The main areas of application of digital technologies in the Russian political process are related to the conduct of electronic voting and the use of Internet services for the development of new forms of political participation both at the national level and in the feld of local self-government The growth in the number of Internet users, which has become a steady trend over the past 20 years, creates new conditions for interaction between government structures and society They include both unknown risks of destabilization associated with increased demands on state institutions and reduced confdence in the government, as well as new opportunities for interaction between the state and the public in socially signifcant areas of public administration The implementation in practice of the course outlined by the Digital Economy program and designed to ensure Russia’s competitive advantages, taking into account the global trends of the expectation or the onset (according to various estimates) of the fourth industrial revolution, creates a new context for the development of political processes In these conditions, the author considered electronic voting technologies an integral part of the development of the modern state, and this view is typical, including for a signifcant part of the political elites.

The annual report, which is internationally recognized as an important tool for accountability and for delivering good information, has only been prepared by a few Ministries / State Institutions (MS/I) in Indonesia. This results in a lack of transparency and a lack of community participation. This study uses an institutional theory approach and aims to analyze the differences in MS/I motivation in the preparation and publication of annual reports and formulate efforts to increase that motivation. This research is a case study research by exploring the phenomena that occur in the preparation of MS/I annual reports and institutional factors that become the background. Data collection was carried out by distributing open-ended question questionnaires to Data and Information Management Officers from 86 MS/I. Respondents' answers were analyzed using content analysis techniques, thematic analysis, and constant comparative analysis. The results showed that the dominant logic is symbolic carriers at the national level, that is the logic that the preparation of annual reports is an "obligation" to implement the Act. Material carriers affect only the routines factor while relational systems and artifacts are not found to be constrained. Normative isomorphism occurs in all MS/I that are respondents of the study, while coercive isomorphism and mimetic isomorphism occur in 60% of MS/I. To encourage motivation for the preparation of annual reports, the government must prepare a clear regulation, standardized guidelines, internal SOPs and implement annual report awards.

This article elucidates the existence of Ushuluddin sciences  at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in the past, its developments in form and substance, in appreciating the global developments of Islamic studies, and its connections with the wider academic world. If we look at the development of Ushuluddin’s curriculum, especially since the early 2000s (post-reform era), it appears that the disciplines take part in both national and global trends. However, its academics have not written in international journals indexed by Scopus.I n fact, they are very productive in writing articles in journals at the national level. Presumably, favorable regulations and comprehensive support from the government and universities are not maximized.

As public procurement systems around the world continue their modernization process, many countries are including a new objective in their reform efforts: the implementation of public policies in the procurement process. This has been a growing trend in Latin America, where countries have shown leadership in incorporating public policies into their modernization plans, being a perfect example is the introduction of green public procurement standards. There is particular interest in incorporating sustainability in public procurement at the sub-national level where governments are directly responsible for the provision of citizen services. In the case of Argentina, the Government of the City of Buenos Aires is at the forefront of public procurement modernization, leading the country in green public procurement strategies. This chapter explores the principles and global trends that have influenced the City of Buenos Aires in implementing green public procurement and provides insight on the economic rationale and potential benefits for one of the largest metropolitan regions in LAC.

<div class="WordSection1"><p><em>Newspaper industry is entering a state of emergency in Indonesia. Dewan Pers demands that the government provide incentives to press companies during Covid-19. The growth in the number of internet users, the downward trend in advertising revenue, and the number of newspaper circulation are problems in the print media business. List of questions in this study: what are the trends in the use of internet technology and social media in Indonesia?; why did various newspaper companies in Indonesia collapse and die in the digital era?; how is the effort to save the newspaper business? Meanwhile, the research paradigm is qualitative. The time of the study is November 2019 to May 2020. The results of this research, the growth in the number of internet users has been extraordinary in the last 20 years. Signs of the newspaper era are over, strengthened by many newspaper companies turning to online media. The number of readers fell, the number of advertisers plummeted, number of copies narrowed, and the cost of producing newspapers became increasingly expensive to cause the closure of various newspaper companies. Rescue by attracting young readers and doing various innovations. Tragically, the print media industry will end and die on its own.</em></p></div>

Following the useful distinction made by Marc J. Swartz this is a study in ‘local-level’ rather than ‘local’ politics, because of the fundamental fact that ‘actors and groups outside the range of the local multiplex relationships are vitally and directly involved in the political processes of the local group’.1 The political process is therefore not discrete. My focus is on the interrelationships existing between political forces within and outside the Kgatleng District of Botswana, and my analysis deals with the situation as it existed during the early 1970s; changes in certain key variables – most crucially the attitude of the Chief to the Government – could radically alter the configuration of alliances, as may be seen from my postscript.

The article analyzes contemporary political processes in the newly  independent states of post-Soviet Central Asia. The peculiarities of  functioning of their centralized political systems, as well as the  interaction of the executive (the president and the government) and  the legislative (parliament) branches of power are considered in the  context of the authoritarian type of government that prevails in most  countries of the region. Attention is drawn to the use by the  ruling elites for the purposes of political mobilization of procedures  for electoral democracy (elections, etc.), which is mostly of a formal  nature. The place in the power structures of both officially  recognized political parties and opposition ones is defined, which are  divided mainly into secular and religious (Islamist). Informal political structures that function in a number of cases in the form of regional  communities, territorial or ethnic clans are considered in the article as a specific characteristic of Central Asian societies. Based on the analysis of the political process in the Central Asian countries, it  was concluded that the whole period of post-Soviet transit has come  to an end and that authoritarian but consolidated regimes of a new  type are emerging in the region; they form a sovereign statehood  and an independent foreign policy strategy.
