The article presents the test results of a cotton cleanerwith a vertical arrangement of sections for cleaning from fine litter. В статье предлагается при оснащении птицеводческих хозяйств осветительными приборами использовать преимущественно энергосберегающие лампы. Также внимание следует уделить режимам освещения, спектру света, оптимизация которых также поможет сэкономить энергетические ресурсы. The article is devoted to the importance of energy saving in lighting systems in poultry farms. The article proposes to use mainly energy-saving lamps when equipping poultry farms with lighting devices. Also, attention should be paid to lighting modes, the spectrum of light, the optimization of which will also help save energy resources.

This article discusses the measures for efficient use of fuel and energy resources in the railway industry. The calculation of the initial moment of starting the diesel engine and the necessary position of its crankshaft is made, on the basis of which it is proposed to modernize the locomotive start-up system with a decompressor. These measures are aimed at reducing the dynamic loads of engine components and reducing their wear and tear, as well as failure preventing. A method for the clean-up of fuel systems and the cylinder-piston diesel engine group of diesel locomotives was developed and tested using a special cleaning liquid that dissolves and removes solidified particles from pipelines and tanks. Measures have been proposed on the use of advanced models to test the modernized locomotives that will reduce the duration of the tests, resource and economic costs. The use of advanced testing model involves choosing the level of accuracy of the test results and, consequently, their duration and cost.

To solve the contradiction between achieving long-term economic growth and reducing the consumption of certain types of resources, the concept of sustainable resource saving economic development must be put into practice. The purpose of this research is to establish criteria, develop indicators, and identify factors of the sustainable energy-saving economic development, as well as to test the developed theoretical provisions using the example of natural gas consumption by different countries. To achieve this goal, various methods were used, including economic and mathematical modeling, time series analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis, and so on. The criteria were formalized, according to which a certain type of economic development can be attributed to energy saving both at the level of the state economy as a whole and at the level of individual industries and enterprises. It was established that the formalized criteria of the sustainable energy-saving economic development have the form of chains of inequalities, and their application makes it possible to identify the general conditions for ensuring this type of development. The main properties of energy-saving economic development were identified. They include the pace of this development, its potential, balance, permanence, and other characteristics. Indicators that can be used to quantify these characteristics were developed. The factors influencing the scale and time characteristics of sustainable energy-saving economic development at the level of the state economy and that of industries and individual enterprises, were systematized. The dynamics of natural gas consumption in different countries was analyzed. The reasons for the lack of energy-saving natural gas economic development in some countries were identified. A quantitative assessment of the properties of this type of economic development by country was conducted. The influence of some factors on the parameters of the sustainable energy-saving natural gas economic development of countries was analyzed. The existence of a negative effect of the rebound in the consumption of natural gas was established at certain intervals in some countries. The obtained results provide an opportunity to increase the degree of understanding of the complex patterns that underlie the sustainable energy-saving economic development of states, industries, and enterprises. These results can also be used in the development of government programs to stimulate energy conservation.

With the development of energy-saving in buildings, new energy-saving block masonry with multi-row cores is commonly used. In this paper, from the study of typical bearing capacity of multi hole concrete block masonry of combining multiple rows of holes, holes in the multi block wall masonry capacity test of heat insulation material characteristics. Test results show that, in the process of multi hole masonry brittle failure characteristics, built-in straw block in the insulation at the same time, can improve the compressive strength of masonry; masonry local diffusion mechanism under the action of stress is significant; and offer the engineering measures.

The basic ways of energy-saving methods of the basic soil cultivation in Central Chernozem Region are suggested. Reducing the depth of primary tillage, replacement of moldboard plowing for subsurface soil loosening, combination of several operations and methods in one working process by the use of combined units and wide-coverage units and module-block complexes, the use of "gentle" tillage technologies: lane, zero and others.

Power industry is the key field of implementing energy saving and pollutant emission reduction in china, strengthen power energy saving is helpful to establish a resource-saving and environment-friendly society and promote a sustainable development of economic society. This paper synchronizes respective advantages of rough set and neural network, puts forward a prediction model-RSBPNN which uses rough set knowledge reduction method to prune the redundant and neural network to build a forecasting model.

In today's conditions of development, maximization of profitability and ensuring technological safety of metallurgical production, the tasks of developing resource-saving technological modes of steel smelting are urgent. The fulfilment of the condition for the simultaneous achievement of the desired chemical composition and temperature of the metal is ensured by controlling the oxygen consumption and the position of the oxygen impeller lance, therefore solving the problem of managing the blasting of the converter bath is the main task. The mathematical modelling of the bath purge during steel smelting for energy-saving technology is executed. The method for solving Model Predictive Control with quadratic functionality in the presence of constraints is given. The algorithms of work aimed at reliability of equipment operation and energy saving are introduced. Implementation of the described solutions will contribute to improving efficiency and reliability of equipment, increasing the proportion of scrap and reducing the melting period without changing of technological process.
