This research aims to know validity of thermochemistry suplement book based problem solving to train students metacognitive skills includes the content and construct. Content validity includes the suitability of the material and questions. Construct validity includes presentation and readability techniques. Problem solving model has 4 steps, that are understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and lock back. Metacognitive skills consist of 3 components, namely planning, monitoring, and evaluating. The type of research used is the Research and Development (R&D) from Sugiyono. The supplement book was assessed by 3 experts in the field of chemical education using a validation instrument. The results showed that a chemical supplement book based on problem solving to train students' metacognitive skills on thermochemical material was very good with a score of 91.6% in content validation and 84.9% in construct validation.

Objective Improve the content validity of the instrument for classification of pediatric patients and evaluate its construct validity. Method A descriptive exploratory study in the measurement of the content validity index, and correlational design for construct validation through exploratory factor analysis. Results The content validity index for indicators was 0.99 and it was 0.97 for graded situations. Three domains were extracted in the construct validation, namely: patient, family and therapeutic procedures, with 74.97% of explained variance. The instrument showed evidences of content and construct validity. Conclusion The validation of the instrument occurred under the approach of family-centered care, and allowed incorporating some essential needs of childhood such as playing, interaction and affection in the content of the instrument.

This research was conducted to develop an e-learning platform using Moodle Application ofacid based topic. This is research and Development (RD). The Development model used is a 4-D which consist of stage define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to the stage of development, namely the validity. The E-learning was Validated by 7validators. Data from validity the result were analized using the Aikens'V formula. Based onthe result of the study, it was found that the average Aikens’V of content validity test was0,84 with a category valid and the average Aikens’V of construct validity was 0,81 with acategory valid. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan konten pembelajaran e-learning berbasis aplikasi moodle pada materi asam basa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4-D dengan empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap pengembangan yaitu penentuan validitas. Validitas dilakukan oleh 7 validator. Data diambil dari angket validitas lalu dianalisis menggunakan rumus formula Aikens’V. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas konten menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata formula Aikens’V adalah 0,84 dengan kategori valid dan hasil validitas konstruk dengan rata-rata formula Aikens’V adalah 0,81 dengan kategori valid.

Purpose - This study investigated the content and construct validity of the Reflective-Metacognitive Learning (RML) Model, and the effectiveness of the RML Model in comparison with Cognitive-Metacognitive Learning (CML) Model in improving students’ metacognitive knowledge, skills, and awareness after the learning process. Methodology - This experimental study began with developing the RML Model, which covered planning, development and evaluation. A focus group discussion involving four experts in science education was conducted to determine the validity of the RML Model and its supporting devices in terms of content validity and construct validity. An experimental study using a randomized pretest-posttest control group design was then implemented on forty senior high school students to evaluate the effectiveness of the RML Model against the CML Model. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically. Findings - The results showed that the RML Model was highly valid in terms of content validity and construct validity, Metacognitive knowledge increased to a high degree, while metacognitive skills and awareness increased to a medium degree. Based on the results, it was concluded that the RML Model was valid and more effective than the CML Model in terms of improving students’ metacognitive ability. Significance - The RML Model, which is marked by the reflection of thinking processes as the core, is expected to improve students' metacognitive ability.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan software anti mischem yang dikembangkan untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi pada materi asam basa kelas 11 dengan menggunakan stratgei conceptual chnage text. Kelayakan sebuah software dapat ditinjau tiga aspek, meliputi (1) Validitas dapat ditunjukan dengan validasi isi dan validasi konstruk, (2) Kepraktisan dapat ditunjukan dengan hasil angket respon siswa yang didukung dengan hasil obesrvasi aktivitas siswa, (3) Keefektifan dapat ditunjukan dengan hasil pergeseran konsepsi siswa dari miskonsepsi menjadi paham konsep. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono, dengan subjek 15 siswa SMAN 1 Krembung yang mempunyai persentase miskonsepsi tertinggi. Hasil penelitian yang dipeoleh menunjukan bahwa software dinyakatakan layak untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa dalam materi asam basa dengan ditunjukannya perolehan validasi isi mendapatkan persentase rata–rata sebesar 84,63% dan validasi konstruk memperoleh 82,22%, kepraktisan dari hasil angket respon siswa mendapat rata–rata persentase sebesar 78,33% dan obsevasi aktivitas siswa mendapat rata-rata persentase 85,83%, serta keefektifan bisa ditunjukan dengan hasil pergeseran konsepsi siswa yang awalnya miskonsepsi menjadi paham konsep mendapatkan rata-rata persentase 85,52%. Abstract The aims of this research are to know the feasibility of software anti mischem developed to reduce misconceptions material acid-base in 11th grade by using conceptual change text strategy. The feasibility of software can be reviewed in three aspects, including (1) Validity can be reviewed from the content validation and construct validation, (2) Practicality can be demonstrated by the results of student response questionnaires that are supported by the results of student activity observation, (3) Effectiveness can be demonstrated by the results of students' conception shifts from misconception to conceptual understanding. The method used in the research is the Research and Development (R&D) method by Sugiyono, with the subject of 15 high school students 1 Krembung who has the highest percentage of misconceptions. The results obtained showed that the software was said to be feasible for reducing students misconception in acid-base material by demonstrating the content validation getting an average percentage of 84.76% and the construct validation of getting 82.22%, the practicality of the results of the student questionnaire responses getting an average percentage of 78.33% and observing the activities of students getting an average the percentage of 85.83%, as well as effectiveness can be demonstrated by results the conception shift of students who initially misconception into understanding the concept of getting an average percentage of 85.52%. <p><em>Keterampilan proses sains merupakan keterampilan yang penting untuk dikuasai oleh siswa. Oleh sebab itu, penting untuk mengukur penguasaan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Pada proses pengukurannya, diperlukan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. </em><em>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah </em><em>menganalisis kelayakan instrumen keterampilan proses sains (KPS) topik getaran dan gelombang IPA SMP yang dilihat dari validitas isi, validitas konstruk, reabilitas, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukaran. </em><em>Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&amp;D)</em><em> dengan</em><em> </em><em>model pengembangan 4D (four D model)</em><em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) validitas isi sebesar 0,92 dengan kriteria valid, 2) validitas konstruk dengan kriteria valid, 3) reliabilitas sebesar 0,902 dengan kriteria reliabel, 4) daya pembeda dengan kriteria baik, 4) taraf keskuaran dengan kriteria sedang.</em><em> Oleh sebab itu, instrument penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains siswa.</em></p><p><strong><em>Kata Kunci</em></strong><em>: </em><em>pengembangan</em><em> </em><em>instrumen</em><em>, </em><em>keterampilan</em><em> </em><em>proses</em><em> </em><em>sains</em><em>, getaran dan gelombang, validitas, reliabilitas</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p align="center"><em>Abstract</em></p><p><em>Science process skills are important skills to be mastered by students. Therefore, it is important to measure students' mastery of science process skills. In the measurement process, valid and reliable instruments are needed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of the Science Process Skills (KPS) instrument on the topic of vibration and waves of junior high school science in terms of content validity, construct validity, reliability, discriminating power and level of difficulty. The research method used is the research and development (R&amp;D) method with the 4D development model (four D model). The results showed that: 1) content validity of 0.92 with valid criteria, 2) construct validity with valid criteria, 3) reliability of 0.902 with reliable criteria, 4) distinguishing power with good criteria, 4) score level with moderate criteria.</em> <em>Therefore, this research instrument can be used to measure students' science process skills.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: instrument development, science process skills, vibration and waves, validity, reliability</em></p>

