. Oil revenue in 2016 could reach 31.5 billion dollars, 75% up on 2015, easing the fiscal situation. Exports of petrochemicals and refined oil products will rise, on the back of higher oil output and market opening.

Abstract Our work aims to present the first debates on the topic of building pipelines for the transport of Romanian oil products. The debut consisted in the report that Anghel Saligny made in 1899. The pipeline system he proposed should have started in the centre of the oil region, i.e. from Băicoi, followed the trail railway Ploieşti, Buzău, Făurei, Feteşti, Cernavodă and reached the sea port of Constanţa. In 1907, engineer L. C. Erbiceanu joined the enterprise. The law was passed by the parliament in 1912. Works began the following year but they were interrupted because of the outburst of the First World War. After a partial use during the war, oil pipelines were completed in 1919.

Significance The oil shipments were part of a five-year deal that Saudi would provide Egypt with 700,000 tonnes of refined oil products per month, but these were stopped in early October amid a row over Egypt's position towards Syria. Relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt have served as a bedrock of stability in the Middle East for much of the period since the second Gulf War (1990-91), but this subset of the regional order now appears in jeopardy. Impacts If Riyadh withholds investments or future assistance, the Egyptian economy may deteriorate even further. Should Egypt's economic crisis deepen, its political stability outlook would look uncertain at best and unsustainable at worst. This crisis compounds the Kingdom's recent regional setbacks, as the Syrian and Yemeni wars slide towards unfavourable outcomes for Riyadh.

In this paper, an in-depth study on the quantification of influencing factors and big data visualization of key monitoring indicators in the refined oil products market is carried out through fuzzy mathematical methods, and a system for quantifying influencing factors and big data visualization of key monitoring indicators in the refined oil products market with the fuzzy mathematical background is designed and implemented. The system realizes the functions of flow visualization, attack visualization, target tracking visualization, etc., and optimizes the system from the perspectives of performance and visualization effect. It achieves the display and interaction of multi-dimensional data in space and time with multiple views, angles, and dimensions. Data tagging and data correlation for key aspects of the product production process are realized through fuzzy mathematics and other means, and a quality traceability system for the manufacturing industry is realized on this basis, through which the data of some key stages of the product production process can be displayed retrospectively. The study proves that the business model of refined oil logistics platform based on value network can significantly improve the user’s perceived value and benefit all parties within the value network, realizing the complementary advantages of refined oil production enterprises and logistics platform companies, improving the efficiency of enterprise’s logistics and maximizing the profit of each subject within the value network to achieve profitability for all parties.

Based on the analysis of the composition of gas-liquid flows of various pipelines (trunk, field and gathering gas pipelines, oil pipelines, heat pipelines, water pipelines), it is established that diverse harmful impurities are contained in the interior of almost all operated metal pipelines, regardless of the purpose of pipelines use. In most cases, pipelines contain a complex multicomponent mixture of harmful impurities of various origins: gas conden-sate, water, machine oil, products of in-line corrosion, rock particles removed from the well, incrustation exfoliat-ed from the pipes, paraffins, various mineral salts, sludge deposits, sand, soil, biofilm, etc. The types and properties of distinctive harmful impurities positioned in the interior of various metal pipelines are described; the reasons for their presence in pipeline gas-liquid flows are determined. Depending on the purpose of the pipeline, harmful im-purities can be accumulated in its interior, be sedimentated on the internal walls or move in the flow of the trans-ported product. The parameters influencing significantly the accumulation in the interior of various pipelines and the sedimentation of various harmful impurities on the inner walls of pipelines are considered. Possible locations of their accumulation or sedimentation are presented. The analysis of the negative consequences that occur in the case of accumulation or sedimentation of harmful impurities in the interior of the pipelines, their movement along the pipeline and collision with the wall of shaped elements (bends, T-bends, adapters, etc.) is made. The author presents the main criteria according to which the hydraulic condition of pipelines polluted with harmful impuri-ties is evaluated, and on which energy requirements of transportation depend.

Significance Belarus's emergence from recession this year is a consequence of reliance on the Russian economy and on refined oil prices in Europe, just as the contraction of 2015-16 was. The country imports cheap Russian crude, refines it and sells it at market prices to Europe. Impacts Healthier trade with Russia may undermine recent steps toward closer political cooperation with Europe. Ukraine was an important destination of manufactured exports during Russia's recession, but that trend is receding. If an ongoing diplomatic row extends into a trade war, Ukraine will lose more in economic terms than Belarus.
