Education never get out of adequate facilities and infrastructure. These can support education. One of them is the using of teaching material. The limiting of it makes students have one handbook only and learn by using it, so they don’t practice enough on working other math problems. With these problems, researcher is encouraged to develop mathematical module cube and block with a scientific approach for 5th grade elementary school. Type of this research is research and development (R&D) with aim to know that development of mathematical cubes and block module with scientific approach for 5th grade is feasible or not. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the development of mathematical cubes and blocks modules with the scientific approach are said to be very feasible with a percentage of 84 from material expert, 81,34 from module expert, 83 from 5th grade teacher and 95,10 from 5th grade students.

The purpose of this study was to find out (1) developing a thematic Worksheet (LKPD) for PPKn content for grade IV elementary school, (2) knowing the feasibility of learning products made. This research includes development research. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used was qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that LKPD products were suitable for use. LKPD teaching materials obtain a feasibility percentage from material experts 83.5% with very feasible criteria, the results of the feasibility percentage from thematic experts 91.3% with very feasible criteria, the results of the feasibility percentage of class teachers 86% with criteria very feasible, and the results of feasibility percentage from the principal 84.5% with very decent criteria. The response of students from small-scale trials obtained a percentage of 90.13% with very feasible criteria, while a large scale obtained an average score of 80.5 with very good criteria. The conclusion is that the Student Worksheet (LKPD) in Thematic Contents of Pancasila and Civic Education in Class IV of Sokowaten Baru Elementary School in Yogyakarta Academic Year 2018/2019 is very feasible to use as teaching material and learning.

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses dan hasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan TK PAUD Anak Bangsa Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melalui penerapan media bulletin board. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart, yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah TK PAUD Anak Bangsa yang berjumlah 16 orang anak. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari delapan pertemuan pada setiap siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan anak mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan media bulletin board. Skor kemampuan membaca permulaan anak pada pra siklus sebesar 44, siklus I sebesar 62, dan siklus II sebesar 65,125. Hasil tersebut memberikan implisasi bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan media bulletin board.Research action aims to describe the process and results in improving the ability to read the beginning of TK PAUD Anak Bangsa of Palembang City South Sumatera Province through the application of Media bulletin board. The research methods used are research actions with the Kemmis and Taggart models, which include planning, action and observation, reflection. The subject of this research is TK PAUD Anak Bangsa, a total of 16 children. Research is conducted in two cycles consisting of eight meetings on each cycle. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the ability to read children's beginnings improved after the media bulletin board was applied. Scores of children's start reading on the pre-cycle of 44, cycle I by 62, and cycle II by 65.125. The results gave implisation that the ability to read the start can be increased through the application of Media bulletin board.

This study aims to improve exposition writing skills of the 5th grade students through the application of the SAVI approach (Somatic, Auditory, Visual and Intellectual) in learning. This study is an action research carried out at SDK 6 Penabur North Jakarta. The research subjects were 5th grade students, amounting to 35 students. The implementation of the study was divided into two cycles, each cycle carried out three and four meetings. Data analysis techniques were carried out with qualitative descriptive techniques. The success of this study was seen from two criteria, namely the observation sheet applying the SAVI approach and increasing the results of exposition writing skills. The results of the study obtained are the application of the SAVI approach to make students actively move and search for their own information, students are increasingly active in group learning, creation of written and product made by students and able to find their own knowledge and skills. The increase in the results of exposition writing skills is also seen in the initial cycle and is increasing in cycle 2. This can be seen from the initial percentage of students who have not completed the task of exposition writing skills by 68%, then the percentage results in the first cycle are 45.7% and in the end of the second cycle students who obtained incomplete results were only 25.7%. Overall at the end of the second cycle all aspects and criteria for exposition writing experienced a significant increase.

This study aimed to improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years through motion video and song. The type of this study was a classroom action research were conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, test, and documentation. Quantitative data analysis techniques used comparative data analysis, and qualitative data analysis used interactive model analysis. The validity of quantitative data used construct validity, while the validity test of qualitative data using triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results showed there is an increased ability to recognize letters that can be viewed through an increase in the percentage of completeness that in the first cycle of 65% and the second cycle by 82%.The increase was evidenced by the child's success in imitating / create form letters b,d,p,q,l,i, pronounce letter sounds b,d,p,q,l,i and distinguish the shape of the letter b and d, p and q, l and i. The conclusion of this study is the impression of motion video and song can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years.