This study aims to determine the validity of textbook based Reading, Questioning and Answering (RQA) in process assessment and learning outcomes course at chemistry department Unesa. The research method uses research and development (R & D).The results showed that the textbook based RQA was feasible in term of construct validity with very valid category, content validity with very valid category, language and readability with valid category, and in accordance with the RQA strategy with a valid category.From this research, it can be concluded that the texbook suitable for use in process assessment and learning outcomes course.

 The aim of this research was to get a valid computer-based Electrolyte Fisher game to develop problemsolving skill of students on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution topics so it could be used in learningactivity. The type of this research was development research by using 4D model with four stages includingdefine, design, develop, and disseminate, but the stages carried out in this research only until developmentstage. Validity was determined by two chemistry lecturers and one chemistry teacher. Research resultsproved that Electrolyte Fisher game was valid based on content validity percentage of 84.44% and constructvalidity percentage of 85.37%. There were three criteria assessed in content validity including thecorrectness of concepts in matter obtaining a percentage of 86.67%; the suitability of matter with learningobjectives obtaining 86.67%; and the suitability of game with problem-solving skill component obtaining80.00%. There were two criteria assessed in construct validity, namely the suitability of game with learningmedia requirements which included nine aspects obtaining percentage of 87.78% and the suitability ofdisplay quality in game which included three aspects obtaining 82.96%. Based on results of this researchshowed that the computer-based Electrolyte Fisher game to develop students’ problem-solving skill wasdeclared valid.Key words: electrolyte fisher game, problem-solving skill, electrolyte, and nonelectrolyte solution.

This research is aims to describe the validity of interactive multimedia based on Android in the ion bonding sub material. This research uses Thiagarajan's 4-D development research consisting of Define; Design; Development and Disseminate. However, this research is limited to the Development stage of Thiagarajan in Ibrahim (2014). Multimedia validity is reviewed from the aspect of content validity and construct validity. This multimedia was validated by 2 Unesa chemistry lecturers and 1 chemistry teacher with the research instrument used in the form of a multimedia validation sheet then the results of the validation resulted in a validation score. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that android-based interactive multimedia on the ion bond sub-material is valid for use with percentage content validation and construct validity respectively 91.85% and 89.61% with highly valid criteria.