This study aims to produce computer-based learning media with a scientific approach to probability material. The development model used is the 4D model which consists of the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instrument used was a validity instrument in the form of a validation sheet and a practicality instrument in the form of a student response questionnaire. The data collection techniques used were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. Validation is carried out by four validators who are experts in their fields. A limited trial was conducted on 16 students of SMP Mutiara Harapan Pangkalan Kerinci. Students are divided into two groups, consisting of students with high, medium, and low abilities. Each group tries two learning media. From the results of data processing, it was found that the average validation of learning media on the media aspect was 3.47 with very valid criteria and the material aspect was 3.53 with very valid criteria. This means that all aspects of the device in the learning media developed are related consistently. While the average percentage obtained from the student response questionnaire in the limited trial was 90.59% with very practical criteria. This means that the learning media developed can be used in learning activities. It can be concluded that the learning media developed are valid and practical.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran, motivasi, dan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi melalui penerapan pendekatan proses siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Magelang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sejumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, analisis dokumen, dan angket. Pengujian validitas data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara trianggulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunakan deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian dikemukakan sebagai berikut. 1) Proses pembelajaran meningkat, 2) Motivasi menulis siswa meningkat.  3) Penerapan pendekatan proses dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi. Pada kegiatan pratindakan siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar hanya 6 siswa (20%), Siklus I menjadi 13 siswa (43%), Siklus II meningkat menjadi 19 siswa (63%), Siklus III mencapai 29 siswa (97%). Adapun nilai rerata kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa pada kegiatan pratindakan adalah 60, pada siklus I rerata 66,7, siklus II rerata70,8, dan siklus III rerata 78.Kata Kunci: motivasi, kemampuan  menulis, teks deskripsi, pendekatan proses  IMPROVING MOTIVATION AND WRITING CAPABILITY OF TEXT DESCRIPTION THROUGH OF PROCESS APPROACH TO GRADE VII STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 5 MAGELANG ABSTRACTThis research aimed to improve the process learning, motivation and writing capability of writing the descriptive text through the implementation of the process approach of students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 5 Magelang. This research was a classroom action research. This action study was divided into three cycles. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 5 Magelang in the academic year 2016/2017. The subjects were 30 students. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews, tests, document analysis, and questionnaires. Testing the validity of data in this study was conducted by means of triangulation, namely by using triangulation of data sources and data collection methods. Data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative techniques. Quantitative data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical techniques. Qualitative data analysis techniques used descriptive comparative. The results are presented as follows. 1) Learning process 2) Motivation to write descriptive texts. 3) The implementation of process approach could improve the capability of writing descriptive text. In preaction activities students who had completed learning reached 6 students (20%), in cycle I 13 students (43%), in cycle II 19 students (63%), and in cycle III 29 students (97%). The mean score of students' writing capability before treatment was 60, in cycle I 66.7, in cycle II 70.8, and in cycle III 78.Keywords: motivation, writing capability, text description, process approach

This study aims to describe the ability of students at x grade students of MAN 1 Bima in writing anecdotal text with a scientific approach. Therefore to know this problem used the theory of qualitative data analysis and quantitative analysis by using the tabulation width of student learning achievement in the book of  Prof. Mahsun, MS, and other theories. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with the character of analytic description. Interpretation of data is done through literature method and field observation with student assignment technique writing anecdote text using the scientific approach. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the students' ability to analyze at x grade students of MAN 1 Bima in writing anecdotal text with the scientific approach is at less-skilled value, This is evidenced from the results from students’ score that is only under minimum score. This is also evidenced by the results of qualitative data analysis and the score of students is only in the range under the minimum score. it is also evidenced from the results of qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis used tabulation data sheet that shows the number of the ability to write anecdote text of all students got to score 30 that is in the less skilled value category.

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of students' attitudes towards physics in Senior High School 8 Jambi City of Indonesia. This research is quantitative-qualitative research with survey research procedures. The subjects of this study were 170 students. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview sheets. Quantitative data analysis using descriptive statistics while qualitative data analysis using data analysis techniques model Miles and Huberman. The results of the 3 aspects of attitude indicators discussed in this study are on the indicator of normality of scientists as much as 60% are categorized quite good. While the attitude towards investigation in physics is 51% in the good category. Then in the indicator of interest in a career in the field of physics as much as 58% of students are categorized well.
